《Shadow Pack Stories [Completed]》Chapter 6: The Family

Arthur Adamos' POV
I was running toward the packhouse from the training ground when Damien came to bear news. How did he know? I don't want to know it. Maybe Sebastian, Caleb, or Xavier asked him to get me to talk to my brother.
Half but still he's family.
I was walking up the front door before I was looking for the infirmary. I can sense there were a few people in the room before I was making my way to the center of it all, the unconscious man.
"Ah, it's good to see that you're finally able to join us," Sebastian, while being his sarcastic self, was pulling me to sit in front of the young man that was younger than me.
4 years younger.
He was the contrast of me as I was fair hair and green eyes. But we're the only exception since everyone else has brunette hair and grey eyes.
"Hello, Zack. My name is Arthur and I'm here to help me," I said as I was smiling at him. He was wary of everyone else but he was looking at me and I can see that he was trusting me.
"Arthur. I remember now. Father used to tell me that he has a son before me and he will not be able to take me with him to meet you. I was so glad to know that I finally found you, brother," Zack said as he was hugging me. I can see that I was taken back but I patted his back.
"Yes. I'm here now. You don't have to worry, Zack. Say, is your mother still around?" I asked as I know he would be aware of our truth if father told him about me. I turned to look Zack and his face was crestfallen.
"No, she's…dead last month. I don't know the cause but I sense it has to do with her heart," he said quietly as I was nodding at him. A werewolf who died with be followed by their mates. So maybe my father did find his true mate while married to mum. I just wished my mum would feel the same as well. It's been a long time due to her.

"It's okay now. We can go home now. You have a family now," I said as I was looking at my younger brother.
"I do?"
"Yes, you're my brother and that made you my responsibility. Come, we can go now if you're up to it," I said before Zack stood up abruptly before he was swaying.
"Easy," I said as I was holding him. He smiled before he thanked me. I turned to look at Sebastian as he waved his hand dismissively.
"just make sure that he will be fed off and he will be fine," he said as I looked at Caleb and Xavier as well as Damien.
"Alpha?" I asked him as he was looking at Zack before me. He nodded.
"Make sure he got his strength back. From now on, he was one of us as he was your brother after all," Caleb said as he was patting my shoulder.
"Thank you," I said before I was escorting Zack back to my house. I was worried for nothing that Caleb will do something out of ordinary but there was a matter that I need to speak to him.
"Alpha, may I speak with you tomorrow?" I asked him as Caleb turned to look at me when he was talking about the pack with Xavier.
"About what?" He asked as he was furrowing his eyebrows at me. As far as I'm concerned, I hope he did not think that we will be under any danger.
"It's…personal. Not related to the pack," I said before Caleb nodded at me as I was getting out of the packhouse and made our way to my house where my mum will be surprised to see my father's another son showed up at her door.
I only hoped that she will not lose control.
The reaction was not what I expected it to be. My mother welcomed Zack with open arms. She stated that she has been dying to meet my father's son and she seems pleased that she was taking care of Zack to his health.

"You know," my mother spoke as I was getting ready for my night patrol. Zack has been dozed off in his bed since supper.
"I never know that I might meet his true mate's son. But I glad that I did. And I'm glad that you don't hold your grudges against your father for his infidelity," my mother said as she was rubbing my cheek. I took her hand and leaned into her motherly touch.
"I just hope that you will fight for what rightfully yours, my son. Do not let her go, ever," she said as she was gripping my hand. I chuckled.
"Don't worry, mum," I said as I was kissing her hand.
"I wasn't planning to," I said before I was off to my patrol duty. I think tomorrow will be changing everything.
Diana Marchand's POV
I have gone home after Arthur was getting called to the packhouse. I wanted to know what he was going in a rush for but I will hold off my curiosity as I need a shower pronto.
"Where have you been?" My father asked me as I was walking up into the front door. I looked at him as he was out of his mind.
"If you can't see that I was sweating my butt off here, then I suggest you get glasses, dad," I said as I was making my way to my bedroom. I need to get my towel before I can go to the bathroom in the kitchen. Seriously, who built this house in this plan? Bathroom in the kitchen?
Absurd!
"Diana, I ask you where you are. Are you meant to tell me that you were training with the Gamma?" He asked as I was going to the bathroom in the kitchen. I frowned at my father. What's his deal with Arthur anyway?
"Yeah, so what? He was just going to train me, dad. No harm was done," I said as I was going into the bathroom, not wanting to hear any more of his comment. I don't know how my mother can put up with him all these years.
And to think that they are not real mates!
I will go mad if this happened between me and Caleb. I don't want him. I wanted Arthur.
Woah, where did that thought come from?
I was pushing the curtains so that I will be in the bathtub to shower. I smelled like a gym sock. And I know that everyone was avoiding those at any cost.
I was looking up in the faucet that was pouring cold water. What a nice day to end the training that I don't need. I cannot think of anything that might be good after this. I sighed as I need to go with my plan, one way or the other. I need Arthur and only he can determine if I can leave the island or not.
But where would I go?
I was smiling as I can imagine myself in front of the Leaning Tower of Pisa or maybe get engaged in front of the Eiffel Tower. Or maybe I wil.be visiting the Parthenon that used to worship Athena in her honor.
I sighed as I took the towel and wrapped myself inside it. I need to get a dress and maybe meet Arthur to tell my plan. He understands as he was my mate. I just hope he was willing as well.

Release schedule will probably be at least 1 chapter a week.
