《Shadow Pack Stories [Completed]》Chapter 8: The Confession

Stella Canali's POV
I was having some thoughts in the shower as the rain was pouring cats and dogs outside. It was nice and all but the lightning did some numbers on me.
I was afraid of lightning.
I know what you might be thinking. But I can't help it. I was left alone when I was hearing the lightning first hand and now, I was afraid of i. But I thought to myself that if I could never overcome my fear, I would never will.
"Well, this is nice," I said as I was washing my body in the bathtub. It was lavender and rosemary. I wanted to get the sweat from the skin as I will be sleeping comfortably tonight.
"I hope I can stay like this forever," I said as I was sinking into the bathtub. They were enormous, fit for two people but I was conquering it all right now. No one to share it with.
I sighed as I know exactly who I wanted to share it with.
Xavier.
But I have not seen him after that breakfast. It's like he was gone and I don't think that I would be aching like this.
Damn him!
I have to get my mind out of his or so God helps me I could never come back to this island without having some thoughts about him. I sighed as I was looking at the ceiling. The lightning stroke again before I was closing my eyes.
Don't think about it, don't feel it.
I was sinking for a good measure before I went out of the bathtub. I was opening the drain so the water can get out. I stood up and went to get the towel to wrap around me.
I got out of the bathtub before I went to the mirror. I was looking at myself, such a mess. My eyes were bloodshot as I don't even know I was crying for them to be like that. I was being ridiculous right now.

I sighed as I took another towel to wrap around my hair as I was drying them up. I was thinking about what could happen between me and Xavier but I guess it will never be true. I opened the door before I got out of the room until I saw someone was standing in my room.
"What the!" I shrieked before I saw who was it.
Xavier.
I was blinking my eyes a few times before Xavier was looking at me with his grey eyes. I don't know what to think, let alone breathe after that. It was enticing with the way that he leaned on the wall.
I almost forgot that I was half-naked.
"How do you get in here?" I asked him as I went to take the duvet from the bed as I was trying to cover myself up. I saw that he was smirking at my attempt before he cleared his throat.
"You don't know who I am, don't you?" He asked as he arched his eyebrow at me. He was right. All I eve know about Xavier was absolutely nothing.
"What do you mean?" I asked as I was looking at him. He was looking at me up and down even though I was covering myself up.
"You,"
"Be serious!"
"I am. And I wish to make you mine," he said as he was walking very slowly to where I was standing. My heart skipped a beat at that notion.
He wanted me.
Me!
"What are you going to do about it?" I asked him as he smirked at me. I know what he wanted but I just wanted him to admit it himself.
"Well, it's raining, it's night and we both know what that means," he said as he was taking another step that was getting me wild with needs. I don't know what to think, only images that were damned obscene by my mother. I gulped.

"Will you give it to me then? Getting us out of this misery?" I asked him as he was looking at me. He shrugged.
"Perhaps, but are you consent?"
"What?"
"Do you let me have you tonight?" He asked directly as he was standing in front of me. I was drawing a sharp breath before I saw his grey eyes were locked on my face as if he wanted to remember every inch of my face.
"Yes,''
"What?"
"Yes, damn it," I said before I was pulling at him. He was taken back a bit before he recovered and he pulled at my nape. He was holding me in place with his hand on my neck and the other on my waist.
"God, I have been wanting to do this to you the first time I saw you," Xavier groaned as he was taking my lips again. I groaned as I never been kissed like this before.
Rough.
Passionate.
Possessive.
I think I might laugh at my younger self if I think I like someone's tender and genuine kiss. I was lying to myself. Until I met Xavier, that's all I ever knew of kissing. Not like this. With an instant primal and primitive claim on me.
"Do you want me, Stella?"
"What?" I asked as I was still dazed when Xavier stopped the kiss. He was resting his forehead against mine.
"Do you want me in your bed, now and forever?" He asked as his grey eyes were locked into my green orbs. My heart was thumping wildly as I was trying to comprehend his question. Was he?
"If I say yes, what will you do?" I asked as I was trying to tease him. Xavier smiled at me before he kissed me briefly.
"Then, I shall make you forget your other lovers before me," he said as he was pushing me onto the bed with him on top of me. But he kept his weight off me.
"Wait," I said as Xavier was kissing me. He was tugging at my towel before he looked at me.
"What is it?" He asked as I was shy to admit to him. That I never had lovers before him and he was the first one.
"Stella?"
"Will you be gentle?" I asked as I was looking at him for some support, some understanding that he would understand that this was my first time with anyone. He nodded and I smiled as I pulled him closer to kiss him.
"I will make it the best moment of your life," he whispered to me as I purred at him. He licked my throat.
"I was counting on it," I purred before he smirked at me and I think I saw his eyes gleamed with mischief for the first time after our encounter.

Kind’s Kiss
MAGIC DOESN'T KILL, NOT BY ITSELF. IT NEEDS A LITTLE HELP. Jessica DeRidder is a substitute teacher and mage in hiding, her daughter Ellen a killer on the run. Their next job lands the mother-daughter team in Hellhole, a small town in the middle of nowhere. All they need to do is their job. For Mom to identify the problem, and for Ellen to... fix it. Easy. Simple. But not this time. The pair find themselves caught in the struggle between the Man-in-White and the Wicked Witch of the West. A mysterious image and the theft of a deadly flower lead the pair to a score of dead prisoners, magical drug dealers, and red-eyed assassins falling from the sky. And somehow it all seems to be related to Ellen's murky past. All Ellen wants to do is do her homework, eat ice cream, and protect her newfound friends (not necessarily in that order). She'll go all-in, guns blazing. But when the smoke clears there may be nothing left but a stranger's past and a lonely future. --- 'Kind's Kiss' is a light, modern-day fantasy, easy on the magic, heavy on the snark. Though complete it is still a work in progress. One reviewer described it as 'Buffy meets Sabrina, as done by Tarantino'. I'm still not sure if I should consider that a compliment or hire a hitman :-)

Right Side of Hell
Albus Dumbledore was sure he made the right choice sacrificing an innocent child. Too late he understood how terrible that mistake was. Harry Potter was not what he wanted him to be, he was not what the magical world expected him to be. He was not a replica of James, instead, he inherited more of Lily. Far too much to be convenient.
