《Shadow Pack Stories [Completed]》Chapter 3: The Tour Guide

Anika Regio's POV
I took in the fresh air as I was looking at the airport that I just landed in Cyprus. It was nice and all I can see was the exotic people of this island. I felt like I was out of the place.
"Well, I think this is the best adventure that I will be having fun," I said before I went to the line to look for the tour guide that I will be stuck with for fortnight. I hope he did not know who I was.
I walked to the exit line as I was looking for any sign for one 'Anika Regio' but I think I was not that important because I don't see it. I sighed before I went out of the airport and I was looking for a taxi to carry me to Paphos.
One problem: I don't speak Greek or French. I hope they understand English.
As I was walking to the taxi parking, I was looking at my phone as I was going there. I don't know why I did that but it was dangerous. Then, it hit me.
"Ow!" I said as I was falling backward before huge arms were wrapping their arms around me. I closed my eyes but the warmth from the contact of the stranger was nice and I wanted to stay here forever. When I opened my eyes, I know why.
His grey orbs were focused on me as I gasped. My breath caught in my mouth before the sunlight was capturing the tint of blond in his brunette hair. He was a Greek God because I never encountered any male model like him before.
"Are you alright?" He asked in English. I think he knows that I was not from the locals. I was a redhead with uncanny violet eyes. My skin was fair compared to his tan skin. I blinked a few times before I smiled and get out of his arms.

I missed his arms already. Wait, what?
I turned to look at him as I was smiling at him. I hoped I don't lose my face with that awkward encounter. Thank God, Sasha or the paparazzi were not around.
"Yes, I'm alright. Thank you for saving me," I said before I saw the sign that he was holding as it stayed on the ground.
'Anika Regio'
I turned to look at him as he was looking at me. I saw that his stormy grey eyes were somehow focused on me and I felt some heat in them. I don't know why but he was staring intensely at me. But I was not discomforted by that attention.
"So, are you a tour guide as you were holding a sign for one 'Anika Regio'" I asked him as he turned to look at the sign on the floor.
"Oh, yeah. I was supposed to be there when she arrived but I was late because of the traffic. I hope she was not angry for my late service and leave a bad review," he talked as if we were great friends. And his voice was so addictive that I wanted to hear again.
"Well, you're in luck. I'm Anika Regio. Nice to meet you. By the way, I won't leave a bad review since you made up for your tardiness by saving me of not falling to the floor," I said as I was smiling at him.
He turned to look at me as he was blinking a few times. Maybe he did not expect me to be the one that he was waiting for.
"Oh, nice to meet you, Anika. I'm Damien, your tour guide for the next 2 weeks," Damien said as he flashed his white smile. His canine teeth were a little longer but I think it looked good on him. Like a wolf or something.
I smiled at him as I was looking at him. Then I held out my hand and he took it. Electric ran through my veins at the contact but he did not feel it because his smile remained while I was being heated in place that I don't know I have before.

"Shall we get going? There will be less traffic if we move now," Damien said as he released my hand and went to the car that he parked. I did not bring a lot but still, he could have done something to offer to carry my luggage or something.
I think he was an arrogant man.
I scoffed as I cannot believe why I felt this way to this guy. I wanted his touch and his eyes on me but I think I might be hoping too much. I sighed before we stopped in front of the lousiest van that I ever saw before.
I blinked a few times. I read his review that he was a very good tour guide and all but all I've seen until now was tardiness and lousy van. I smiled as Damien opened the door and he took my luggage to the trunk.
Damien Laskaris' POV
Control, Damien, Control.
I took a deep breath as I was looking at the rearview mirror of the sleeping angel in the van. I cannot think of anything else but her touch and hand. It was insane and when I looked into her uncanny violet eyes, my wolf howled inside me.
'Mine,'
I was startled to hear that claim from my wolf as I have predicted that at 25 years old, I was hopeless in searching for mates. And here she was, sleeping at the back seat of the van that I know was not good enough for my mate.
I gripped the steering wheels even more. How come I will be so stupid? I never thought that my mate would be an outsider, let alone one of my clients. And now, I don't think I can bring her to that horrible place that they called the hotel.
I wanted her to be by my side, forever and always.
I felt my canines were growing and my eyes were changing. I stopped at the traffic light and I took a deep breath as I closed my eyes.
'Down, boy, down,'
'Mine, make her ours,' my wolf purred as I can smell the sweet scent that was hers. I think it was black currant. I think they were my new favorite now. I opened my eyes and the light was green. I shifted and we moved toward the Paphos' small community. It was within the pack territory but I don't think that locals would ever leave to go play into the forest. But I doubt it will never happen.
One of these days, I bet one of them will be going into the forest and get caught.
I smiled as I wonder who would be next to get shackled by the legs. I mean, Alpha Caleb was happily married to his Luna, Marina with their triplets. Then, Xavier was happy now that he was on the island, helping Caleb with the missing case of Zack, the Omega of the pack.
He was also the half brother of Arthur Adamos, the Gamma of the pack, or as I would like to call him my best friend. He was the one that trained the pack warriors. You don't want to mess with that guy.
And he was married to Xavier's sister, Diana and they have their daughter as well. As far as I heard, Xavier got his mate pregnant as well. A little Italian blonde that was an English professor at the University of Cyprus.
I was looking at the familiar road of my community town before I saw that Anika was gawking at everything that she saw. She was like a child that got her Christmas present early.
And I think I wanted to keep that smile on her face forever.

Beyond Floating
Muse thought her life had ended twenty years ago because, well, it had. Existing aimlessly for two decades as a ghost, she finds herself yanked along in a rip-tide of strange events. Thrust unwittingly into the midst of a group of paranormal hitmen-for-hire led by a man named Isaac. Michael, a normally rational and righteous holy soldier of God, succumbs to revenge and hatred, sacrificing everything in the fight to destroy Isaac and everyone who associates with him. Muse, by virtue of her inadvertent association with Isaac, is on that list. This is actually my first 'finished' fiction that I've ever written, which I completed about 8 years ago. I dug it up recently and I'm posting it as I thought people here might get a kick out of it. So, take that for what you will. Chapters will be released daily at 6:00pm EST.

A Gray and Grey world
What if adventurers are not as they seemed. In the tales of old, adventurers were the ones who vanquished the demons and beasts from the land, the ones who sealed the great evil away, the ones who saved the world from destruction and kept peace within the lands. But, what if that wasn't really what happened? What if adventurers are selfish, narcissicistic, and- depending on who you ask- evil. What if they weren't the paragons of good that their history books show. As they say, it is the victors that write history. In this world, this broken world, the true nature of adventurers will be told, unveiled to the masses. In this world, where history has yet to be written, the true heroes will be shown. Or- at least, that's what should've happened. But then again- heroes, villains-... everything is relative to the one who sees it. Everything changes depending on who's perspective... Perhaps the heroes of this story- may not be the heroes that you might think. Author : Hello everyone! I just want you all to know that this is a first time story. The Struggles of Dating a Demon [Completed]
Mabel's boss dabbled in awfully questionable business for the owner of an herb store, and she never blinked when he had suspicious-looking visitors. On one particular Sunday, though, Mabel couldn't help but watch the man leaving Herman's office with a critical eye. It wasn't his impressive height, dark eyes, or shaggy hair that kept her curiosity piqued.Instead, it was the way the shadows seemed to collect around him, dancing under his feet as he walked and vanishing abruptly as soon as the door shut behind him. *****"Do not call me 'Death,' Little One." He reached a hand down to help her up, but Mabel swatted it away, standing on her own and scowling. "Don't call me 'Little One,' Death." She fired back, crossing her arms and straightening her back to look taller. "And, besides, you're the one who told me your name was Death, so what else am I supposed to call you?" The raspy growl that rolled from his throat didn't sound anything like a chuckle, but the slight smile on his face told her otherwise. "Aleron." ******He brings death to those deemed wicked, but sees her as an angel and vows that nothing will harm her under his watch.Highest Ranks: #1 in Littleone 8/7/2019#1 in Mystical 8/25/20; 9/2/20; 9/11/20; 6/13/21#1 in Mythical 9/25/20#1 in Devil 5/16/21#1 in Heaven 5/20/21#4 in Paranormal 8/25/20#1 in demon 8/7/22
