"Wow, she really said that?" Jessi asked me her eyes going slightly, "You know I would do the same if I was in your fathers place at that time but when you consider the point where you both are mates it shouldn't matter, be it gentle or wild. You told you're having family dinner right, when is it?" she asked me eating the cone.
"In two days."
"Has your crazy cousin changed?" she asked me and I shrugged my shoulders in response, "This time Ruka would be the one to smack him instead of Eric."
What she said was true but I doubted if it would be just a smack. My cousin was a nice person not that I hated him, he just didn't get it that I didn't feel the same way.
"He would have changed, Jessi, after all, its been more than two years," I said and she hummed in response.
"Look its Aiden," she said looking over me and waved at him,
"No class?" he asked us taking a seat and I answered a nope to it.
"You finished early," I commented surprised as the juniors always had full classes here.
"I got kicked out," he grumbled something under his breath, "Don't forget to talk to Ruka about the car, Eve," he reminded me.
"What car?" asked Jessi looking at both of us.
"She's going to tell Ruka to persuade my mom to get me the car. Not that I can't buy one but my sweet adorable mom told she would smash the car if I did so," he said taking the ice cream from me.
"You know Ruka is a big softie when it comes to Eve," Aiden said putting rest of the cone in his mouth, "Outside he goes all Jurassic Park and when its Eve it's rawr," I couldn't stop myself from smiling.

"I know," Jessi laughed at it, her cell rang and she picked it up. After a yes and a no and few lines of talking she cut the call, "I'll be leaving, Eve. William told he's picking me in five. Cya Aiden," she said taking her bag. I saw her walk towards the exit and turned back to see Aiden staring at me. I raised my brows in question to which he smiled.
"What?" I asked him curiously.
"Just looking," he said humming a song and then spoke, "You know...you are too damn nice."
"Thank you?" I said unsure to which he frowned.
"That wasn't a compliment. It's not exactly a good thing, I understand its part of being an angel and who you are but people misuse it. It's good that you have Ruka," he said and then pulled my cheek, "Don't listen so seriously, just be cautious k? Everything is like two sides of a coin, if it weren't for you Ruka might have turned to a tyrant, come on. Let's go home," he said getting up.
Augustus had come to pick us up at the front gate. When we got to the castle, I went up to the room to keep my stuff and change clothes. I discovered after an hour that Ruka was in the dungeon with Sebastian. What were they doing down there? The last time I was down there was when I found Megan dead. In hurry to see Ruka I had forgotten my shoes and had walked bare feet down there. I heard the voices and followed the source. Something pricked my feet and I stopped to see what it was, lifting my feet sideways to see a thorn there. When I pulled it out, I saw blood trickle down. It hurt like crap. I heard a loud crash that diverted my attention towards the door.

"-you expect me to spare your life after what you have done?" I heard Ruka laugh dryly. I heard cracking of something that followed with a snap sound as though something was broken, "Sebastian...take Eve up," I heard him say that straightened my posture.
The door opened and I saw Ruka standing at the center of the room. He was holding a man in one of his hand. His eyes had turned to slits and looked cold. Blood splattered over his shirt. There was a body lying in the corner. The person he held said something which I couldn't hear. I didn't know what he said but it was enough for Ruka to sink his teeth in the person's neck.
Before I could witness the whole scene Sebastian had closed the door. I felt something in the pit of my stomach that was caused due to what I saw. Bending down I puked at the side once I was out.
"Don't see," I said failing one of my hand.
"There there," Sebastian rubbed my back soothingly not heeding to my words. Once I was done I asked him,
"What was that?" looking towards the dungeon.
"Interrogation," he answered giving me his famous Cheshire like smile while taking me back inside how Ruka had asked him to.

... And My Skillet
A long time ago, a child was born under the great blue sky. Many a Dwarf grumbled at the auspicious event, tugging furtively at their beards at this ill omen. A year later as the expedition had begun digging into the virgin hills of their new home, the grumbling of the doughty mountain people rose to a disbelieving furor when the yearling passed over the ritual offerings that would determine his lot in life. Instead, the as of yet unnamed child crawled over to a skillet fresh out of the fire and begun picking at the rock bread, unconcerned with the heat. Shouts turned into laughter, frowns lifted into craggy smiles. Upon placing a handful of the bread into his mouth, the infant’s face grew so grim and stony not even the eldest of the present Dwarves could match him. There was a durable ore within this babe, of that the Lore Keeper was sure. Yumly Ironhand was thus named, the beginning of his great tale immortalized on the rune walls of his clan’s history. “It’s pronounced Yoom Lee and no, rock bread isn’t a misnomer.”

A Tale From Azaad
Desperate and wandering, a young lord stumbles upon unknown knowledge that can help to overturn his peoples’ destiny. But can he rise to bring the prosperity his people need, or fall before it can ever take shape? AN: I hate writing synopses, so I'd recommend reading a few chapters before making a decision. Also, it's tagged as an isekai but those tropes don't appear. Warnings: I mention them, but there are a few chapters that are really gruesome. Furthermore, the innovations and advancements don't come into play until a lot later, though the framework for it all is built up early. Inspirations: South Asian history, Tales of a Reincarnated Lord and some of the histroical and kingdom-building stories on RR are inspirations for this work. If you enjoy politics, clever strategies, nation-building and technological advancement, then this story might interest you. Schedule: New chapter every Saturday at 3PM PST.

Life in Zora's Domain
An AU about Mipha's and Link's life together post Calamity. I tried to have some fun with this story, taking it in different directions, developing Mipha's and Link's family, making up some adventures, and creating some connections to other Zelda stories. But the main theme is Mipha's and Link's love for each other and building a happy life together. I'm sure I don't always succeed, but I try to keep the story light hearted and generally opt for happy outcomes. The first 2 chapters now incorporate the prequel stories 'His Future is in the Past' and 'Beginning Life in Zora's Domain', so this AU is self-contained in one story. If you've already read the prequels just jump to Chapter 1 - Studying. Cover art where available is by Nurple(twitter dot com/nurpleynurple) and used by permission. Spoiler Warning: This story has spoilers! On the other hand, if you haven't played the game this story won't make sense. This writing is a work of fan fiction using characters and events from the world of The Legend of Zelda TM: Breath of the Wild, which is owned and copyrighted by Nintendo. I do not claim any ownership of the world or its characters. It is a work of my imagination and is for entertainment only. It is not part of the official Nintendo storyline.
