Outside the Earth's Orbit in space was Vilgax's gigantic ship.

Within the ship, spotlights highlight on three large figures: SixSix, Kraab, and a familiar Mysterious Armoured figure.

" The Audition ... Begins."

Vilgax's voice comes over in an intercom, announcing the start of their audition.

A swarm of robot drones come in to start a fight.

VROOM !

PEW ! PEW ! PEW !

BOOM !

First up is SixSix, who makes short work of most of the robot drones with expert flying and marksmanship.

SLASH !

SLASH !

BOOM !

Kraab uses his claw to dispose by hacking and slashing the last of them.

THUD !

Then a similar robot droid that Ben had fought before shows up.

FOOOOOOOM !

Tetrax jumps down on a hoverboard flying right towards it and the robot blasts him, but is hardly affected by it.

BAM !

" Impressive *Wheeze* You *Huff* are all hired."

With Vilgax impressed, he offers the reward to the hunter that retrieves the Omnitrix as well as explaining that its green glow is its unique DNA energy signal and the reason they could track it.

" Do. Not. Disappoint . Me ...."

There next destination .....

Earth.

New Mexico.

In the middle of the desert, Grandpa Max has set up on what seems to be an obstacle course for Ben using the Rustbucket's new training protocols. He as he completes the final touches he asks.

" Are you ready ? "

I just smirk.

I transform into Diamondhead.

I haven't used it yet, might as well .

" For this exercise, use some strategy."

So far in this life strategy is all I have been using.

I , however, just nod.

Max starts up the attack course.

I start with some target practice with various holograms and targets that pop out.

SHING ! SHING ! SHING !

Bullseye .

Max shouts to me .

"Ben , focus carefully."

Why would he ....

THUD !

A mechanical battering ram/swing hits min and nearly throws him off balance.

SHING ! SHING ! SHING! SHING!

I respond by firing diamond shards at it.

Bullseye.

Later in the RV, I talk shop with Grandpa about new training programs.

Then suddenly, the RV sputters and breaks down.

How ?

Its alien tech ... it's not possible ....

Oh no.

This is an omen .

Back at the obstacle course, the three bounty hunters have traced where the Omnitrix was last activated. As they explore the location and Tetrax notices a bit with a diamond shard on it.

VROOM !

SNAP !

SixSix flies up and takes it with a retractable hook, only to have it ripped off by Tetrax.

....

....

" Dhfubbgduxggb. "

Eventually SixSix backs down and speaks in a foreign alien language.

VROOM !

He then flies off.

Kraab then follows by using his four legs to burrow through the ground like the sand crap he is .

Tetrax then leaves the area walking, triggering one of Max's traps.

BOOM !

In an instant, he fires the targets with his rifle, which also destroyed the whole course as well. He flies off and drops the drone with the shard behind.

3rd POV

Ben, Gwen and Max find themselves at an abandoned mining town, called Slaterville.

According to Gwen's Intellimap program ( Improved with Grey Matter ) on her notebook, it was a town incorporated in the year 1857, after the discovery of silver. It was abandoned after the mine ran out roughly a decade later.

" I probably know nothing without you " I commented.

She flushed before turning away.

Back at the RV, Max finds the cause of the breakdown. A microchip cutting the fuel line, puncturing it.

Wait, this is something I designed but I haven't gotten to making it . It was thinking of stealth missions. [1]

Wait , time travel exists ...

Shaking my head , I suggest for his help by going alien, but Max insists on doing it himself.

With nothing to do, I decides to check out the town.

" Incase he gets into trouble, could follow him."

" In trouble ? What could harm him with the watch ? "

" You have no idea ...."

In town, Ben enters an old, abandoned equipment storage building.

" Calling Alien Petridish, Calling Alien Petridish. "

Gwen calls out to him.

While Gwen searches, A intangible passes through her and makes her chill.

" What's the matter, you look like you've seen a ghost ? "

" Heehahaha ! "

" Haha , No matter what creepy alien ,you don't scare me ." She says in annoyance.

" Oh really ...."

Just then, the ground is pushed up from something burrowing under it. Ghostfreak drags Gwen out of the way, and Kraab shows up.

Ghostfreak and Kraab confront each other.

He ignores the comment and tells Ghostfreak to hand over the Omnitrix. As he refuses he gets hit a few times, and Ghostfreak eventually turns invisible.

With Ghostfreak invisible, Kraab seems to be at a great disadvantage. Unfortunately, Kraab can actually see him and hears him, Kraab to spray an orange substance, which made his invisibility and intangibility abilities useless .

Before instantly transforming into Fourarms and begin to thrash Kraab around with Gwen firing back with the suit's weapons systems.

He moves in for the kill transforming into Diamondhead and dissecting him like the crap he is.

They flee the scene, and Tetrax is seen watching from the rafters.

Ben's POV

At the RV, Ben and Gwen detail the short battle against Kraab to Max. I still want to fight back,( There gotta be more attackers ) but Max says there's no time, having repaired to the RV. I'm little disappointed as we flee and continue on the road.

On the road, Gwen is on the lookout for other attacks right when SixSix cuts a hole in the roof of the RV to get to them.

As SixSix tries to grab me , Grandpa Max brakes hard, sending SixSix flying in front of the RV. Max then tries to run him over. It seems like the attempt works at first, but the RV stops shortly after. They take a quick look outside shows that all the tires have been severely popped. It will take a while for them to self repair.

SixSix, however, is still on the road, uninjured. Me ,Gwen and Max flee to a nearby mine .

We eventually end up at the center of the mine. With a large canyon in-between them and safety, Gwen asks what they're going to do.

Max finds a nearby lift and us the kids in it. He then activates it and jumps into it, just barely reaching it. SixSix then starts to pursues us

" We need a plan," Max comments

I got a plan

Ben transforms into Diamondhead again and go in to charge.

Attack.

I plunge off the car and grabs on SixSix, and we . plummet into the crater below.

As the lift takes Gwen and Max to safety, Diamondhead stays behind to deal with the hunters. This action does not go as planned, though as we fight , a metal ball is tossed beside them.

Ppfffffooooffff.

As we stare at it, it releases a gas that renders us unconscious. Tetrax then shows up, dragging me out of the mine and back into town.

THUD !

"AAHH ! "

In town, Tetrax tosses Diamondhead into some nearby crates, waking me up.

With Diamondhead awake, Tetrax begins to complain.

"6 billion people it could have been found by , the Omnitrix winding up on a child ! "

" Better me than any random kid with know idea of what to do ! I shout back, hoping to distract him and make him monologue.

He seems to buy.

" Indeed, I commend you for your skills and strategy, especially someone so young ..."

As he praises me ( which I appreciate ), I tries to attack him but Tetrax easily stops the attack and sends me flying as I transform again.

SHOOOM!

WHOOOSH !

THUD

THUD

THUD

However, due to his diamond hard skin my strikes, even with my pincers , it does nothing.

I zigzag back and jump into the air and transform.

SHOOOM!

As Stinkfly I shoot junk on him then transform again.

SHOOOM!

As Heatblast , I throw a fireball.

BOOM !

....

....

Of course he's still alright.

As the two continue to fight, Tetrax comments on strategy, all the while stopping every attack.

" Innovative combination."

" Effective attacks."

" Sound transformation timing. "

According to Tetrax, I would have been killed SixSix were it not for him, and that I have defeated all the hunters without a problem.

Then SixSix appears, interrupting our , what I'm being to suspect, sparing session

Outnumbering him two to one, SixSix flees while I fire at him, but my blasts are useless when he dodges.

SHOOOM!

WHOOOSH !

Eventually , I find him.

SHOOOM!

As XLR8 I draw SixSix's attention and he attempts to fire a missile at him ,I'm about to run when, Max , appearing out of f.u.c.k.i.n.g nowhere , hops on his back to stop him.

SixSix throws him off and prepares to slice through his attacker with an energy buzz saw.

This, however, provides enough of a distraction for me to hop on his back.

SHOOOM!

As Grey Matter .

Tetrax complains about the interference, but I ignores him and start to surgically pull nerve cl.u.s.ters in SixSix's armor, resulting in a haywire event.

SixSix's jet-pack fires and takes the two on a short ride, crashing through the supports for a water tower in the process. SixSix's armor then shuts down , giving me enough time to move out of the way of the falling water tower.

With the hunter defeated, Tetrax takes out a small cube and tosses it at them. The cube expands and covers them, then contracts, shrinking the hunters along with it.

' I'm soooooo making that .'

I revert back into Ben as Tetrax takes the cube.

When I stare at the Omnitrix, and he notices .

" It's in good hands."

Tetrax says .

He then gives me his hoverboard as a gift. I am confused, thinking that he needs it to get home.

Tetrax says it was selective disinformation, which Gwen translates for Ben saying, "he lied".

I knew that.

Tetrax then activates a f.u.c.k.i.n.g teleporter and disappears.

Once he's gone, Gwen asks, "why you gets all the cool alien stuff ?"

I just smiled, " It fits my style ."

" Yeah ...."

Gwen sarcastically agrees, and then covers my head in sunscreen, saying that she doesn't want his big head to get sunburned.

Bitch ....
