《Monster Integration 》Chapter 1056. Top 5

"Now, it is time for the last battle of the Top 10." The Host said as Jill returned to the Participants Area. "Ellen Ashford Vs. John Hall." The Host called.
This is the last fight of the Top 10; with it finished, the Top 5 will be selected, that will be quarter-final, only winning the match will be one reach the semifinals that will happen today.
Ellen and John went out through the two doors and minutes later; they reached the Arena where their fight started with the permission of the referee.
The strange thing happened as the fight started, unlike her opponent John, Ellen did not use her bloodline. She had just summoned her white sword and moved to fight.
A frown couldn't help but appear on my face when I saw her body, even Edmond and Jill, who gave me the same feeling as she had shown some of their power when fighting.
Soon the frown eased on my face, Ellen is not someone who will get drunk on power and think less of her opponent, especially at this stage, and I was right when I saw the momentum Ellen is moving toward John and got quite shocked.
Her speed is great; I could see the resistance of Air when she moved through it, though her speed could not be compared to speed; it is extremely fast, a little slower than what I got when I activated the full power of my runic armors speed formations.
Which is a shocking thing as she is just using just her physical energy, not her bloodline? Even if she had hidden the visual effect of the activation of her Bloodline, the energy fluctuation would be sensed no matter how much energy control she had, but there is nothing.
It is quite difficult to gain such immense physical strength while still being a knight. It is likely the work of her bloodline; it is strengthening her body passively; it is quite common for a bloodline to do that.

The more powerful the Bloodline is, the more passively it will strengthen the host's attribute, and since Rachel's Bloodline is an Apex bloodline, it is not that surprising for her to have such scary physical strength.
Finally, both of them clashed and were equally matched, which seems to make John unhappy as the fury dawned on his face, and he started to attack crazily while Ellen was defending against them at the east.
Despite using his full power and Art, John is still incapable of pushing Elena; he could only fight her to a standstill.
Here in the Participants area, the four of us watched the fight very very carefully. Ellen is going to win, and there is no doubt in that, so we are watching every move carefully to create a plan to defeat her.
It is especially true to Edmond and Jill, who both were till now watching the leaning relaxdaily from their chairs have not strained up and now watching the fight with their abilities.
The fight continues with John using all his abilities while Ellen is calmly countering them. This lasted for five minutes before Ellen launched her offensive and started to push back against John.
My expression couldn't help but change, seeing that I know things will happen but did not happen this quickly. Ellen continued to push back, and three minutes later, her while the sword was on the neck of John.
There was quite dessapointment on John's face when a sword appeared on his neck, but he accepted defeat, and both of them walked out of the Arena in deafening cheers of the audience.
"Well, quite a fight, isn't it?" The host said to the audience as she appeared on the Arena; to her question, the audience cheered loudly, showing their emotions.
"Now that the Top five had been selected, It is time for Quarterfinals." The Host said amidst the cheer of the audience as she looked at a screen where projections of five frames were floating.

"As per rules of the Championship, Edmond Soren will directly be advanced to semifinals as he finished the battle quickest while the remaining four while will have to fight battles to advance into it," she said. The frame of advance, Edmon flew to the Semifinal Bracket.
"Now, it is time for the 1st match of the Quarterfinals." The host said, and frames started. I watched the frames with bated breath as there is a very high chance I will fight those fights.
"The Battle will be between Camilla Johnson and Micheal Zaar." The host announced and finally released the breath that I did not know I was holding.
A faint smile appeared on my face as I saw the name of Camilla. I am very happy it is Camila as I was very sure I would have been no match against Jill and Ellen; they would finish me off within five minutes.
I smiled at my friends as I got up from my spot and walked toward the Arena. This time the audience was even crazier, but I had little experience; I smiled and waved at them as I walked toward the Arana.
Soon, I reached the Arena and came face to face with Camila, looking at me without expression. The only emotion she had on her is battle intent; her eyes are burning with it.
All her intel, abilities, and battle flashed before, and I knew I had to use most of my power from the beginning. She will be harder to deal with than Simon with her Level 10 Elemental constitution.
She had not used the power of her Elemental Constitution last time when she fought against George, but I am very sure she will use continuation now, which will boost the power of her Level 4 tremendously.
It is a good thing I had comprehended the 1st Chapter of my Eldritch Sword Art; otherwise, I would have had no hope to win this round.
"Both of you ready?" The Hostess/Referee asked, and we nodded in unison.
"Fight," she said and disappeared from her spot.

The friends found themselves home in the real world, exactly as they'd been the night they were taken, as if no time had passed... except only three came back. Hi there! This was my entry for National Novel Writing Month, because why only write one series at a time? The more the merrier! (meanwhile, my keyboard bursts into flames...) I'm also the writer of The Last Science, an ongoing low-fantasy/speculative sci-fi series. If you're familiar with that, you know what to expect here: lots of character-focused drama and dialogue, not a whole lot of traditional action. However, I'm writing a bit differently than usual here, and in a very different structure, so there should be some surprises for returning readers. I hope you enjoy it! [Discord] — for those of you who want to hang out and chat. Cover art (fullsize): Path of Revelation, by taenaron (Tobias Roetsch), modified by Etzoli. Normally I like to do my own cover art from scratch, but I was in a rush for the contest. Might be replaced down the line if I get time. The General Core {The Sphere}
The life cycle in the Sphere is on the brink of collapse because one of its elements, the Dungeons, have been exploited too much by the mortals. The group who created the Sphere already tried and failed with several modifications, because the original computer-like dungeon cores are too inflexible to handle changing approaches. So they try another type of solution – taking souls from other worlds to try to find a solution before the Sphere Cycle breaks down completely. The General was one of the best soldiers of his world, rising from the ranks of a private through Officer School to the highest command with honors. But when his world faced a zombie apocalypse, even that was not enough and he had to make the ultimate sacrifice. Now he is asked for a repeat performance of planning and controlling a dungeon and its spawns in a world that he knows nothing about… But what is the Sphere really? What is that [Xenotic conversion] he has to go through to even enter the Sphere? Something is really strange and he will have to find out what is going on to get to his promised rewards – whatever they will be. Being a soul in a dungeon core means that the General has better chances of finding hints to the truth about the sphere – a knowledge that would help him survive. And no, the sphere is NOT a virtual reality – the key to its secrets is the place where it was physically constructed (Author’s hint). This is a dungeon core story - but there are quite a number of things that I will do differently than common to those stories. 1) I will describe the floors when they are explored, NOT when they are build. Yes, that will mean it will take longer to get to those parts - but I think describing floors both when they are build and when they are explored destroys quite a lot of chances for suspense when adventurers enter the dungeon. After all, if you as the reader already know where the traps are, then you can't really be surprised when the surfacers encounter them. 2) How the world works (and how not) is an integral part of the story, so it will be explained I'm a world-builder first and the Sphere is NOT a regular world (as hinted in the synopsis above). Things will work differently than in your 08/15 default dungeon core stories - as the General and Gunny have already learned in the second arc (and more of that is already scheduled for the next weeks (July/Aug 2019) when the Sky Arrows continue to explore and evaluate that strange dungeon) If you don't like these premises, then I'm sure you'll find a lot of other Dungeon Core stories more to your liking. But if you are interested in more than "Dungeon builds another room and corridor in medieval earth" and are not afraid of a longer and slower story, then go on. I have two more stories in the Sphere, although they both have lower priority than this one: Shaleen the Wanderer (Adventurer, NSFW) (currently on hold after some chapters) Info's on the Sphere (System Docu and Short Stories) (irregular updates when needed) Current Status reports have been moved to a new discord server: https://discord.gg/EaHkXCfm9y

From beyond The Veil
Witnesses say that the angels blaze appeared back in the eighties. A dazzling light ripped through the sky all across the world. People say they saw a rainbow of colors bathing the sky. It was gone in a instant. Some legends say that it was an angel falling from the sky. But most scholars agree that it was a rare comet. They all were wrong. The light was a breaking of the veil, the veil to my world. Now creatures from my side of the veil are breaking through and it's my job to keep them back and protect all the humans.
