《Monster Integration 》Chapter 204. Job II

"Ashlyn, go lure some Violet horn oxen monsters out!" I said and started to move away sneakily.
I will have to move far enough that my fight with violet horn oxen's didn't attract their large group.
I move speedily for fifteen minutes before I reached the required distance.
This small part of the area is violet horn oxen's hunting field, no other monsters casually breach.
This is far enough, from this distance even if the monster roared top of their lungs, their group won't come in time to save them.
Now I just have to wait for Ashlyn to lure out some monsters out.
Ten some minute later, I sensed Ashlyn coming toward my direction, I activated my sword while waiting for to come closer.
"Moo!" I heard faint moo from my left, it sound full of frustration and anger, looked Ashlyn is doing her job well.
Seconds passed and I started to see silhouettes of violet horn Ox, especially their eye-catching violet horns which they got their name from.
Soon I saw Ashlyn leading angry group of violet horn oxen's, there are five them and as they get closer, I was able to sense their level.
Three violet horn oxen's are at the Initial level of Corporal stage, one is at a mid-level while the biggest one peak level.
All of their sizes are between four to six meters with large swaths of thick hair covering their bodies.
"Mooo!" the leading violet horn ox mooed loudly as Ashlyn attack it with a fireball.
The fireball did not affect it much but it felt irritating and that what angered it most.
It tried to attack her but its no use, the monster use physical attacks and Ashlyn is bird type monsters, no matter how powerful its attacks is, as long as it disnt touch her, they are useless and that what making monster even more furies.

"Good Job, Ashlyn!" I said when monsters were still a few meters away.
"Mooo!" before Ashlyn could reply, I heard a thunderous moo from the five Violet horn oxen's.
They come at me with furious expressions eyes, related or not they had finally found their target and they are going to pierce those sharp horns into it.
Seeing they are coming at me furiously, I did not get scared but smiled heartily.
These monsters are good opponent, I want to test my power, see how much I had improved.
I activated the lively, first tide of nine raging tides and started circulating supreme combat exercise as monster were few meters away of me.
'whoosh!' just peak level monsters came near and readied his horns to attack me, I moved away and straightly went toward three initial level monster while dodging the attack of mid-level monster.
"Swish!" Coming closer to the initial level monster, I directly swing my sword toward the neck of the initial level monster.
"Pachac!" half of its neck is cut and it fell on the ground screaming in pain, I quickly fed more mana to the lively wind and move away from the attack of other two initial level monsters.
I was a little surprise seeing the wound of that size, I knew that I would be able to kill it one move if my luck is good but I did not expect, this large wound.
It should die in a minute by such large would, even if it had good healing ability, it would very hard to survive from the wound.
This Violet Horn Ox monster have to think skin compare to normal Corporal grade monsters.
So, making this much wound shows that my sword technique and strength had an improvement in the four days of strenuous training.

"Mooo! Mooo!…." the four remaining monsters mooed loudly, seeing their partner is flailing in the ground while losing lots of blood.
All four minster attacked me fury in their eyes, a smile come on my face seeing that.
Bring it on! I said and ran toward them while feeding little more mana to the Lively Wind.
"Mooo!" The monsters mood loudly seeing me running toward them, they become aggressive and attack toward me more swiftly.
I jumped high and when I have only two-meter distance between the attacking monsters.
I did not activate sky jump as there is no need for it.
I jumped up and went down with my sword piercing toward the second initial level monster.
"Puch!" before it knows it, my sword directly pierced through its skull, it did not even get a chance to scream before its dead.
I fell with and rolled on the ground to manage my fall and I quickly got up and put some distance between me and monsters before they come close to me.
It was a really amazing move, I never jumped that high, my muscle felt like spring, taking me high as I need to be.
The exercise of Wind Slayer style is really amazing, what night blade style took a month to achieve, it did less than four days.
Now I can faintly understand why those elites bodies able to perform those very complicated moves.
They must have practiced combat style same or higher level as Wind Slayer style.
In the next few seconds, I killed the last initial level monster.
"Mooo!" Mid-level and peak level monster came toward me roaringly, I quickly threw away the potion bottle from which, I just drank mana potion and activated the second tide of nine raging strikes.
This time I did not move from my place and let them come at me, this move is a little risky but it wants to try, if I am able to do it then it will be very useful in dangerous times.
"Moo!" both of the monster came attacking me.
As peak level monsters attack about to touch me, I flipped from my spot and took a spin, using that flips momentum, I pierced my sword directly into the eyes of the mid-stage monster.
"Puchi!" "Bam!" I was able to pierce my sword into monsters eye but it raging momentum through me out my place.
"Thud!" I rolled on the floor to diffuse the blow as fall on the floor and about to prepare for the attack of peak stage monster which is supposed to come at me but I found nothing.
When I look up, I found the peak level monster is running away from me and had already a little far.
"Fire Stike!" I directly attack with my knight grade skill, having no mood to chase after it.
The silver bolt of fire had passed from hit behind and hit its skull, killing it in one move.
Seeing everything is done, I started to process the monster, first, I have removed all five monsters cores, spinal fluid and horns, they are the most expensive.
Then I carefully removed their skin, the skin of Violet Horn Ox monster is one of the best material to make practice suits.
Though I have to burn all the hairs on its skin as they are useless.
Last is meat which I carefully separated and preserved carefully, its meat also in demand, so I am not going to leave that.

Flame Beneath The Snowfall
Alto is a world governed by Tones. Magic, as one might call it. Manifested through deep mental and physical conditioning, one can control the Tones in a way that is unique to them. The power to store items in gems, transfer life, affect a person's mind, and even the more primal abilities such as control of the elements. Those who have these supernatural abilities are called 'Vassals.' People that fully manifest their abilities are not as common as one might think, and not all Vassals acquire their ability through practice, given if conditions are met. In fact, those who had received much trauma manifest the Tones more frequently, albeit spontaneously. However, the rare kind of Vassals are those who manifest it from childhood. A gift, but not without its repercussions. Alto is stuck in a transitional era, where the line between modern and dated technology is blurred. One can travel to a city that has a tall skyline, bustling with people in sophisticated clothing, or a mere town governed by a lord, all the while riding on a powered vehicle. Cultures vary: Some turn to the more dated practices such as castes, others are more inclined to set equal footing on their people, led by nobility. Some are dedicated to become scholars, studying Alto's Tones, while others set foot on hunts, protecting lone towns from the creatures of some of the still-untamed lands. And the Vassals? Those willing are took under The Organization, an elusive group, its presence said to permeate all throughout Alto, taking care of Rogue Vassals that abuse their abilities and other businesses related to their side. But what is this story all about, you may ask? Well, set your sights on the upper portions of this huge landmass that is Alto. Yes, the 'whole' world is called Alto, but that is because the majority of the known people live on this large continent. Relieve yourself of the worrying tensions everywhere, and see the white snow. Trace the piercing mountaintops and focus your eyes between the valley. A town sits there. Mido. After realizing that the memories only left in his mind was the night of his town's imminent destruction in flames, a boy finds himself grasping for every fiber of his life as he lays down flat on the ground. Beneath him was soot mixed with the white snow. Fortunately, a group of investigators, who were supposed to answer their call for help, saved him from his sorry state. With a newfound second wind, but hampered by his loss of memory, he must solve his own case: Who had the audacity to set Mido, his town, aflame? Flame Beneath the Snowfall focuses on action, with a sense of adventure, but mostly the discovery of an outside world, and the protagonist's exposure to it. Add in a whisk of soft magical elements, and you get a story that I hope will be interesting to the readers. That is not to say that my work is without the sense of unnerving atmosphere, however. As a forewarning, there are elements of gore, horror, minor elements of mental trauma, etc. so it is not for all audiences. *The book is already completed. Although I have plans to continue the story (it would have to involve much larger scope in terms of world-building), I have yet to decide when to start the next entry.

To Blunt The Sharpest Claw
The Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels are a series of New Fable genre novels that involve cats and dogs and high adventure and romance and espionage and food-fights and hotels and explosions and car chases. With large casts, exotic locations and an absurdity only possible in the absence of human characters, the Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels blend Wind in the Willows with James Bond, though with more cafes and fewer badgers. This submission is the third title in its Morigan Trilogy, beginning two-thirds of the way through the series' longest adventure yet. Here's a quick recount of what's happened so far: When Oscar Teabag-Dooven, a Velvet Paw of Asquith, is ordered to investigate how a mysterious poet, the Ar'dath-Irr, is able to travel instantaneously around the world, two very bad things happen. Firstly, he meets Lydia, an insane librarian who punches everyone in the face, and secondly, the Ar'dath-Irr reveals he is intent on taking over the world. Although this second thing might be considered worse than the first, Oscar feels differently following Lydia’s destruction of a cafe, a library and his face in one afternoon. In comparison, thwarting world domination just seems easier. Along with Binklemitre, a fellow Velvet Paw of Asquith, and Lydia, Oscar infiltrates the Ar’dath-Irr’s realm of dark poetry to discover the dog not only intends wrenching the world apart but has no intention of cleaning up afterwards. As a result, Oscar decides it’s all too hard and goes home to have a bath. After lots of arguing and the sort of food fight that posh restaurants were invented for, Lydia and Binklemitre convince him that they must stop the Ar’dath-Irr for several reasons, one of them quite serious. A vibrant cast of characters collide as Oscar, Lydia and Binklemitre battle the Ar’dath-Irr and his disciples in an adventure involving exploding cafés and appalling hotels, car chases and inadvertent surgery, dreadful poetry, lots of arguments and at least one temper-tantrum, all of which draw the three into dark and convoluted corners of a world they weren’t aware existed. Moreover, any chance of sitting down and discussing things over some buns disappears when Lydia punches the Ar’dath-Irr in the face. This results in her having a psychotic episode and Oscar getting run over by an ambulance. Although Binklemitre suffers neither, he witnesses both, which is almost as dreadful, though not nearly so messy. An enormous battle ensues, followed by a dinner party and then everything explodes.
