《My Passive Skills are Invincible!》Chapter 224: The Contract

"What are you talking about? I don't understand." Sabrina's current tone could not be described as relaxed or happy. It could even be described as extremely cold.
Mike looked straight at Sabrina and continued, "You don't have to put on an act. I'm very confident in what I'm saying."
As Mike's words fell, the atmosphere in the interrogation room dropped to a freezing point.
Obviously, Sabrina could not tolerate others knowing about her plan.
Logically speaking, this matter should only be known to her. Even her closest confidant did not know about her plan.
How could this stranger, who appeared out of nowhere, know about her plan?
Sabrina dared not to speak. She wanted to observe Mike first. However, she could not for the life of her see anything through the cloak.
On the contrary, Mike noticed Sabrina's change in expression.
He sat up straight, put his arms on the table, and said, "Don't worry, I'm not interested in the internal strife of your elven race.
"It doesn't matter to me who becomes the elven queen. I only care about my own purpose."
The elven princess was silent for a moment. She seemed to be wondering how much credibility Mike's words had.
Then, she asked a crucial question. "Then, what is your purpose?"
She had communicated with the human in front of her for so long, but she still did not know what his purpose was. This was very passive for Sabrina. She had to make sure that the human's goal did not conflict with hers.
Otherwise, her only choice was to kill him.
In fact, Sabrina really wanted to directly attack him, but alas, she did not have the confidence to kill Mike in one blow.
If this human had some unique escape method to save his life, then in order to retaliate against her attack, he would definitely tell his secret to the whole world.

At that time, whether she wanted to take the position of the elven queen or steal the Soul Stone, she would encounter great difficulties and obstacles. Therefore, she did not dare to act rashly.
Mike's thoughts were the same.
Although he had been roughly sure that Sabrina did not know the way to send him back, this was only the general idea.
No one could be sure whether Sabrina knew all the secret techniques of the elven race. Perhaps some unremarkable figure of the elf race would master this method.
As of now, he did not want to get into a conflict with the potential future elven queen.
The atmosphere became a little more delicate.
Mike smiled slightly, and his words were relaxed, "I guess you can't help me achieve my goal.
"But, you owe me a reward, so I have other requests."
Sabrina stared at Mike's body, she tried to see something, but she still could not see anything.
Helpless, Sabrina could only compromise. "What do you want? Just say it.
"It's always better to have one more friend than one more enemy, isn't it?"
"I agree with what you said." Mike smiled and leaned forward, saying something rather interesting to Sabrina, "But my request may be difficult for you to accept."
Sabrina heard this and cautiously stepped back a little to keep a distance from Mike.
"I'm warning you, you'd better not make any excessive requests." Obviously, she seemed to have misunderstood something.
Mike smiled, he then playfully replied, "I have to remind you that I'm not interested in women who are older than me. You should be hundreds of years old, right?"
Sabrina snorted and asked, "So, what exactly are your demands? Hurry up and say it." Her patience almost wornT out.

This was because she did not like the atmosphere and the direction of this conversation.
The other party, who knew her secret and seemed to have seen through her, took the initiative in the entire conversation.
However, she stayed passive, as if there was always an invisible hand that strangled her neck.
Her goal was to end this conversation as soon as possible and satisfy the other party's request. Then, she would never need to see him again.
"First, let me be clear. After I fulfill your condition, I hope that your groundless speculation can be kept in your heart forever and never to be said again."
"Are you referring to the fact that you want to use the Soul Stone to take away the elven Queen's status?" Mike replied with a hint of playfulness in his tone.
Sabrina's face finally showed a trace of anger.
"Are you provoking me?"
"WOW, lighten up. Why are you so serious?" Mike returned Sabrina's words to her. "You too mentioned that this was just 'groundless speculation,' right?"
"HMPH." Sabrina snorted and refused to dwell on this issue.
"I hope that we can sign a contract. Other than this method, I can't find any other way to trust your mouth."
Sabrina raised her right hand gently. A contract phantom appeared above the table and gently floated in the air. Simultaneously, a feather pen in the same phantom state appeared in Sabrina's hand.
She muttered as she wrote down the treaty. "After the contract is signed, both parties must never tell the content of this conversation to anyone."
She looked at Mike with displeasure and handed the feather pen in her hand over to his.
"Let's speed up the progress. You only need to fill in your request and name."
Mike took the quill from Sabrina's hand with great interest and said, "Interesting. Is this some kind of secret skill of your elf race? This is the first time I've seen it."
"The abilities of the elven race will always be beyond your imagination," Sabrina said with a condescending tone, but Mike completely ignored it.
He played with the phantom quill in his hand, obviously very curious. It clearly looked like a phantom, but it had a unique touch in his hand.
"Is this contract reliable?" Mike asked the last question.
"Do you think I would joke about such an important thing?
"Believe me, after signing the contract, you won't be willing to go against it, or something very terrible will happen to you."
Sabrina did not explain too much, but it was enough for Mike.
He nodded in satisfaction, raised his quill, and signed where Sabrina wrote down his requirements on the Phantom contract in front of him.
"After the contract is signed, Ulysses Sabrina can never hurt any centaur."
Then, he signed his name — F*ck.
Sabrina looked at the contents of the contract written by Mike, then looked at the last signature that Mike left. She suddenly stood up and slammed her right hand on the table.
"Now you're really provoking me!
"Do you really think I dare not to kill you!"

A Goblin's Blade (dropped)
He looked down the path, which was littered with many things. Things he found in abundance were such of violence, desire and gore while things he found in scarcity were such of love, friendship and glory. At the start of the path was a naive, green goblin while at the end of it... Well at the end of it stood him: the godslayer, the monster from the forest, the walking death... He had many names but none so that perfectly captured his image as well as the Mad King. Authors note: Edit: Trying to release a chapter per day, around 2-2.5k words each. An evolution story about a goblin. This is under lit-rpg but I'm focusing more on the plot/characters instead of the usual features of such stories such as the blue tables that take ages to make or the stat screens. In essence it's closer to high fantasy than lit-rpg. Much appreciated if you read the Prologue to see whether you like it or not. Cover image is "Evolution" taken from art done by WhoAmI01

Modded Skyr*m: Real Life Edition
It seems that I died while I was playing VR Skyr*m. The next thing I knew, I was standing in front of the middle-aged man who called himself The Overlord of Dremora and Dragons. He told me they were releasing Skyr*m: Real-Life Edition. However, you have to be dead first to play it, and I was chosen as a 'beta tester' of sorts. I found myself in a semi-realistic (thanks to mods) world, and I want to have fun and relax for the rest of my life, and maybe get back to Earth. There's just a small *RAWR* problem. Setting: This happens within the world in The Legend of the Fake Hero, specifically two arcs from now. About: I am writing this for fun as a side project. I intend this to be semi-interactive as I will have polls where readers can influence the book's direction. I have the final say because I believe that too many cooks in the kitchen are not a good thing. The plan is to write it in parts that are around 1-2k words. Typically around every 3 to 6 parts, they will be combined into a finalized chapter and re-edited for a smoother read. Release schedule: When I feel like it. I'll be more inclined to write if there is more interaction, both in comments and polls, towards the story. However, I will be focusing on The Legend of the Fake Hero because that is something I own entirely and enjoy. I will try to do consistent uploads. Disclaimer: This work falls under fair use as it is a partial parity, does not affect the value of the original work, is an original story within the setting (within my setting), and is not being sold. All IP belongs to their respective owners (including myself). Currently uploading on Scribble Hub and Royal Road under the same username.
