《The Heavens System Subsidiary (I Was Chosen By The Word)》Chapter 24 - Nightmares Of A Man. Azazel's Solution To Heavens Dilemma

//Nightmares//
Scientists describe it as a disturbing dream that stemmed from Trauma, Drugs, Depression, etc.
The Average man or woman describes it as the Aftermath of Horror Movies.
Spiritualists describe it as the representation of the Inner Demons.
These points of view are not wrong... Neither are they right.
It's all about perspective.
How it affects you.
Why it affects you
How it comes.
Why it comes.
What it does
and
what happens after...
.
.
.
.
.
.
My perspective?
I always believed that a Nightmare is who you truly are.
I believed that every night we sleep we have Nightmares...… but we all don't truly want who we are. So, we wake up with Blanks.
We all want what we have in the real world to be our reality…..... But it isn't.
A Nightmare shows you the true Reality...but who wants that, we have dreamless nights because we rather not see anything than see the truth.
I am also part of those people... Those that rather not see the truth; I will rather be born blind than to see that truth
After all.
'A blind man can never know the color of his clothes'
That's what I believed...… because I force myself to...…. Lest I See myself again...…. At least, for now. I am too hideous.
I've been here far too long.
It's time to wake up.
If I stay here too long, then it'll come again... I may not survive it this time.
Wake Up, stay in your Self-made reality and never come back.
Wake up, because if you do then you won't have to give up.
Wake up
Wake up
WAKE UP!
VINCENT!!!
''*Gasp*''
Vincent awoke from his Incubus attack jerking up to a sitting position.
His heart was pounded from fear, sweat dripped from every pore on his skin making his cloth stick to his body.
Vincent was in total disarray and his pounding head did not make it any better. Unable to take more of the pain.
His body shut down, he fell back towards where he had awoken, Assuming the same position as he did before, Vincent fell 'Asleep'.

But this time, He had a dreamless Night...…. There was no courage nor power to face the Truth, so the Truth retreated.
It would make no moves until the time was right, then it would make itself known.
'Nothing Can Run from The Truth'
In Heaven
Uriel sat on a couch in his personal space, His personal space was designed to resemble a modern-day room, there was nothing too special about it except for the choice of colors.
The room was inspired by the forest theme; Hence the colors were warm and soothed the body to relax.
In the room the couch didn't face a Television, instead, it faced the High mountains; Everything in the room was designed for the highest amount of comfort and laziness.
It was working exceptionally for Uriel who needed some time to relax and calm his nerves from Azazel Shenanigans.
It has been a Day since Azazel had claimed that he had found a 'loophole', Since that day that Azazel gave no other piece further.
When asked, he would always reply with ''Don't worry about it.'' Or ''Just fixing some tweaks'' while giving a sly smile. These answers made Uriel and his sisters worry more
Azazel's inventions are known for their power but they are even more known for how dangerous they are, Uriel feared the potential danger of this 'Loop hole'
The situation brought back rather unpleasant memories to Uriel's mind.
The image of Azazel making a new spell that was a mix of Eldritch, Summoning, Divinity, and Void brought a shiver to his bones.
The spell almost destroyed a sector of a Realm and also created those things.
Uriel continued to wonder what crazy invention; Azazel had made again.
But he didn't have to wonder long, A message just reached Uriel's mind through a particular communications spell.
The message was from Azazel, and it had only one sentence.
''Come Here Fast, Brat!''
Uriel grunted in displeasure and wondered whether Azazel has gotten into any mess.

Uriel Withdrew himself from his Personal Space walked out to an Open Space, extended his wings, and took flight at sound-breaking speeds to the North.
On his way there, He saw a familiar angel flying up ahead so he slung his wings and gathered even more speed and caught to the Angel.
Successfully catching up to the Angel, He observed Angel's features and recognized the Angels to be his sister Raphael.
Raphael turned towards Uriel with a wary look, ''You too?''
Uriel replied with an exasperated smile, ''Yeah, dropped a message with only one sentence.''
Raphael showed a smile filled with sympathy, ''Yeah me too, it's best we get there fast. We don't know what he's up to now''
''Yeah, let's Go''
Raphael and Uriel picked up the speed even further and traveled miles in seconds, after 3 Seconds they landed at their destination, Azazel's workshop. North of Heaven.
Heaven is divided into 4 Gates, The North Gate, The East Gate, The West Gate, and The South Gate. Within each gate are 3 Sections and all the gates and sections are connected to the center Section, Making a total of 13 Sections.
The 4 Archangels lived within separate gates. Azazel in the North, Uriel in the south, Raphael in the East, and Gabriel in the West. The reason for the Archangels doing that is because of a Defense Mechanism that God created in case of an attack.
Raphael and Uriel entered Azazel's Workshop, They saw Gabriel already there and Azazel looking into a ball at the Centre of the room.
Uriel and Raphael approached Azazel and Prodded him to explain what the Orb is for and Azazel finally answered them.
''The Ball that you see, is the product Loop-Hole''
Uriel looked at the Ball and the Runes.
''This ball, Isn't this a way of Remote Viewing.''
Azazel praised Uriel for his answer, ''Yes, Exactly''
''So, you want to use it to spy on The Successor''
''Correct again' (Azazel said with a smile)
Raphael jumped in and asked, ''But I thought the system denied us from seeing the successor?''
''Oh, it did'' (Azazel replied with a smile still on his face)
''Then???'' (Uriel asked)
''Let me Explain.'' (Azazel started)
''First, what do we use to spy on the [Realms]''
''We use the [System]'' (Gabriel Answered)
''Correct. and Since the system refuses us, we are left with only one choice''
''Creating our way of Viewing the Successor'' (Uriel said after Realizing Azazel's Plan)
''But won't the system know'' (Gabriel asked)
''that's why I found a loop-Hole in Heaven's Core... And tweaked it a little''
''WHAT!'' (Uriel shouted in Anger)
''Do you know what you have done! That's a sin, if you were still an Angel you would have''
''Fallen'' (Raphael interrupted with a Realizing tone)
''That's why I did it, I have already fallen adding some sins won't harm me. And I knew for a fact that you guys won't fall, after all, you guys know nothing about it.''
''Even if you did, you'll still be accepted into heaven, just like Fallen have been''
''But….''
''*Sigh*, You are still such a brat'' (Azazel said in a tired tone)
''Do you know why I needed you guys to be with me Yesterday in Heaven's core."
"I wanted to tweak the system further to give you pussies more Lee-Way, now small and most medium sins won't affect.''
''Isn't this too sinful?'' (Gabriel asked a Little Timid)
''Yes, but desperate times call for desperate measures'' (Raphael answered with Determination)
Azazel looked at Raphael with a wide smile, ''that's why you are my favorite, even after bounding me like a ragdoll that time''
''Anyways, Without further ado. I give to you [The Mirror of Earthly Omniscience]'

A healthy mind in a healthy body
288 A.D, he was born. 297 A.D, he realised he had evil impulses. 298 A.D he heard of Anthony of Egypt, and sought to follow his example to learn how to suppress his impulses. 303 A.D, he saw his people be persecuted. 306 A.D, his world changed thrice, the persecutions ended forever, this fact and his hermit lifestyle brought him peace which came with strange abilities, and through them he joined the Hidden Side of the World, back then not yet hidden. 307 A.D, he sought for a way to cure myself, yet he stumbled across something more. A reckless ritual connected him to a well of knowledge, driving him insane and immortal, causing him to be treated as a commodity in the supernatural community, an Oracle. 2019 A.D, its been 1712 years, and the lusitanian has ended up in the other side of the world in less than wholesome hands, a place which may have answers about the mysteries of his abilities, when an unexpected event cuts the connection and his sanity and mortality return. Gaius Atiius Quadratus will not forget this kindness. The MC is based on the monk class of many rpgs, but the story isn't Litrpg. Also he will gain non monk abilities after a while. Fair warning I don't understand the rating system but I'll say M-rated just in case. This is my first story, I accept criticism but I would like the critic to explain the reasoning behind it. Also I'm still figuring how this site works and I have no schedule so updates may be sporadic, at least once a week. Not a native speaker but in the practices, too lazy to actually get the diploma, I got an average of 9.7 out of 10 at the Cambridge C1 level, the CAE, second highest european level for foreign languages, so it should be no problem. Saga of Fallen Kings, Book I: The Revenant Prince
The Philosopher King once conquered the known world, his power seemingly unlimited and his armies inexhaustible. Since that time his might has slowly unravelled, and his once steadfast empire has begun to crack, splinter and devour itself. In the isolated Southern Realms, where even magic has abandoned them, none of that matters. For years it has been filled with warring kingdoms, where as many kings die to the blade as to old age, and constant battles tear apart the land. When one such kingdom invades its old enemy, the King and his heir, Prince Caden, are killed. Unable to accept the loss of his family Prince Arian is broken, and when the Philosopher King stretches out his hand in aid, Arian takes it without a second thought. When Caden wakes from death, he's different. His eyes and soul have changed, and he finds a world filled with friends who no longer trust he's even human. Suddenly thrust onto the throne and indebted to the Philosopher King, Caden has no choice but to keep going - he must finish what his father started, and try to survive the machinations of the figure who now owns his fealty. Meanwhile something beyond death stirs for him, desiring nothing more than to drag him back into its embrace. Author's Note: This story used to be known as "A King of his Own", but after some consideration I have decided to rebrand it. The first reason is that I was growing increasingly dissatisfied with the title. The second is that I have come increasingly to view this story as a 'saga' containing multiple 'books' rather than one long, continuous publication, and as I did so I realized that as I was quickly getting to a point in the story where I wanted the first 'book' to end. This doesn't mean I'm going back on the things I said below - they're just going to continue in the next book of the Saga of Fallen Kings. :) Also, be aware that I do plan to edit this at some point. Though I take care to squash out any obvious errors when I proof-read, and do simple edits in that process, at some point I'm almost certainly going to do large edits that might significantly change parts of the story. Old author's notes: This started as a completely random writing session. There was no purpose or direction, but as I kept typing an entire world began to form in my mind that I knew I had to write about. My plan is to turn this story into a veritable medieval fantasy epic that spans an entire world, follows multiple character and storylines, and takes place over many years. The story has quite a grounded, almost 'realistic' start, but many more fantastical elements will be introduced, expanded upon and become central to the narrative. I have ideas for this story that make me genuinely excited and I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy writing it, and join me on what will hopefully become a truly massive fantasy epic. If you do enjoy this story please consider following, rating and leaving a review. I'm also happy to answer any questions or comments you have. Another world
For some, this old story would always be altered, but the outcome was always the same. 'The Evening Celebration.' Some blame humanity for provoking them, while others accuse monsters from another realm, and a few believed it was all merely the devil's fault. There is now a killer in the city. Attacking all the young ladies, pulling something from within them, and abandoning them on the doorsteps of their loved ones. Exactly similar to the old story. Will this issue ever be resolved, or will it be the start of something new? Ignoring the matter is also an option. Continuing with their everyday routine is generally a wise decision. That's just for the time being, of course. Till the plot leads them to someone they should have never encountered.
