Back at the city Jenny held her head and started highting a huge headache that was coming to her in waves. no matter how much medicine they gave her she just had that headache more and more.

Curled in bed from the pain she started sweating. People came in and out and tried everything but it just got worse. Finally, she had it enough.

''Mike!'' She knew he was nearby even tho she was almost blind from all the pain. ''Help me go home. I need to be alone. Noise is making my headache even worse. Quickly. I need to be alone. Completely alone.''

Mike looked at her being curled in pain and his eyebrows furrowed. Mina came to his side and nodded. ''I think it's for the best. She was exhausted in the last few days. And our people now have enough weapons. We have enough food and no need to go anywhere our. Just until she doesn't get better.''

Jenny tried to look her way. ''Mina. I need to go out. I do not want, but I must definitely do that. There are so many things we need to take in consideration. The weather is changing. I can feel that many things will change after the next rain. The food outside needs to be transplanted. I can feel which has the nutritional value and which not. Somehow I think I got new powers as well.''

She held her head but still, tried to s tan dup. ''We need to repair the waterworks as long we can. And transplant as many trees as we can inside the city walls. What else? Ugh... I had more ideas, but pain... I think I can get rd of it in a couple of days. But those couple days no one, literally no one should come near me, call me or bother me. Please. I need to handle this alone. No one can help me. Absolutely no one.''

Mike clenched his fists as he saw big drops of sweat sliding her forehead and falling on her clothes. ''I know, but still...'' He could see her trying to stand up but she fell back on the bed.

He jumped to help her and heard her weakly whispering. Take me back to my home. I need to concentrate. Somehow this won't get better anytime soon I fear if I don't handle this power well.''

All he was thinking so far as she was so strong and reliable. they all got used to relying on her, even tho she warned them so many times. She maybe has those powers but what will happen if she dies for overusing them?

Mina saw his expression changing swiftly and suddenly felt a strange feeling rising in her heart. Unwillingness and anger. Seeing these two people together she felt angry and jealous. Yes, jealousy.

She knew that Jenny had absolutely no feelings for Mike, but love is unreasonable and selfish. When she saw his worried and caring look on his face were sent to Jenny, she couldn't handle it. Her heart jumped wildly as he carefully held her in his arms and then personally took her to her rooms. He even tucked her into bed and planted a small kiss on her forehead.

The jealousy in her burned wildly but then a strange thing happened. The two people looked at each other and smiled.

''Jenny,'' He held her cheeks softly and pinched them just a bit.''...don't you dare to worry about the two of us. We are your family and we will be until the end. I have no sisters and since the first moment, I liked you. Race... means nothing in my eyes. Little sister, be good and get healthy again. We all love you. Ok?''

jenny held his hand and smiled. ''I know. Thank you... brother.'' With a big smile, she closed her eyes and fell asleep.

Mike slowly backed off and in a comical way tried to tiptoe and walk away while dragging Mina with him. Outside he pinched her cheeks and sighed. ''That little fool just hates saying no. She needs to become more hardheaded if she wants to survive. her heart is too soft. Mina, how can we protect her, hm?''

But when he turned his eyes he saw Mina completely lost in her thoughts while her eyes were like two waterfalls as a stream of water came out of them. He tried to make fun of her a bit. ''Ohhh, I know we have a problem with waterworks, but we do not need flood, my dear.'' He kissed her wet cheeks and felt saltiness on his tongue.

She suddenly held him around his waist and started crying. ''I am so mean. How can I be so mean? Jenny is my best friend and sister.I... I felt for a moment jealous as you were so nice to her. I have no idea what came up with me. Ahhhhh... will she forgive me....ahhhhh.'' Her crying words completely stunned him.

But she was stunned by his next words. ''Wait, you just felt jealousy now? Not before?''

She nodded with a confused expression. ''When else. you were holding her so tightly and was worried about her... I just felt pain seeing this. Wait, what is wrong with your expression? Why are you looking at me so weirdly?''

Mike shook his head and started laughing. ''All this time I was worried you just had simple emotions of closeness to me because of the apocalypse. I waited for a moment that you become jealous, but you seemingly didn't care so I feard that you had absolutely no real love for me.''

She literally wanted to punch his face. ''Idiot. Jenny is my best friend and I know her too well. Even if you had ten heads and a hundred sweet mouths she would never be with you just because of me. And if you broke up with me she would have despised you. That how Jenny handled all our ex. You never had a chance. But today seeing you two being this close I just felt this unreasonable emotion. I am a fool.''

He chuckled while the door slowly opened and tiered face peeked at them. ''Yo, you two lovebirds. I said peace and quiet! Take your idiotic love somewhere else. And Mina... I love you too. Now go. Two fools, fooling around another fool's house...'' She closed the door while mumbling, leaving two stunned people outside.

Mina and Mike looked at each other and started laughing until a loud yell could be heard from inside. ''Scram! I need my peace!!! Go go go...''

They held their hands and rushed away, while Jenny held her head and laughed on window. ''those two fools. Talking can help get rid of misunderstandings.''
