They were far inside the city. By now they already killed a thousand zombies.

Steven was astonished as she gave him a backpack as well and just directly placed the stones inside.

She let him use his powers to kill zombies and would quickly help out by extraction. Not even complaining the two kids swiftly helped as well.

They could feel strong power fluctuations coming from humongous thing that strangely didn't dig deep into the ground then freely was on top.

The only proof that it fell, was mould under it that was just one or two feet deep and destruction of all the buildings in its surrounding only could be seen.

The impact caused outside the city to brake earth and turn nature in the dust, but the city itself had broken buildings but not all of them. Just those buildings in the closer range were completely broken.

She enhanced shield as she saw children paling more and more.

"This one, I fear its too strong for any of you."

"Is this how the others felt when you showed them the black crystal?" Kala asked and sighed in relief as the shield became enhanced.

Jenny nodded.

"The power users faint even from the small grain of the black crystal, then think how devastating it is for those that are completely powerless. I fear that if you kids near even the shield won't hold the radiation and vibration."

Jacob suddenly had a premonition. "You are going out?"

He could see her nod a bit.

"Somehow to me, it's comfortable. Maybe it is true. Some things to me are much different."

"I had a big brother that died because he took in too much power. This thing is too big and too strong."

Her hand went to his hair and she patted him softly.

"I'm not greedy. I will see how much it affects me. If I feel the danger I will turn and come back. I still want to live for a long time. Thank you for your care."

She patted him one more time, added another layer of protection and slowly walked to a thing that had the size of a villa.

"System, do I gain anything by touching this thing?"

"Do you feel any discomfort around it? Usually, the body can tell you if you can handle it or not."

"No, I feel quite comfortable around it."

"That means that you can handle energy from the whole thing. If you survive after ingraining the energy into your body. Let's talk after that."

Jenny touched carefully the thing but suddenly a strange thing happened. The energy ball s.u.c.k.e.d her inside and astonished her.

"Uhm. This is weird. System, what is going on?"

"He can't answer."

A young voice came from far away corner.

Jenny walked closer and saw a child that looked quite strange. "Are you from another planet?"

"Yes. I am Kah. What is your name?" The voice belonged to a tall creature that floated around and touched this and that with one of his tentacles.

"I'm Jenny. Tell me what happened?"

"Like you see I tell onto your planet. Its seems my ship is now waste. I will give you its main core. I can't use it anyway. After that, I'll just use the easier way. I'll transport back home. Mom will kill me after she finds out I wasted her new vehicle. Anyway, inside these vehicles systems do not work. I got to go now. Here is the main core. Enjoy it."

The core was huge and as soon the creature took it out the mid of ship, the outer wall disappeared and opened sight to a woman that stood there perplexed with a huge black stone in front of her.

"Touch it. This is the thing you need."

Jenny slowly pressed her hands onto the black power stone and the creature disappeared.

"System?"

"This was something I didn't expect. Good, it had transportation points."

"What is it and where did it come from?"

"Kalah planet. Many million human light-years away. That child almost got stuck here. Their kind survived the change and evolved."

Jenny nodded but then stopped. "If humans evolve, will they look like that?"

"How should I know that. Each kind looks different after evolution." The system was not able to predict things.

Jenny thought about their evolution and shrugged. What kind of form their next evolution will have is anyway not in her hands. "Tell me about black crystals. What are they and why do I feel like wanting yo eat it like candy again?"

It was like the first time she tasted the power stones. She wanted to eat it. So badly.

"Then do that. Your body is telling you what to do."

Actually, children saw some of the things happening and then saw her with a big stone in her hand as soon that creature disappeared. She stared at the stone in her hands for a while and then did something they didn't expect.

She patted her belly and was about to go to them when she suddenly stopped. A warm feeling enveloped her and she blinked at surprise at the two children that had mouth wide agape. What is it now?

''System, what is my new ability?''There must be something good.

''No new ability.'' His voice was completely calm.

She literally froze then started laughing. ''Oh well. Then at least I recharged my batteries as it seems.''

''No new ability, but strengthened the old one. You recharged a bit of energy but actually is your power just became stronger. Now you can use your shield on bigger spaces and do more things with it.'' Systems voice explained but didn't give her any details. ''And your space became bigger.''

''Space?'' Her face became bright and her green eyes shone happily. ''How much bigger?''

The screen opened and she saw her stuff standing only on corners of each space and she was exhilarated. She went closer to the kids and smiled brightly. ''I got few extras with this crystal.''

''You do indeed.'' Jacob looked behind her and she turned around and didn't see anything unusual

''What is it?'' Now she was truly curious.

''System, show her her own countenance.'' Jacob almost started laughing when she opened her mouth speechlessly. Yep, they were feeling the same way.

Her clothes changed from normal protection gear into a strange-looking suit. And it was tight... Her expression changed and she flatly stared at the screen. ''Can I change the gear appearance? It's ugly...''

Literally ugly.

Kala, Jacob and Steven just stood there and started snickering. Even in their eyes, that suit was seriously ugly. The colour was neon green, wide shoulders tight around her stomach and looking at the h.i.p.s like riding outfit. the shoes topped everything with neon pink shoes. More like a clown than protection suit.

''Yes. Here is the list of the possible suits.'' The warrior protection from before was and free options and this one, but all other suits were quite pricey. Jenny just blinked and saw an amazing suit that she found amazing. But when she saw the price she almost fainted. ''I can buy a bunch of food for this. No thank you. I'll just use the basic suit from before.''

As she spoke to system per her mind no one could hear her talk. Luckily she just changed back to the basic suit and they sigh in relief. That other suit was truly... way too flashy.

Steven was silent for a moment and then spoke. ''Miss Jenny, I am not as special as you are, but I know that there must be many that would do anything try to steal this ability form you.''

Jenny patted his head while System virtually rolled his eyes. ''System can't be stolen.''

''I understand. I will be careful. What do you plan to do in the future?'' She was curious about this silent child. Jacob started suddenly chuckling so she looked at him. ''What is it?''

''Kindergarten?'' He pointed at himself, Kala and Steven.

She had to laugh as well and poked his forehead. ''You and your ideas. I do not gather children to be their babysitter, then gather future generation Guardians. Steven has to choose himself what he wants with the future. I am taking only willing kids.''

Steven just now realized that she had absolutely no resemblance to the two children. While she had long black hair and green eyes, Jacob was similar to her but had grey eyes while Kala had only similar green eyes but blonde hair. But their face structure and disposition showed that they can't is related. Still, somehow they were fitting together.
