《The Ascension Age 》Chapter 56: I Have an Idea

As soon as those two guys were defeated, Sera appeared on the top of one of the nearby trees and began to shoot down.
*Bang, bang, bang...*
"Take them!"
Altina and Aire then swapped their opponents as they turned off their Stellar Suit Arms to save on Stellar Energy. Everything happened too quickly, so the two remaining guys took some time to react. However, they could feel the danger, which immediately prompted them to give up on fighting. They simply started to run away at that instant.
Then again, one of them was the leader of a team...although he was the last member. Surprisingly, he was also at the Stellar Manipulation Level, the same as Altina. That being said, Aire and Altina didn't try to stop him. Instead, they aimed at the other guy, who was just an average member of his already defeated team. With Kymei moving to a new position, the guy had nowhere to run before his fate was ultimately sealed.
Surprisingly, the team that was wiped out was not the one who was first pincered by Aire's and the second enemy team. Instead, it was their leader, the only one who survived while everyone else, including the team who fooled him, was disqualified. 'Fuck! Even if you pay me, I won't head back there!' He quickly disappeared in the distance as he thought that.
After the guy left, Kymei appeared where Sera, Aire, and Altina were staying with the first guy's body. Without wasting any time, they began to absorb all the Stellar Energy from those people, five of them at that! By now, their reserves had so much Stellar Energy that they might be worth quite a few Stellar Crystals.
Sera didn't let her focus slip, though. "Alright, let's leave. However, we'll keep moving inside our territory to keep the land advantage."

Kymei and the others nodded as they quickly followed Sera.
Using the advantage of the terrain and Sera's tactics, Aire's group kept ambushing other groups who entered their territory nonstop. Of course, they weren't the only ones. All the teams who survived in the main area with four members also had their own strengths. That being said, very few of them were overwhelmed by the sudden change in rules. In any case, they didn't leave their territories either. Since many small fries were coming their way, they might as well stay and have their feast.
It wasn't before five hours had passed, leaving less than one hour for the mission to be over, that the main area grew silent once again. By now, those who had the confidence to try entering it had already been defeated or survived the chaos. Unfortunately, the rule was that they would lose 50% of their Stellar Energy every thirty minutes...
Back at the airship, Vaxo and Oivy smiled at the scene. "The fun time is about to begin."
Aire was nervous. He knew that the next opponents would be anything but easy. Not to mention that it didn't mean that all the easier teams had been completely wiped out. Some might still be lurking, waiting for a chance. After all, if they didn't have much Stellar Energy at the start, then there wasn't much reason for them to join the battle in the main area earlier. They could simply wait till the end and try to ambush one of the teams who survived and gain a lot of Stellar Bubble Energy.
However, it was at this moment that another message came out of the defensive bracelets, telling them, "From now on, the location of each person will be shown on the map together with the amount of energy they have equivalent in Stellar Bubbles. If you still don't have enough, you can use this information to go after everyone else's."

Altina and the others bitterly smiled after hearing this. However, the one who felt it the most was Sera. After all, most of the terrain advantage that she was using to ambush the trespassers was now gone. No, it was better to say that ambushes were completely out of the question. Everyone would be able to tell if someone else was approaching or not.
Of course, Aire's team immediately opened their maps to look at everyone's positions. However, it was then that they became surprised. That's because...there was almost no one heading in their direction! Sure, a few people were heading their way, but nothing compared to the other top teams. "What?! Why are we being ignored?"
Kymei quickly paid attention to the numbers. Eventually, he understood why. "Hahaha! Look at the amount of Stellar Bubble Energy we have. No, to be more specific, look at how much each one of us has. After that, pay attention to the other teams."
Aire and the others quickly checked the information. Sure enough, they understood what Kymei meant. "I see...to think that such a thing would happen."
At the moment, the amount of Stellar Bubble Energy Aire's team had was evenly shared between their fou members. Altina was the one with the highest amount, with a total of 105. As for the team member with the least amount, that one was Kymei, with 101. Aire had 102, while Sera had 104. That was the trick here.
"Because we shared our bubbles evenly, it would be very annoying to have to defeat all of us at once to get our Stellar Energy," Kymei explained. "However, except for two more teams, all the other top-ranked groups have gathered most of the Stellar Energy Bubbles on their leaders. Naturally, it would be a lot better to have a single person down than an entire team. Look, the top-ranked team's leader closest to us has almost 400 Stellar Bubbles alone, while his team members only have 10 or so."
Altina couldn't help but grin after hearing Kymei's explanation. Soon, she suggested, "What do you want to do? Should we also join in on the fun?"
"Would that be a good idea? It's going to be crazy everywhere else." Aire obviously didn't want to.
However, Sera's eyes shone as she looked at the map. "Hey...I have an idea."
