《Monster Integration 》Chapter 22. Shopping and Expenses

The mall has total eighteen floors and sells everything from Magical Artifacts to Home Appliances.
This is my first time to enter the mall, it is big as I expected to line with various Brand's storefront.
I first walk into the Clothing section, I am in really needs of cloths both everywhere and for adventuring.
I chose the cloths which are currently in fashion, the adventuring and training suits really cost me a pretty penny and not only clothes I also brought all the accessories as well such shoes, gloves etc.
After selecting clothes, I walk toward the adventuring department from which I brought necessary things which are required for adventuring outside such as backpack, camps and preservation boxes which require to store the monster's material.
The preservation boxes are really special, they are just thumb size but they can expand to the size of the half-meter cube.
Now I have to buy the most important things that are Potions and Medical Supplies which are on the thirteenth floor.
When I enter the floor potions section, I am quite enthralled by glittery bottles of the Potions, there are hundreds of type of them if not thousands.
I have never much read about the potions on the web but when I saw the price these thumb-size colorful bottles, I so shocked that I nearly fall flat on my ass.
The average price of this bottle is ten thousand credit. The Potion with the lowest price cost three thousand five hundred credit and that potion is Grade 1 low-level Mana supplement potion or simply know as mana potion which used by Lv.1 Private Grade evolvers.
This is the potion which Jim drank during the battle to supplement his dried mana, this also the potion I came here for.
Just that the potion I brought is Grade 1 mid-level potion which costs six thousand credit, I brought three of them costing me eighteen thousand credit.

I had the wish to buy healing potion but seeing it's the price of twenty thousand credits, I decided to buy the ointment.
I brought many miscellaneous things after that such as Ashlyn's comb, bandages etc.
The total shopping I spend a whopping thirty-two thousand credits, the most expensive single thing is my backpack. It cost me whopping seven thousand credits but seeing it's a function I thought it's totally worth it.
Its sleek black in color, it can endure the attack of Specialist stage, the most important thing about this backpack that it is semi-automated.
During the battle, if need anything from the backpack I just need to say it with my voice and it will automatically provide me without the need of me opening it.
It is a very good function which prompted me to buy it, despite its high price, it is the lowest price backpack in the semi-automatic range of the backpacks.
All the things I have to buy I brought it, even if I forgot something I can order it from the web and it would be delivered in a few minutes.
In my apartment sitting on the bed, I check the services offered by the training hall.
They all are standard services offered by the private training room like private practice spaces, practice with robotic humans and monster's etc.
The fees of training facility are expensive, I have to pay seven thousand per month for its a minimum package but from what I read is all worth it, I sign up for it.
Of the fifty thousand credits which I got from selling Monster cores now, I have only eleven thousand left in my account and me didn't think they will enough to last ten days.
Rent, food, and training and for that, I have to spend twenty thousand credit and these are only basic necessities which Adventurer needs.

But to make the progress one to have a different kind of Potions and medicine and to survive against both monster's and human's, one has to both offensive and defensive artifacts.
I plan on leaving the city three days later but first, I have to do practice in the training facility. Jim had said in the forest monster's aren't the only danger's, people also kill people.
He said fighting with monsters and fighting with man is completely different before going outside, I should train with people first to get a hang of it.
Thanks to the battle my mana purity had reached 61% only four percent away from the standard purity of 65% percent.
One's mana purity though innate talent or external sources like potions or monster material could only be reached up to 65%, after that no innate talent or external source can help to purify your mana anymore.
Only through hard work that you have to take further steps. That is where the most important job of Refinement Engine starts, it is the refinement engine that helps you to further.
The more purified is your mana is the more it helps you level up and evolve to next stage, those who have low purity of mana have little chance advance into the further stage of evolver.
If one wants to create a totem, one had to have least 70% percent of mana purity, higher the purity is stronger the totem would be.
Many people wait for tens of years to level up to Lieutenant stage to purify mana because of they only one chance to create a Totem.
Central storage of my Refinement Engine full, now I just have to re-refine my mana for more purity. I sat on the lotus position on the mattress front of my bed and started to re-refining my mana.
The whole process is dull and boring, I have move mana from the central storage to refinement section and the refinement mana then goes to condensation and then back to central storage.
Before the battle, I barely able to refine my mana more than an hour but now I have done it for three hours and I didn't feel much tired, it's like in the battle my state of mind had a big change and I want to test that theory by practicing Supreme Combat Exercise.
The apartment to too small to perform any exercise, if I perform the Exercise here I will probably break haft the apartment, I will have to go to the training facility.
I change into new white training suit that I have just brought especially to wear in the training facility. "Ashyn will you stay in the apartment or integrate into me?" I asked her as in the training facility, the monsters are not allowed.
"Chu." she cried out in an angry manner and integrate into me, I laugh seeing her antics, still she can see everything that I am seeing when she is integrated inside me.
"Beep." I heard notification on my watch when I am walking toward the elevator, I opened to see what it is about.
It's from the Building administration, it is saying that they have invited Sergeant stage evolver to give guidance lecture, I was said in apartment info that every month they invite someone to give guidance lecture about the magic practice.
Being curious I also decided to attend, it is only an hour lecture and starts intent minutes, there is nothing to lose even if it's a boring lecture, it's the only hour that I will waste.

Dream of the Abyss
Elisa Mary Grant died in a hospital bed after being stuck in it for six months, and like any other, her soul drifted away from her husk when she passed. For her, death was a release. It merely meant that she no longer have to wake up in pain, breathing through tubes and have doctors flood her veins with dubious chemicals for “experimental treatment”. Free from her mortal constraints and useless body, she felt… at peace, serene, even. Death is bliss, after all, when objectively living sucked to the point of extreme. Therefore, there was no reason to mourn at all and she knew she definitely didn't. ... That was until, on her way for a proper reincarnation, she found herself rudely interrupted and left stranded in the great NoWhere. “Wonderful,” she remarked as she floated in the [Beyond], “Just when I thought that suicide is the answer.” Author's note: Updates every Tuesday-Wednesday, probably some time in between. ... P.S Notes: Contains existential questions and nihilistic themes, rather philosophical. Will be rather sluggish until the MC gets her shit together. P.SS Notes: Story takes time to develop. And maybe uncomfortable. It's not gonna be action-packed or filled with battles, I think. Anyway, it is kinda unusual. P. SSS Notes: It is not LitRpg. Don't be fooled.

(un)Lucky
After dying on his hospital bed, Jack is surprised to once again regain consciousness. Turns out he’s in purgatory where he learns that God has been pretty into gaming lately… you already know where this is going, don’t you? Yeah, yeah, I know, another LitRPG story like many others. SO original… But why then do we keep reading them and looking for more? The answer, for me at least, is because they’re usually just plain fun. That’s all I hope my story can be: fun. No fixed releases for now, nor any future plans. I’m just trying to enjoy my time writing it. Btw, the cover is something random I did and has absolutely nothing to do with anything. Don’t ask me why.

Witchbone: The Goblins Winter
Themes found in these stories include friendship, found family, defying negative expectations, trying to figure out how to be a force for good in your corner of the world, doing heroic things even if you don't look or feel like a hero, and that being different isn't necessarily fatal. Summary: A spell of arctic weather. A mysterious death. The reading of a will. Strange tracks in the snow. Eleven-year-old Danny Hallow accepts his life, such as it is. His father is dead, his mother left years ago. His three Keepers are the only people aware of Danny's erratic and not-very-impressive psychic abilities. He has no friends, he's been suspended from school, and he's responsible for the life of a small brown bat that's ended up in his care. When Danny's estranged Uncle Enoch dies under mysterious circumstances, he and his Keepers are called to the town of Eddystone, New Hampshire for the reading of the man's will. Traveling four hundred miles from his dreaded hometown to attend, Danny is happy to get away, possibly inherit something interesting- and maybe find out more about his family while he's there. Arriving at the crumbling family estate of Gnomewood Home, he finds it to be hauntingly familiar, a bit creepy, oddly comforting, and possibly alive. When his uncle's will reveals that he's inherited Gnomewood and everything in it, he's determined to stay and make a happier life for himself in Eddystone, somehow. But at Gnomewood, he finds more questions than answers to his family's secrets. Disturbing old memories come to him in dreams. His psychic abilities begin to grow stronger, and as a result he becomes aware that a horde of cryptic creatures are plaguing the town of Eddystone, seemingly drawn out by the spell of an unusually frigid February. Toothy little goblins that are sneaky, vicious, and hungry. Goblins that take a particular interest in Danny. Will the emergence of the alien, and potentially dangerous, power he's inherited from his peculiar family tree help Danny survive the goblin infested winter, inadvisable attempts to befriend a terrifying boy with silver eyes, and a new school? Only if he learns to control them before they put him and everyone around him in danger. Before they convince some people that he should never have been allowed to exist at all. Before he becomes just another twisted tale in his family's bizarre history, kept hidden for centuries within the ivy-covered walls of Gnomewood Home.
