Chapter 34

Several days passed.

Their internship has also started. Though both Rina and Andy works at vL, they seldom see each other since they were assigned in different departments.

Also, Andy thought that this internship schedule is a good chance for her not to see Erika for a while.

She plans to test herself and to sort out her mind on the burden she's been carrying for a while now but … but all that has gone array.

After a week of their internship, Erika has been spending time with her to eat dinner; like everyday.

The girl just suddenly called her to eat dinner once. Then the day after, then another, until it became a given that they'll meet to eat dinner outside every single day.

It's not like Andy hates it. In fact she loves it but… but her mind says something otherwise and it frustrates her.

"Hey, you're spacing out again."

She was with Donna in a café. She just wryly smiled.

"You can tell me, don't just keep it to yourself."

Donna knew her friend too well. To her, Andy is an open book. And it upsets her that Andy is not sharing her burdens to her. Well, is she even allowed to feel upset?

Donna was panting as she ran her way to Andy's apartment one evening. She just received a call from Rina inquiring why did Andy took a leave of absence for three days excluding her absence three days prior.

She did not have communication with Andy on those days because, she too was busy in her internship and so she doesn't have any idea about it.

Erika too called her, that she can't reach Andy on her phone. She begun to feel uneasy as she remembered the state of her friend from the previous days, fear struck her.

So she called Kevin and tried to spoke calmly and to not sound worried as possible but the man said Andy isn't home.

Reaching the apartment, no one open the door as she consecutively press the door bell.

She can't think of a place her friend could ever be but in there. Her hands begun to tremble. She also tried to input possible passwords Andy uses and to her relief the door unlocked.

The room was dark as she entered. She turned on the lights and looked around but no Andy in sight. She went to the balcony as it was open but no one's around there. She closed it before heading her way to the bedroom.

Again, the room was dark. She turned on the light and a slow gasp of air escape from her lungs as soon as her eyes landed on her friend.

She froze but her tears did not.

Tears ran down her cheeks at the sight of her friend lying on the floor.
