'Sigh, What should I choose?' Vincent asked himself.
/////
///Vincent Pov///
[I suggest you focus on the cons and pick the most useful], The system suggested
'My thoughts exactly'
[First is [High Mind]
[The skill helps increase your perception]
'But [Eidetic Library of Knowing] has already enhanced my perception by a great length, and with the addition of Thundra Possession. Most can't contend with me in that aspect."
" I think my perception is enough as it is. The skill is not needed now. So no'
'Ok, Next is [Ingestion]'
[Ingestion allows you to eat any matter]
'But does it allow me to eat energy?'
[No, I suspect only the skill of Devour is capable of achieving that]
'Then skip'
[Ok Next is [Shapeshift]
[Allows you to change your features to whatever you want]
'My illusion skill is capable of doing the same thing. I'm sure my illusion skill can even make it better.'
[So No.]
'Yeah no.'
[Ok Next is Duplicate]
[Ability to create Physical duplicates of oneself.]
'But would they be able to use my skills?'
[Depends on the amount of proficiency you achieved'
'And how much damage are they capable of taking?'
[Depends on proficiency]
'Mm, Keep it aside It may be useful'
[Ok Next is [Sublimation]
[Allows you to turn into a gaseous form, Lasts as long as Ether put into it]
'That's a very useful skill, but how visible would I be'
[Depend on proficiency]
'How widespread would I be'
[Depend on Proficiency]
'Can I be scattered by high wind'
[........]
'..........'
[So No]
'No'
[Ok Next is Bone Manipulation]
[In a nutshell, it allows you to manipulate your bones and create new bones.]
'A Good skill, Capable of offense and defense depending on how I use it.'
[So Yes?]
'Wait!'
'How painful is it to manipulate my bones'
[......Quite Painful]

'And how painful is it to create a new bone'
[.......Quite Painful]
'Yeah No, It's not worth putting myself through such pain.'
After going through the pros and cons, I decided to choose [Duplicate] as my new skill
It was the only skill that is not capable of causing pain nor death to me.
[It is a good choice, I'm sure in the future it will be useful to you]
'Indeed'
After deciding on [Duplicate], I spent no more time in the library. The day was already gone.
I shouted goodbye to Miss Mia and went through the door into Yggdrasil Proto [A].
I had the idea to absorb the skill book here but yet decided to do it in my room instead.
So I strode through the fresh field of Yggdrasil into the empty S-Rank classroom and went to my room.
Along the way, I bumped into a surprising figure.
"Vincent"
"Amelia"
"You still won't call me Class Captain"
"No, I won't"
"Mm, Anyway where are you headed at this time"
"To my room, and you"
"I am also on my way to my room."
"So it seems we are going the same way"
"Indeed we are"
After that was an uneasy silence between Amelia and me as we walked through the hallways to our room.
There were no topics brought up on my part because I didn't care to have a conversation while on her part she knew nothing about me to bring up a topic.
So we roamed in silence. A while later she seemed to have cooked up something because she began to talk.
"What do you think of Taudar?" She asked.
I wasn't keen to talk to her but I wanted to see where she was going with this so I replied.
"Nothing, I don't keep insignificant things in mind" Which was indeed true.
She chuckled and replied, "Well, He seems to have a lot to think about you"

I did not reply to that statement but that didn't discourage her as she went on
"Do you know why he decided to school in Aemplefort?"
I still did not reply.
"It is because of a girl."
Now I was interested.
"He fell in love with a girl but her parents refused to concede their relationship."
"According to him, The only way her parents would concede their relationships is if he schools at Aemplefort and becomes the best in his set"
"Hence he is desperate, I can't help but advise you to be careful around him"
I nodded at her signifying that I understood
"But it is a good challenge, After all, Aemplefort while not being the best school, It is the hardest school to graduate from in all of Migas."
'It is?' Vincent asked himself
"Most people end up switching to another school because they are easier and also grant more resources than Aemplefort"
"Then why are you here?" Vincent asked.
Amelia went silent for a few seconds before answering, "Because those that do graduate end up stronger than any other in their set."
"I want that kind of strength," She said with determination as we reached my room
"Mm, As do I" I replied while opening the door to my room.
"But I hope that when we do gain such power, It will be sufficient enough to accomplish our goals."
Amelia was startled before she smiled at me and said back, "I hope so too"
I smiled back and closed the door, locking it behind me, and laid on my bed.
"System Assimilate the book."
[Ok]
And Soon after I passed out.
/////In Heaven/////
Azazel and Uriel were now being healed by Gabriel.
They had undergone major injuries in their attempt to calm the rage of Raphael and Gabriel
Their attempts were for naught as the two female Arch-Angels still fumed in anger.
Raphael paced around the room, Her Auburn hair lit up in golden flames as she clenched the golden whip she held.
A divine artifact she once used to punish Azazel on God's order.
She also put on her battle outfit, It resembled that of an amazonian war goddess.
Raphael is more than ready to head down to Migas and lay waste to anything, just to lay her hands on the intruding demon and torture it in a million ways before giving it a gruesome death.
Gabriel wasn't any more different. As she was healing, her mind roamed elsewhere.
She recalled the war that transpired causing her face to crunch in anger and displeasure.
While she did not wear any armor, on the inside her mind had already completed innumerable spells and the holy energy in her was ready to bring all those spells to life and rain havoc on her enemies.
Uriel was also angry at the thought of demons moving again but it was doused by the question in his mind.
'How did they know that Vincent was the successor?' He asked himself.
Azazel on the other hand was not worried neither was he angry, His mind was elsewhere.
He knew that the Heavens System would be the first to react if a demon met face to face with the successor at this time, calling upon all means to keep the successor safe.
Instead, his mind was on what this kind of movement meant.
A demon targeting the successor to heaven meant that.
"War is on the Horizon," Azazel said out loud to no one and everyone.
The Arch-Angels didn't reply but they all knew.
This event signified the revival of the War that resulted in nothing but bloodshed and pain.
The Great War is coming!.

Fallout: Vault X
An original novel set in the Fallout universe, written to be accessible to all, featuring unique people and places. Vol.II. out now Fallout: Vault X tells the story of John. A vault dweller, who spent every day of his twenty five years underground. Like his father, and his father before him. Proud to live in the last remaining bastion of humanity, all that survived The Great War of the atomic age. Hidden deep below the surface of the earth, toiling under brutal conditions. Year after year, decade upon decade. All to expand into the natural cave system the Vault occupied, building for the future. However, John knew what his forefathers did not, that everything he’d been taught was a lie. After finishing school at the age of ten, John received his standard issue pipboy. An arm mounted personal computer, worn by everyone in the Vault. Used to coordinate the relentless pace of expansion, needed to work as an apprentice. To learn the craft that would be his life’s work. A noble calling to ensure a future for all that remained of the human race. A quirk of fate saw John equipped not with the crude, clunky, pipboy model his father wore. That almost everyone around him wore. His looked smaller, sleeker, finished in a jet black sheen. And capable of doing far more than its drab counterparts. The world above had been ravaged by atomic flames, yet life clung to its bones. The Red Valley fared better than most in the century since the bombs fell. The clean water and rich soil protected by rolling hills. All spared from direct strikes, for the most part. Life survived here. Trees spawned from charred ground, misshapen, green leaves turned red. Along with simple crops, grown wild at first, then cultivated by the survivors. The scavengers of the old world were inventive, hardy people. All determined to rebuild in the ruins of a world they never knew. In the decades that passed settlements emerged. They grew, spreading along the valley floor. Reclaiming the pre-war remnants of the once industrialised heartland. Salvaging the robotic wonders of a bygone age to build their walls and work their fields. To protect them in the dark of the wasteland. But such things are uncommon in this world, and the rarer something is, the greater its value. And the worth of pre-war technology had not gone unnoticed. The last, real, power in this world rested in the mechanised hands of The Brotherhood of Steel. Forged from the mortally wounded old world military. The Brotherhood used its access to the weapons made for a conflict no one won to strike out into the wastes. Men and women were equipped with advanced armour, aerial transportation, high grade weaponry. Accompanied by the training, strength, and will, to put them to use. They established chapters and set up outputs far and wide. All dedicated to a single purpose. To ensure the technology left abandoned by its long dead creators didn’t fall into the wrong hands. Namely, any hands that were not their own. This is the world John escaped into. A place of horrors brought forth from atomic fire. A place where survival meant battling against the darkness. Fighting a war each day to get to the next. And war...war never changes
