《Loved By A Vampire King》Chapter 327 - Painless Death!

•••ROYAL CASTLE,BALVINA •••
Cedric left no room for discussion. Since he made promise to her family that he would shield her from any danger, he was going to stick to his promise through blood and sour. Regarding the punishment, in reality Ayra never deserved it. It was his own family members who pushed her life into danger.
Sirius was considered to be the purest creature in any form. Harming them was the greatest sin for the creatures across the lands of BRIGHTMOON. When the Dixon Clan finally managed to tame those scary creatures, they made promise to the leader of Sirius that they would serve them with utmost respect. If any forms of harms happened to them, the culprit must be punished to maintain the balance between their statuses. In that case, Ayra had broken the law and was bound to accept the punishment. If she didn't accept the punishment, the head of Sirius would appear out from his ancient cave and would create havoc across Balvina.
Ayra wasn't aware of anything. She was resting on the bed when Cedric showed up inside her room with a bowl of hot water. His expression was cloudy. Ayra didn't notice at the first glance.
He sat by her side without saying a word and started to warm her swallowed feet. Ayra looked down at her flawless feet and mumbled with unsurity,
" Why didn't I feel it when I got those bruises?"
She spoke before looking up at Cedric whose face was full of complicated emotions. Cedric parted his lips open slightly, eyes laid on her feet and explained shortly,
" It's by that Sirius. They have the ability of killing someone silently."
Ayra's mouth agaped in disbelief partially. Opening her lips again, she spoke while flaunting her eyes amusingly,

" So you meant that I could be killed without being notified."
Cedric kept his answer short and responded with a smug grin after glancing up at her,
" Precisely! A painless death! "
Ayra was awestruck after his explaination. She never expected that a creature like them could be bleeded or killed without being notified. She mumbled back stunningly,
" That's horrible! "
She commented before tilting her head up to stare at Cedric who went into his mute mood again. Her brows frowned in confusion as she asked with curiousity,
" Did.. Did..I do any crime? I..I hurt that creature! "
Cedric paused between his task a little and glanced up at Ayra unblinkingly. He scoffed with arrogancy after resuming his task on her feet,
" You are allowed to harm everyone in BRIGHTMOON. Your husband has the ability of claiming each kingdom.
What are you afraid of doing?"
Ayra rolled her eyes at him helplessly and scoffed back,
" You are always so full of yourself."
Cedric shook his head while replying,
" I am just being honest, love. It's not called boasting but pride."
Her mind drifted off to the moment when Cedric's stern voice managed to control her powers. She frowned harder before asking again,
" I forgot to ask you! How did you manage to stop me at that time? Even I had no control over myself."
Cedric spreaded into a grin and replied pulling her gown down with caution,
" Because you love me too much! "
Ayra growled pouting her lips together,
" Stop joking! You know that I do not love you. Tell me, how did you do it?"
Cedric sighed helplessly. She was sometimes too straightforward with her words and forgot to pay attention that she had deeply offended someone's feelings.

Cedric ignored the after effect of her words and explained patiently,
" I did it because I had more dominance than you. If someone who is higher than yourself use his strength flowing voice to command you with authority, your beast side is bound to kneel down. That's what I did when you have no control."
Ayra hummed with understanding and mumbled with a bitter smile,
" Lucky you got there on time or else I would have killed it already."
Cedric suggested standing up and placing the bowl over the table beside her bed,
" You must learn how to control your powers or else you will invite more troubles for you. In that case, I can actually teach you how to control your powers."
Ayra was little surprised. She spoke opening her mouth in disbelief,
" You? You will teach me? How can I keep such highly profiled master? How much coins I have to pay for your teaching?"
Cedric turned around to look at her teasing smile. His mood got better. Scratching his nose awkwardly, he eyed on her figure deeply and replied with a chuckle,
" Why bother to pay me coins? You have the biggest treasure to give me."
Ayra's grin paused abruptly. Her eyes kept staring at him with confusion as she asked with doubt,
" What is it?"
Cedric smiled cheekily and walked over to her tiptoeing. When he scooted closer, Ayra instinctively swallowed hard under his intense eyes. She saw him grinning and then heard his shameless respond,
" Your Body! "
Ayra choked before looking up at him with her widen eyes. Her face reddened before words came out angrily,
" You..You.. actually thought about.. using my body to teach me? How perverted creature you are! "
Cedric pretended to be innocent and spoke with a shrug,
" You found it malicious? Fine! Let's switch the subject. You can use my body as a repayment."
Ayra squeezed her eyes shut in annoyance and spoke between her gritted teeth,
" What's the difference?"
Cedric pondered before replying with an evil grin,
" There is a lot of differenciation love. I am explaining you in short. If you think about the exact differenciation, then you should be saying like this. You are up and I am down."
Ayra's mouth hung open in awe disbelievingly. His mouth uttered those words so naturally as if they were married for ages. Her cheeks started to flame in fire. To hide her embarrassement, she picked up the pillow from her side and threw it on Cedric's face yelling out loudly,
" You pervert! Get out of here! Shameless! Narcissistic! "

Ætla Verǫld
AV Online was just a flash in the pan—a harsh, experimental land which lost most of its players in mere weeks. Only the dedicated few remained, carving out their destinies in corners of the vast abandoned world. Lily Quinn wasn't one of them. With a career worth millions in the esports world, she didn't have time for a game like Avo—but when an exclusive beta test for the new version showed up on her doorstep, she couldn't say no… as much as she wanted to. Literally hooked into the simulation, Lily reluctantly entered a world beyond anything she'd ever dreamed of. Accompanied by seven other beta testers desperate to save their beloved game, Lily dives into a vibrant, beautiful world, where mystery and adventure waits around every corner. Despite her reservations, Lily finds a joyful escape in Avo, shattering her cold, hollow reality. It was just a game though… until the group discovered they couldn't log out. Trapped in a game with no rules, and surrounded by cutthroat players eager to kill for a quick windfall, Lily and her ragged band have no choice but to fight their way out, or die in a game that has turned all too real. Hi there! I'm setting off on yet another adventure, come join me :3 Unusually for me, there's only one perspective this time, and it's quite a bit more action-oriented than I usually write. Don't worry, though: everything's still as character-driven as always, and I never get tired of writing dialogue. Just to acknowledge it up front: this story is heavily inspired by EVE Online and the many stories generated by that world. However, since this is a fantasy setting, not sci-fi, don't expect any real parallels. Chapter publish rate for this one will be whenever I write them, as with Epilogue. I don't expect to move as fast here though, since it's not for NaNo. The plan is chapters somewhere in the 4k-5k range, and hopefully frequently. The Last Science takes priority as always though. Special thanks to Reaver and Ace Arriande for pushing me to get this going, and to all my fellow writers whom I've stolen from been inspired by. You're all wonderful people and I love you Quick reminder: Patrons get to read ahead of what's published! Also, try my other works: The Last Science — A Tale of Modern Magic Epilogue — A Post-Fantasy Psychodrama What are you still doing on the synopsis? Get to reading! Cover art (fullsize): Forgotten World Coliseum, by taenaron (Tobias Roetsch), modified by Etzoli. YAOS 1 - Limitless Adventures - Yet Another OP Story Book 1
December 23rd 2018: Book 1 is now up at Smashwords and at Amazon. December 30th 2018: V1.1.2 of YAOS Book 1 is out, some content additions, fixed typos. Amazon's enhanced typesetting now displays tables properly. YAOS is shown through the eyes of some genius athlete getting OP inside a VR, ah wait, Full Immersion game, ?F.I.O?. Not a Hero, not a Nerd, just a driven individual paying for mistakes made, biding time until he can return to the Real World. He isn't defined like you'd normally do it, you can pick his looks and name all on your own, just like you do in video games. Believe it or not, keeping his looks undefined is harder than you think. His backstory isn't expounded in detail, but it drives his choices. Book 1 isn't about depressing sob stories but about fun and rushing forward, pursuing new horizons. Oh, and you'll end on a cliffhanger! Well, most serials do, so you will probably expect that without being told explicitly. But it isn't that bad, there's a lot of reveals and more to come once this book, that is the first in a planned three-part series, is finally ready for release on amazon et al. The published version will have: 1.) Godawful speaker tags, I hate them, they make you stop thinking and speed up editing so much. In hindsight they should have been in to begin with. But I stand by my goals proclaimed earlier. You guys should think while reading, that is the whole point of the exercise. Apply the knowledge and ideas, improve yourself, get creative! 2.) Pretty colored tables, the damned blue boxes, a lot of work, 69 in one book. Finally fixed amazon's centering issue. Can't say I liked the hours needed to debug that. 3.) The promised Mitara chapters. 4.) A cover! 5.) And lastly, updated polished versions of several chapters. MC shares more of his past, some terrible chapters (esp. 32) finally work. Some new scenes, minor rewrites in parts. Text flow and other issues. The current challenge is to maintain essential ambiguity while satisfying people wanting to know more without thinking three steps ahead. Balancing one with the other is tough. The smut which was in remains, but the story told is not to be superseded by it. A 15+ rating for the first book is also important, not to mention, YAOS wasn't meant to contain any smut to begin with. If the Author can turn to writing full time his output should increase, so please support YAOS #1 once it does finally release. ~Thank You~ No maps so far, that should be in, but is really hard to get done right. Again, tips are appreciated. Update September 2017: Stubbed chapters, sorry guys, currently don't have time to upload them elsewhere, polishing book 1 and 2, writing 3, takes precedence. Book 1 is in heavy editing, too much to keep synced and continuing editing. I'd need a site which offers JS-free rapid managing of chapters and comments. Coding one myself or setting a premade up is out of scope until I'm done with the books. RRL-old offered that, nuff said. This is only here because the author believes in fairies, nobody reads this, most likely. October to December 2017: Life threw some curveballs. February 2018: Book 2 draft 1 completed, at ~150K words. Book 2 is fairly epic in scope, requires 1 rewritten chapter, some editing. Tables and miscellanea are in, but needs at least a grammar pass. March 2018: Book 3 at 28k words, first arc, rest needs serious planning for spin-off and satisfying conclusion. July 2018: Yet another proofing/editing session of books 1-3, 101+ chapters, ~300k words. B3 at 48k, starts out great, but no ETA, no wordcount limit, in flux. But prioritizing my writing cannot be done, I hate the delays as much as you, but you will prefer the whole released in a timely fashion rather than wait. Knowing myself how excruciating waiting can be, at least you'll get significantly polished versions and an ETA on book 2 by release of book 1. December 23rd 2018: Book 1 is now up at Smashwords and in the process at Amazon et. al.. . To all who wait patiently, offered feedback, thanks again!
