Chapter 81
ERIKA LEIGH PARLAM
I blinked a couple of times as my vision was a little bit blurry; vivid.
Despite the vividness, I could figure Andy hovering down, smiling at me.
"Gosh, you're even in my dreams." I uttered.
I shifted my body to a more comfortable position.
I smiled.
I'm somewhat sleeping on her lap as she brushed my hair gently.
'Such dream'
Then my vision became clearer and clearer, I sprung myself to sit and knit my brows at her.
The idiot just smiled wryly.
I hid my face behind my palms for a while hiding my puffy eyes.
"What time is it?" I asked sounding mad.
I noticed it's still dark outside from the window.
"Two in the morning." She answered.
"How long have you been home?" I grumpily asked but she did not answer me anymore.
She got up and headed to the bedroom.
'What the…'
It made me more mad.
She paused by the door.
"Come over here, so you can sleep comfortably."
Then she made herself in and shut the door behind her.
'That's it?'
I felt like my chest would burst from anger and I felt like crying again.
I stayed seated for a while.
Again, I was hurt by expecting her to comfort me or say sorry at the least.
'Was I wrong?'
Well, I have only myself to blame for expecting again.
'Damn'
"Love…" Andy called.
She just poke her head out from the partly opened door, gesturing me to come over… then she shut the door again.
'What's with her?'
I heavily lifted my body to stand and headed to the bedroom. I turned the knob lifelessly then I stepped into darkness.
I tried to push the switched by the wall but nothing happened.
"Love…" I called as I took a step forward despite the darkness.
A small bulb or candle, I can't figure what it was, lighted on the floor just right on my foot at both sides.

It illuminated my path just enough.
I took another step and another light turned on.
My brows met.
Then I took another step and it made all the lights on, creating a path for me to tread.
I gasped in awe.
My heart begun to pound and my vision started to adjust with the darkness around.
Just as I took another step, a curtain opposite me parted, letting the light from outside to add colors in the room.
There I saw Andy standing from a distance. I could only see half of her as she was against the light but despite that, I could tell how the way she smiled.
It flutters my heart.
I begun to bit my lower lip as butterflies started to run wild in my stomach.
By then, a music begun to play. No lyrics in it, just melody; rhythm.
Also, a faint light started to light up the room, more on a dim light enough to bring the mood to something romantic.
'Ayieee'
I also wandered my gaze around, as my vision fully adjusted; balloons high up in the ceiling in red and white, a couple of scented candles and my gosh, I was walking on rose petals all the while.
'I didn't notice that.'
I'm getting goosebumps really and my hands begun to shake in excitement.
I made my way to Andy with teary eyes.
'I felt sorry for the rose petals I stepped on the way though.'
'Gosh'
When I'm just an arm's length from her she reached out her hand which I took gladly.
We stood still, her other arm tucked behind her back. We're both smiling but I felt like melting. I could tell how flustered I was as I felt my blood ran up to my cheeks at that moment.
"I know you've got a lot say." Andy begun.
"I know how much of frustration and disappointment I've caused you Love."

"Especially today or yesterday." She curved a faint smile.
"Can I ask you to just let me lead from here on?" She asked, more on a plea.
"You can shout or hit me after."
"Just let me lead from here on."
I have mixed emotion at that moment, I can't even utter a word so I just nodded.
She smiled, a gleamer of tear also were forming in her eyes.
She handed me a single rose.
'Wow'
'I'm used to bouquet's though but… but I felt more happier with this one.
Andy inhaled deeply.
"Whenever I look at you… and you looking at me like this, I forget everything I was going to say."
I let out a small laugh with that. She's looking shy again.
'How cute'
She held my hand as if she cradled a little kitten in her palm and drew me close enough that I could smell the scent of her perfume.
'The one that I always love'
"I'm singing again the words I fail to say as we dance while I'm at it."
'Gosh'
She winked.
I'm going deaf at the sound of my heart pounding.
Then another melody played, I don't know how she did that but I don't want to know either ways. I don't want to ruin the mystery.
She then eased me into a slow dance, guiding me across the even floors as she sung.
[Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh
Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh]
She looked me in the eyes like I'm the only one that matters.
[Full moon, bedroom, stars in your eyes
Last night, the first time that I realized
The glow between us felt so right]
'Damn'
'She always knew what to sing.'
[We sat on the edge of the bed and you said
"I never knew that I could feel this way"
Love today can be so difficult
But what we have I know is different
'Cause when I'm with you the world stops turning...]
My tears finally fell down right there and I bit my lower lip to suppress a sob.
'Love today can be so difficult…'
'But yes, what we have I know is different.'
Andy held my head closer to her heart by then with that hand in my waist awhile back.
[Could I love you any more?
Could I love you any more?
Could I love you any more?]
'Damn'
My shoulder begun to shake, I'm really happy that I'm crying in joy.
She pulled away a little and brought back her hand in my waist; looked me straight in the eye again as we dance in the rhythm.
[Sunrise, time flies, feels like a dream
Being close, inhaling, hard to believe…
Seven billion people in the world
Finding you is like a miracle
Only this wonder remains...]
There I cried again, my throat begun to ran dry.
'Seven billion people in the world…'
'Damnit'
'Yes, yes, finding you is like a miracle.'
My Andy, she's the sweetest person I've ever known.
[Could I love you any more?
Could I love you any more?
Could I love you any more?]
[Softly, slowly
LOVE UNFOLDING
Could this love be true?...]
And I really lost it in there, we stopped dancing as I was already sobbing in her chest right that moment.
'It's so good to be loved'

Author's Note:
Hey guys, you see this chapter Title is the same of that with this Novel's Title.
That time (quarantine), when I decided to write this story, I was having a hard time deciding about the title.
It was during that time when I was listening to one of my playlists , Jason Mraz'. (All my playlists were his hahaha) that I got this story's title.
I have this chapter's scenario from the start and I'm just so happy that I finally able to write it now ...
I could say that this chapter is the 'heart' of this novel... hehehe
