Arthur Adamos' POV
"And that is?" I asked Sebastian before he was smirking at me.
"Now, that would not be fun, was it? I will not tell you until he wakes up so you can pray for his recovery," Sebastian said as he was damping some clothes to face the unconscious man's face. I gritted my teeth.
"Whatever, like I wanted to know anyway," I said as I was moving out of the infirmary. Even when I was out in the hallway, Sebastian taunted me.
"I know you wanted to!"
I shook my head before I was trying to focus on the main problem; Diana. I need to get Caleb to back off from the engagement but it was made between their parents.
Maybe I need to confront the Beta, not Xavier mind you, but their father. I sighed before I was running down the hills before I shifted and get on with my patrol already.
I was thinking one thousand and one ways to get her out of that marriage of convenience. If I have to fight for my life, I will try it with all my might. I need to prove to Diana that I can take care of her and beat anyone that tries to get her away from me.
I smirked as I remembered the kiss that we just shared a few hours ago.
My wolf has been happy that we finally tasted her. She tasted of lemon and I like lemon. It was a nice combination as her grey eyes darkened with desire and her lips parted as she was staring at me.
I wondered what she tasted of me.
I was coming to the end of the territory as I was nodding at Damien since he was making his patrol while I was occupied with things.
'Where have you been?' He asked in the mind link before I was growling at him.
'None of your business,' I said before I can sense that he was smirking in the link.

'Are you going to tell me or will I have to find it out by myself?' He asked as we were walking side by side. I growled at him but he was just ignoring me.
'Not that it would get any better if you tell me now. No matter, I will find it and I think I might use it for one of my tales to the youth to behave,' he said as I sighed in my mind.
'Please don't,'
'Too late, Gamma and for once I thought you were the strongest in the pack,' he makes a snide remark.
'For the record, I was the third strongest but I will take that as a compliment,' I said before we were running again.
'Just focus on the task please,' I said as we were running for our patrol of the rogue. I wondered if Diana will show up tomorrow. I can hardly wait.
Diana Marchand's POV
This the worst morning ever. I don't even know why I decided to come here. Why I do have to comply when he was asking me to come here at 8 AM? I should have taunted him to wait for me a while.
"Again," he said as I was kicking the punching bag for a thousand times now. I was breathing hard as my hair was sticking to my scalp and sweat was clinging to my skin.
"You know I can still take you by surprise, right?" I asked him as I was punching the bag again. I was training in the old way, The Old Council before the new Alpha ascended the throne. My father has been relearning the old way so that we can be advanced in both old and new ways of the werewolves'
"Whatever. I already know how to take you down the last time," he said with arrogance in it. I rolled my eyes at him as I was kicking the bag, imagining it was him.
"Yeah, but it was one of the ways. I still have a lot of ways that I don't show you yet," I said as I was punching before he was stopping and looked at me as I was punching the bag again and again.

"Who taught all of that? Does Xavier has the same knowledge as you?" he asked before I was looking at him, dropping my hands to my hip. His gaze was on them immediately before they focused on my face again.
"If I say yes, what will you do about it?"
"Nothing. I was just curious," he said as he was looking at my stance. His eyes were narrowing at me.
"Why do you stop? Continue, again," he said as I rolled my eyes at him. I took off the bandages that I was covering my hands for punching the bag. I sighed before I took the water bottle and drank the content. I can see that Arthur was still looking at me.
"What?" I asked him as he was staring at me. He turned away immediately.
"Nothing," he said before he was taking staff and threw one at me. I took it before I was holding it in my hands. It was balanced and I can move with grace.
"Now, let's move on to the next lesson, shall we?" Arthur said as he was smirking at me.
"Already?" I thought we might do this tomorrow," I said before he was advancing at me. I was gripping the staff and blocked his advances.
"For the things that you can learn today, why put it off until tomorrow?" He said before he was kicking the staff and I was blocking him. He did not leave me with any space to attack him. I have to outsmart him. I saw an opening and I took it before I changed it. He thinks I might be attacking him from the side but when I dropped myself to the ground and slide my feet, he stumbled on his butt.
Jackpot!
I was twirling the staff before I held it to my side as I was looking down on him. Arthur was glaring at me before he smiled.
"Good, now you should know that securing a place before your enemy," he said before he slid his feet and I was on my butt in front of him, staff flying out of my hand.
"You might end up like him as well," he said before I was glaring at him as he was smirking at me. But I could not stay mad at him before I burst out a laugh as I was staring at him. He was shocked to see my life before I subdued.
"Don't tell me that you never heard laughter before," I said as I was still holding my stomach for the impact of my laughter. He shook his head before he was standing up and offering his hand for me.
I took it before he pulled me up and I was standing close to him. Well, in front of him. I was staring into his green orbs as I was leaning closer as well as Arthur. He must sense that I wanted to kiss him before someone was coming through the training ground with a loud huff.
"Arthur!" Damien shouted before I jerked away from Arthur. I Wass staring at his orbs far too long that I don't think that I wanted to get away but with other people in our little moment will do no good.
"What is it?" He spoke first before Damien was staring at me.
"Diana, how are you, future Luna?" He said as he nodded at me. I stiffed as I can sense that Arthur was growling and his body heat was trying to control the anger that was lashing through him right now.
"What do you need to tell me that you have to cut my training with Diana?" Arthur asked as he scoffed before Damien. Damien cleared his throat before he looked at Arthur.

Please note: the Sexual Content tag is there due to a single brief plot-relevant scene, which has a warning at the beginning. For other details, read the full description below. Rating breakdown, since that should be public info: 5 x 5*, 2 x 4.5*, 1 x 0.5* During a blackout, a frail and ragged old woman stops to ask for a glass of water from a backyard barbecue party. Given a good supper instead, she looks around the group, and tells them, "Be who and what you truly are." Days later, seven of the people from the barbecue find themselves drawn into a trap laid by a pair of wizards and their accomplices, who kidnap them into a bubble reality. All seven, who have known each other all their lives, are informed that they are not in fact entirely human: they have active fae blood, due to a series of conditions culminating with the blessing of the elderly fae woman. The transformation into fae form comes as a shock: all seven, whether originally female or male, find themselves now unreasonably beautiful women. More urgent even than that, though, is their captivity. Getting back to the real world is a higher priority than this metamorphosis that rapidly begins to feel natural... but this is only the first step, as the diverse types of fae blood they carry begin to surface. With no resources except themselves, how can they escape this prison? If they succeed, how can they possibly reclaim their lives? Just how many other faelings have been kidnapped, anyway, and what happened to them? And is there a way to make sure that their captors never put anyone else through this? Back in the real world, Kayla, who learned long ago to trust her gut instincts, is absolutely certain that something is very wrong. The pattern in the list of missing friends is easy to spot, but makes no sense at all. Then a young woman turns up at the backyard gate who knows more than she should, and even though her explanation makes even less sense, every instinct tells Kayla that Riley is her only way to get them back. If they're not quite what they were, well, that's a bridge to cross later... Just a little note: I'm a big believer in endings that are upbeat but not candy-coated, and not a fan of grim-and-gritty or of glamorized violence. These are adults in a difficult situation. However, no one gets raped, and the physical violence is, all things considered, fairly minimal. There is some harassment, sexual and otherwise, and also some mild restraint and mild verbal abuse. Complicating factors are generally wizardly or fae in nature. If I need to warn you about gender in this being all over the map, some of it reality-based rather than fantasy-based, highly diverse sexuality, or that there is (especially later) some indirect fetish/BDSM imagery and honest character discussion, then you probably should just avoid everything I write. :-) Also available on Scribble Hub.
