The very next day as soon the light started seeping trough the deep dark clouds, Jenny was suddenly standing in front of biggest problem.

She completely forgot that this river had slope that fell straight down few dozen feet. Actually it was not the slope she was worried about. Under the slope was curled up huge snake that could probably swallow them. She sighed and spread her shield.

But suddenly she heard her systems voice. "The amount of blood can be used for later potions."

Blood? She completely forgot that she needed to gather blood. Suddenly she had another thought. "Is the meat edible?"

Fresh meat can be used to be eaten or to be sold. And there is the skin and bones as well.

"Everything on this snake can be used. But you must kill her. Unfortunately it will be hard to do that. This snake has electricity and is quite strong."

" Electricity?" The stone can be used. She already had two in her crew that could use this. but by the size of the snake, this could be third level.

So she called everyone. "Everyone on stations. Electric user in front of us. Don't destoy the animal as we everything in it, including blood."

Suddenly a sound could be heard. "Blood potion finished."

Malek and Meira glanced at each other with huge smiles. "It's done!"

He was starting to get hungry and it was getting harder to control his hunger. But it was better by Jenny's words if they drink this potion when they are hungry, so he waited.

Suddenly in front of the two appeared vials with red liquid. Meira opened the vial and liquid suddenly turned into mist that enveloped her body and seeped into her pores

She was visibly stronger and became energetic. "Amazing! This is so amazing. If we could give this to others."

When Malek did the same he yelled. " Mother, our powers... my powers rose! "

She looked at him and started loudly laughing while tears started flowing down her cheeks. "The decision to follow you was not wrong. Something told me that you will help my kind. Jenny, oh Jenny. I plead at you, help our Queen. Please. Can we have one more... Just one more... "

Jenny was startled. She never saw her with such expression. She was not only said, she was deeply anxious. "What is it?"

"Our Queen is in danger of being destroyed by my own clan as they hope I'll become next Queen. But they are fools. Our Queen is not bad. We lived off animals for thousands of years and never had problems. But few of my kind got taste of human blood few centuries ago when there was death everywhere. At that time they drank blood from people that just died and didn't kill them. Humans were dying like flies from some sickness that didn't do any harm to us. After tasting human blood once they couldn't go back to animal blood." She shook her head and explained further.

"I woke up at that time from sleep and was really hungry. My husband brought me blood that tasted like anything else. I drunk it and realized after coming out of blood stupor that he killed humans to gather that blood. It was do tasty that I wanted more, I admit. But I could hear ancient call of our queen to stop. Most of us stopped, but some didn't. What we didn't know at that time that as we drank human blood, her powers started waning as she lived from our energy. What those stupid idiots didn't know is that once she dies, we will cease to exist. Humans were aware of us and gave us different option. They give blood willingly and with that her ancient blood won't die. With this potion she can regain some strength. Please, help her."

Jenny became silent as she spoke to her system. "Is there way to help her queen?"

"Yes. But the blood potion for her will need lots of blood." System explained. "Half million liter of blood. That snake down there has five hundred fifty liter blood. Human body has between four and six liter of blood. To save her you will need to kill rest of humans or fight with big animals."

Jenny pressed her lips. "Of course I won't kill rest of humans. Then is it possible to take blood from animals, without killing them every time?"

She didn't mind attacking those that want to kill her, but she definitely didn't feel like killing anyone or anything on purpose.

Meira suddenly saw her smiling and her eyes brightened up. There is hope. Seeing his mother being so long under pressure because the secret not many knew, Malek was happy as he saw that there is possible hope.

Jenny glanced at them then pointed at the snake. "That creature down has fourth level electric power. We have two choices, knocking it out and getting it's blood, but leaving it alive or killing it. You all make the decision."

Meira knew they needed blood, but she is like that person. She hated unneeded killing if possible. Even Lathe hated killing animals after taking blood. She would just seal the wounds and let animal go.

Everyone in this place knew her stance so the choice was same. Not kill.

But taking blood from it means they have to knock it out and that is when Malek finally got his chance.
