Phil hurried to check on Sinns and requested proper help from a group of soldiers while Gree went to look for Lorenz, who attempted to come out to look for Ivan as he didn’t answer his calls. However, the moment he left the building a vehicle was flying towards his direction after being thrown by the snake which kept trashing its surrounding while trying to reach up to Chronos.

To his luck, once Elvira secured Sinns she hurried back to help Chronos while leaving Gree behind and attempt to kill Lawrence upon sighting him, so before Lorenz got caught under the vehicle, Elvira pushed him aside as the wall behind them got heavily dented by the impact. “What are you doing out here? You almost get killed and you can’t do anything.” –Elvira asked quite annoyed about the situation.

“I need to know where Ivan is, he said he would die and now he is not answering any call. Did he really…?” –Lorenz stopped for a moment while Elvira instantly turned her expression to sorrow.

“Get back in. I don’t want to be babysitting you too.” –Elvira replied while running off to the giant snake dragon that kept approaching Chronos despite his efforts to maintain it away from him. Elvira noticed the mist was dissipating from the surrounding area, which to her meant 2 possibilities: 1. Lawrence left in order to keep himself away from danger or 2. He is still around but hiding behind the debris. Either option seemed plausible to her but since she didn’t know exactly what he planned to do after Ivan died, she couldn’t lower her guard while she took pieces of debris and flung them towards the eyes of the dragon to create a window for Chronos to find ways to damage it.

As he instantly understood what Elvira wanted him to do, Chronos attempted to focus in certain areas of the Dragon’s long body but it was futile as the spears he would cast couldn’t pierce through. “Elvira, we need to take it out of the village!” –He shouted while jumping off to another ceiling before the tail of the snake destroyed the foundation of that building he just got off from.

Lawrence paid no mind to the inconvenience as he already found his target. However, he found quite interesting the young man who seemed to be able to cast spears and large spikes out of thin air. I better keep an eye on him in case he survives the fight against the dragon.’ –He thought while making his way towards where he thinks Sinns is, but to his surprise, he realizes Gree is also with them and immediately shifts his priority to getting rid of her.

“I would’ve pretty much enjoyed a quick lift to Lorenz’s, Elvira!” –Gree yelled while resting a bit after getting tired and annoyed since she was left behind. After taking a deep breath and readied herself to continued, her body instinctively made her pull a gun out of her belt and aim at whatever was approaching her. A sudden feeling of terror invaded her as a dense mist began to surround her. “Tch, you still suck at properly greeting people, Lawrence.” –She said while starting to shoot to where she guessed Lawrence would be but her gun got easily sliced in the middle of a shot and the recoil threw pieces of the gun to one of her eyes inflicting her a lot of pain as she lost balance and fell over, only to realize one of the legs was missing.

“Had I know you would be here as well, I wouldn’t have lost any time looking for VM01 or even having to deal with that joke of a ruler, mainly since I could’ve used you as a nice warranty. But now I have a dragon and my deal with Yan is already secure.” –Lawrence casually spoke while standing in front of Gree who was trying her best to not panic while reaching into her belt for another method of getting rid of Lawrence. “Aw, you surely are tough for being an over 100 years-old child.” –He mentioned while enjoying the sight before severing her arm as it was reaching her belt.

Gree let out a scream which was quickly drowned by her vomiting in pain while trying to crawl away afterward. Lawrence, overjoyed by the sight decided to finally put an end to her but was interrupted by a shot that landed on his left shoulder, alerting him and forcing him to shroud himself once again using his mist. In a moment, Phil appeared and threw a stun grenade forward into the mist while following a blood trail he hoped was coming from Lawrence, but once he approached the source, he flinched as his stomach twisted while the grenade went off blinding Lawrence for a second. Phil winced while trying to carefully but quickly pick up Gree from the floor as his thought focused on escaping to get medical attention as fast as possible, ignoring everything else in his surroundings.

Lawrence groaned while being visibly annoyed by the pain on his shoulder but didn’t hesitate to chase after Phil since he understood that as long as Gree was alive, there would be a high probability of her being able to replicate the custom weapons, which was something he couldn’t allow if he wanted to take over the ruler’s role. He didn’t take long to approach Phil and graze his back, making him lose balance and tripping over while trying to protect Gree. “I’m tired of this job, now I have to add an extra medical insurance to the deal, or else I won’t be able to continue much longer like this.” –Lawrence mumbled to himself while severing both of Phil’s legs as he screamed in pain before being instantly silenced by another slash that cut his head off as Lawrence stared at him in disdain.

Once he turned the body around to expose Gree again, a spear had pierced through his right arm, forcing him to drop his Scythe while turning around to see what happened with the Dragon, which eyes’ were forced out and its head was impaled by several ashen spears created by Chronos who stood next to the corpse while looking at the mist in the distance. However, Lawrence couldn’t see Elvira who suddenly jumped into the mist with her bloodshot eyes and her hands full of blood from pulling out the snake’s eyes. Before he could react, Elvira bashed his head down to the ground and began to brutally smash his head, breaking his skull and reducing his head to mush while his body already gave up and became motionless.

Chronos approached her but was met with a horrible sight. Phil was decapitated, Gree lost a couple of her limbs and Elvira screamed in agony to the sky as it began to rain. Pandora showed herself behind him, silently getting closer as Chronos’ heart began to beat faster while uneasiness invaded him. He felt like throwing up but couldn’t let himself succumb at the moment since he noticed Gree was still breathing faintly. He quickly picked her up and ran towards the soldiers who were evacuating the people in the vicinity in order to look for help. At the sight of Chronos holding Gree, the soldiers instantly attempted to aid them.

As it began to rain heavily, Elvira was still next to Phil’s corpse, lamenting his death while sobbing. She couldn’t notice the helicopter flying over Casamira and stopping to hover above the town hall. Chronos on the other hand, looked at it dumbfounded as he didn’t know for sure if this was also part of Gree’s plan while the Soldiers were all around helping to save people from the debris and giving medical attention to Gree.

A long rope ladder was thrown out of the Helicopter while an extremely fast impact shattered the ground in front of Chronos, forcing him to back away from it as a group of unknown soldiers appeared in front of him, aiming their assault rifles at Chronos while Cristobal was walking into the town hall to retrieve Sinns after killing the soldiers who were taking care of her. As he walked out, he looked briefly at Chronos with a cold expression but decided to not give an order to terminate him while the unknown soldiers began to climb the ladder. Only when Cristobal touched the ladder, Chronos came back to his senses as he attempted to impale Cristobal, to which Cristobal, with a movement of his whip, altered the trajectory of the spear and quickly impacted Chronos' chest, knocking him out.

By the time he woke up, Chronos noticed he was moved into a temporary medical facility and Lorenz was sitting nearby next to Elvira who was talking to him, explaining what happened. As he tried to stand up from the bed he woke up on, Chronos felt a piercing pain coming from his chest. “I don’t recommend you moving. It is almost a miracle you are still alive after the hit you received yesterday.” –A doctor that was rushing around mentioned while reading the report in front of his bed.

For how long have I slept? Where is Gree? –Chronos thought while Elvira approached him after Lorenz left to go somewhere else.

“You’ve been sleeping for a while now.” –Elvira mentioned while sitting next to his bed. “Sinns was taken by a commander from Delcyt, most likely under the ruler’s orders, so trying to get to them would be a task beyond what we could do.” –She continued while scratching her head.

“Did Gree...?” –Chronos asked expecting the worst of scenarios.

“She is alive, barely. Had it not been for you, she would have probably not made it in time.” –Elvira answered, calming Chronos down, as he tried to avoid speaking about Phil. “The guy you saw me talking with is an acquaintance of Gree, I met him the day we first came here to this place. He went to check on Gree as her life is not in immediate danger anymore.” –She continued while standing up with the intention to leave the facility in order to help anyone who could. “He would be very grateful, just as how grateful I am. Thank you for saving her when I was falling in despair.” –she mentioned while leaving Chronos alone on his bed.

Right after Elvira left, Pandora briefly appeared on the seat she had just stood up from, showing a malevolent smile with empty eyes. Chronos instantly frowned upon seeing her and attempted to not pay any attention to whatever she would tell him. “It seems like you are in a very dire situation. However, there is a way for you to be able to make amends and bring the girl back. As you may already know, she is a bit more special than the rest. She was blessed, just like you, but not in the same way. Just like you, she is going to become the recipient of something and if you want, I could help you unlock what is left inside of you, the actual power of your command.” –Pandora said as she caught Chronos attention, making him sweat cold after her brief appearance.

Several hours later, in an emergency room, Gree was again taken in again as she destabilized while resting on the bed assigned to her. Lorenz and Elvira stood out of the room waiting to get any news without saying a word, hoping for her to survive.
