Samantha Lykos-Adamos' POV

I was nervous, I tell you that. There, I said it. I never told this anyone so don't tell the others what I felt right now. We were in the car as Zack was driving to the community neighborhood. He took my hand and he kissed it.

"It's alright. We will get through this. If Sebastian was to be mad, it should be directed to me. I made you run to me," Zack said as he was gripping the hand and rested it on his toned thigh that I have known for the last few days. I think I would never be enough to touch him now.

"Looks like you wanted to do something else than facing your brother," Zack said with amusement before I was looking at his face. His blue eyes were sparkling before I rolled my eyes. I don't think Karisa noticed that my eyes were red but I don't care now.

We had arrived at our destination as we got out of the car and I was staring at the big doors that we will go through after this.

"It's alright, my love. I will be beside you all the way," Zack said before he took my hand and we were walking toward the door before the door opened and all the pack members were staring at us. It was silent until I saw my brother was coming at us.

"You son of a bitch!"

Sebastian was punching Zack and he allowed him to get off some steam. I was looking around us as we were being the center of attention right now. I went to stop Sebastian from hurting my mate even though I know Zack could just defend himself.

"Brother, stop. He did not harm me. He's my mate," I said before Sebastian stopped and he was staring at me before he looked at Zack.

"What?" He asked. I think he needs to get some cotton pad and emptied his ear for his listening was damaged now.

"Can we talk this outside?" I said before Zack was standing beside me. I was wrapping my arm around Zack's waist before Sebastian was coming at me. But he was stopped by Arthur, Zack's brother.

"I think we can settle this the easy way, Ultima," Arthur said before Sebastian was looking around us. We had drawn quite an attention. And I saw the real bride and groom were staring at us.

"I think we should talk outside," I said as Arthur was asking for Caleb's permission. The Alpha nodded before he was talking to the audience and we were out of the building.

"Where have you been and why you did not tell me anything?" Sebastian asked me as Zack was talking to Arthur. I saw that Arthur was mad but it was his brother, so he did not go crazy or something as he trained with some of the pack warriors.

"I don't want to talk about it," I said before Sebastian was scoffing at me.

"And you think showing up here unannounced would be a great idea. Yeah, I think you nailed that one, little sister," Sebastian said as I turned sharply at him. How dare he called me a little sister again! I told him I don't like that nickname.

"So, are you going to tell me or not? Of why are you disappearing in the middle of the night and with that slacker as well?" Sebastian said before I was narrowing my eyes at him. I think he can sense the anger that was building up inside me. Sure, you can insult me, but never my mate.

EVER!

"You do not call him that," I said through my gritted teeth.

"What? Slacker? Of course, I will call him that, he was nothing but a—" he did not finish his sentence as I was on top of him on the ground, gripping his throat that I would easily wound someone that threatened me.

My mate.

"Sam, stop. It's alright," Zack said as I was turning to look at him. He was offering me his hand before I turned to look at Sebastian. He did not bat an eyelash at us. I loosened my grip and stood up as I took Zack's hand and I was standing next to him.

"You wanted to kill me just for him?" Sebastian asked me as Arthur was helping him to get up. He shook Arthur off when he stood on his feet. Sometimes, I think my brother has more pride in him that he was admitting.

"Yes. I know you wouldn't understand this but believe me when you find your mate, you will feel it as well," I said as I was looking at Sebastian. He huffed.

"I'm 25 years old now. You think I might have a chance for it now?"

"Why not? I found my mate when I am 25 years old. So, it was never a question for it," Arthur chided in before Sebastian was looking at him.

"Not helping," he mumbled before he turned to look at me and my husband, Zack. He sighed as he was shaking my head.

"I'm sorry. I just…I cannot accept him…yet. Maybe some alone time will help me," Sebastian said as he was retreating to the woods.

"Brother, where are you going?" I asked before Sebastian turned to look at me. He smiled weakly before he took off, leaving us with only dust from him.

"It's alright, sweet. I think I know what was going on with him." Zack whispered to me as I turned to look at him.

"What do you mean?" I asked. Zack smiled before he kissed my forehead.

"I think you just have to wait and see," he said. I scoffed at him as I hated it when people were not telling me the whole truth. If you want to spill the tea, just spill it all.

'Now, about us…' Zack said before we were facing the trio, Alpha, Beta, and Gamma. Delta was not here as Damien was having so much fun with his reception and I think I would like that, not having Damien to tell our stories to the younger generation.

"So, care to share?" Caleb asked us as I was looking at Zack. He took a deep breath and stepped forward.

Zack Adamos-Lykos' POV

"It was my fault. I have been lurking in the shadows when Sam was around. I did not know at the time that she was my mate but then we were at the Folk Festival and …everything just fell into pieces," I said as I was looking at Arthur, the only person that I just told that when Sebastian was around.

"And you are willing to be his mate, Sam?" Caleb asked her as she nodded. I was relieved to see that she would agree with our mating now.

"I know why Zack went away but I was afraid to tell you guys at the moment. I have rejected Zack as my mate," Zack squeezed my hand before I continued, "but I know I will never have a chance like this again. So, I went to see him in the forest and we…you know," Sam said as she was still shy to tell that we have mated and rutted like bunnies in my cave.

Caleb was looking at Xavier and Arthur. They were having some kind of mind link conversation before Caleb nodded at us.

"Well, I think you guys deserved some happy ending so I might suggest going home and cleaned up. You looked like you haven't been showered in weeks," Caleb said before the others snickered. I can sense that Sam was embarrassed that we were wearing our dirty clothes.

No wonder the priest wanted the ceremony to be over with ASAP.

I was smiling sheepishly before the trio sent us away and I think I have the perfect idea to end our day together now. So, I took Sam and we were out of there.

"Where are we going?" She asked as we were running to the house that I have been waiting to get my mate inside the house. I have been waiting for too long that I hope it was still intact with everything.

"Since the Alpha said that we should get clean up, I thought it would be fun to have a bubble bath together," I said before I was smirking at her, and Sam was glaring at me.

"Not helping at all," Sam said but I just laughed it off.

We were inside the house as I unlocked the door and Samantha was looking around. She was mesmerized by the decoration and the layout of the house. I felt proud of my hard work for the last 5 years.

"Since when did you started to build this?" Sam asked me as I was looking around. I chuckled before I was gripping her waist and I was moving her into the master bedroom. The cottage has 5 bedrooms including a master and 3 bathrooms. I was hoping to have a big family but right now, I just wanted to enjoy my mate.

"So, what do you think?" I asked as Sam turned to look at me when we were in the bathroom and I was stripping in front of her.

"Well, it could get better but I like it just fine," she said as she was staring at my naked body before I was removing her clothes as well.

"I'm worried about Sebastian," she said before I stared into her grey orbs. I kissed her.

"Do not worry. He will come around," I said as Sam arched her eyebrow.

"How do you know?"

I chuckled before we were inside the bathtub as the water was filling in. I was taking my time to clean her. I don't tell her what was happening with Sebastian but I think it will be best for him to solve it out himself.

Besides, he has more strength in him than he admitted.

But that was for another story. Right now, I wanted to spend my time with my mate and maybe forget about the shenanigans that were happening.

But to be honest, who forgot about it?
