"Healing by death and Revival!" Vincent said in surprise
[Do you want a rundown of their abilities?]
"Yes, But first why are you telling me this?" He asked.
[What do you mean?]
"When I first came to Aemplefort you never told me anything about the artifact except its name but now you seem so keen to tell me more."
[You never inquired of more.]
"I didn't ask for it now either, yet you seem so generous, what's the deal system."
[.....]
[You need motivation, Obtaining the artifact is taking longer than anticipated.]
"So you reckoned to say more about its abilities to coax me into craving it more. Thus bringing about me, speeds up the time to possess it."
[Indeed, All this time spent in school while it's not a waste, it's not your main goal.]
"My main goal is to meet my mother, not whatever you have in mind." Vincent snapped back.
[In such a case, My goal has to be fulfilled.]
"That being?" He asked sarcastically.
[To make you the greatest]
"....."
"Explain the abilities."
[Of course.]
[Healing By Death: When a being "Alive" possessing a lifeforce is "Killed" leading to "Death".
Some of the life force is consumed by the artifact and is used to heal.
Note: Not all people die when they are killed]
[Revival By Equivalent Exchange: Provided that the life or object used to exchange is equal to the life that is to be exchanged with, Revival may commence.
Note: A life is not equal to a life.]
"Wow!" Vincent muttered in surprise.
[Wow indeed, Such abilities can only be created by the all mighty.]
"I suppose that the remaining 5 also have their conditions."
[Yes they do]
"Hm, Explain the condition of Revival."
[A life is not equal to another life?].

"Yes"
[It means nothing more and nothing less.]
[The life of a pauper is not comparable to the life of a King loved by his people.]
[The life of a villain is not equal to the life of a hero]
[The life of a soldier is not equal to the life of a baker]
[The only form of life that is equal to all life is the life of a newborn, But as it grows from childhood until death it gains a value determined by what it did alive.]
"Karma" Vincent interrupted
[Yes, Good and bad actions determine the value]
"So that's why a newborn is equal to all. A newborn is a blank sheet of endless potential."
[Indeed, but there are some special conditions in which a newborn's life is not equal to another.]
"Which situation?" Vincent asked
[For example, If the event that you die.]
[It would take 7,999,999,998 newborn souls for revival to commence and it may not even be successful.]
"What!" Vincent screamed out, "Why!?"
[You are special Vincent]
"System………"
[......]
"......"
"That's sus," He said with a cringed up face
[..... I know, and I regret every moment of it.]
[But my point still stands, Not everyone can possess The Word. If you die, great things die with you.]
[So don't die!]
"Sigh, I get it. What about the condition of healing by death"
[For healing by death to commence the conditions are.]
[You must kill something "Alive", This can be manipulated by perception.]
[It must possess a life force, Not all things alive possess a life force, for example, the dark monster Lich.]
[It must be killed]
[It must be capable of death.]
[Not all things die. For example, The undead.]
[You can't kill what is already dead, although it can be manipulated by perception.]

"Hm, Explain more on how perception affects the 7 Ringed Laths of Healing."
[Perception of things differs from one person to another.]
[For example, Ghosts.]
[Some perceive Ghosts as something already dead, others perceive it as something still alive.]
[Your perception of things affects how the 7 Ringed Paths Of Healing works.]
"Isn't that a hole in the system?"
[In what way?]
"If I perceive rocks as alive, the artifact will work on it right?" He asked.
[Yes, But that's where the second condition comes in place.]
"It must possess a life force," Vincent let out in realization.
[This requirement negates the hole caused by perception.]
'These abilities are what gave Aemplefort an edge over the years, It will be a nice addition to my arsenal.'
[Are you going to take part in this battle?]
"I want to participate, but I don't have an obligation to."
[You should, after all…. What could go wrong?]
"......"
"......"
"......"
"You know, For a system capable of summoning an all-knowing device,
You sure are dumb"
[.....]
[Your mum is d-]
"I dare you to finish that sentence" Vincent threatened to the sky, flaring his ether.
[......]
"That's what I thought"
'I should get changed.' He said as he went down to his room to get ready.

The War had gone further with the 3rd line joining the fray.
Instructor Pryde, Zeph, Selussa, Vinda flew through the sky leading the way deeper into the danger. Instructor Selussa as an Elf was capable of such a feat.
They went deep into the stampede and on their way, they talked amongst each other.
Selussa observed the golden shimmer on her skin releasing a breath of wonder, "Hm, So this is the rumored artifact of Aemplefort. The reason Aemplefort stands to this day"
Instructor Pryde glanced at Instructor Selussa a little wary.
Selussa noticed the glance and chuckled in return, "Don't worry, I won't take it from you…… Rather I can't."
"And what makes you say that?" Instructor Pryde inquired.
"How can I accomplish what your group has been trying to do for years?" She said with mirth
Instructor Pryde held his gaze then looked away a few moments later.
Selussa chuckled before resuming to admire the golden glow.
"Aempleforh, What secrets did you possess when you still lived?" She said in a joyful whisper

/////Deep Within The Stampede/////
Hiding amongst the Dark Beasts, The demon that sabotaged Amelia and Vincent's device roamed.
He wondered within himself.
'Is this enough?'
He had sensed the activation of a divine weapon of Elohim.
He had once seen an artifact of Elohim being used and was familiar with Its energy.
'This weapon would tip the battle for the humans.', he thought, even without knowing which weapon it was.
He still knew that whatever it was, it would make the scales unbalanced
'I need to make the stampede stronger.'
'But if I do so, I risk the angel's wrath.'
'Is it worth it?'
'Hm…… It is' He assured himself
'Even if the successor doesn't die from this, The death of those living in Aemplefort should fill me with enough strength to kill him personally whilst also protecting myself from the angels.'
The Demon hence began molding dark eery energy, One that screamed despair, hate, fear, and everything dark.
Then he spread it, Covering himself in the darkness hiding away from all.
Even from the Angels in Heaven
'Yes, this should work.'
"HAHA!!!!" He laughed in madness.

The system shouldn't have jinxed things.

The Kodoku Game
In Japanese folklore, there once existed an ancient technique among alchemists for harvesting the strongest poison known to man. A poison so vicious, so horrendous, that a single drop could incapacitate an entire nation of humans, several times over. A poison so intense that a single drop could turn the tides of a war on its head. As potent as it appeared however, this poison could be harvested from the blood of a single insect alone- an insect the alchemist’s called the ‘Kodoku’. As lucrative as was attaining this poison however, the problem lied in identifying this insect- its appearance, shape and size changed from region to region and from continent to continent. Sometimes it took the appearance of a ladybug and other times a horned-beetle. In order to determine the identity of this special insect the alchemists came up with an ingenious method. They created an impregnable jar of clay out of the best sandstone they could find and placed hundreds of different insects into the same jar. The jar was made with such great mastery that it allowed no insects to escape and allowed no objects to enter. The laws of nature dictated that the insects would remain together in the jar forever. However, it turned out that as time went on, the insects’ hunger for food and power caused them to turn against each other- one insect ate another until only one remained. This sole insect contained a poison that far surpassed that of all the others and became stronger as it ate more and more insects. The alchemists at this point had succeeded in identifying the Kodoku and could extract it’s poison as long as they continued to feed it regularly. Although this folklore ends here, the actual story does not. One day, as the alchemists cheered in joy of having identified the Kodoku they so eagerly wanted, they forgot to close the lid on the very jar that was considered to be completely impregnable. This small gap was just large enough for the Kodoku inside to crawl out. Famished from not having been fed for weeks, the Kodoku ended up eating the very alchemists that nourished its growth until not even the bones remained. Yet, the Kodoku’s hunger didn’t seem to subside in the slightest. So it traveled to the next village and began eating whatever it could find there. Its poison made it unparalleled in strength and slowly but surely it began to dwindle down the population of the entire city. Yet its hunger only continued to grow. So it traveled to the next city over and ate all it could there. Very soon, the Kodoku couldn’t find any more food to eat. There was no one left to eat and no one left to spectate. So it stood there, by itself pondering what possibly was left to eat that could satiate its hunger. But there was one thing left that Kodoku realized it had never eaten. Itself.
