On the cold night, Del was browsing through Pidma's menu for tomorrow's preparation. He wanted some explosives in case there were more armored enemies waiting for him when he went to the area where Lize could be waiting for him. Cole was sleeping soundly with the snore that was only comparable to a loudspeaker.
[That was close, wasn't it?]
"Well, it was close, but not too close," Del commented.
[You really should prepare more. In this world, anything seems to be possible, don't you think? Even 7.62 rounds don't always work as intended. At this point, I really suggest you to buy something heavy]
"The thing is, my machine gun is quite heavy," Del said.
[Why don't you ask Cassandra to carry the heavy stuff for you, you know, it's a good idea to invest in a Barrett M82A1.]
"No, I don't want that vampire to carry something as powerful as Barrett M82A1, even I won't let her touch the G3."
[I see, but Del, you need to learn to trust her more. Right now, the more guns that you have, the better it will become. The first rule of a gunfight is you have to bring a gun, preferably bring at least two guns and also bring all of your friends who have guns. The only friend that has guns right now is only Cole, you need more.]
"Hell no, Cassandra is strong enough without a gun, do you really want to turn her into a real threat?" Del asked.
[Real threat? Hasn't she always been a real threat?]

Suddenly someone opened Del's tent. Cassandra showed up. Del forgot that Cassandra was guarding the camping site for tonight. He might overhear the conversation with Pidma, "A real threat, huh? I will take that as a compliment."
Del was surprised, "Wait, you listened?"
"Oh, I listened, I thought you were talking with Cole, but I figure that Cole won't even understand what you are talking about. Still, who are you really talking with?" Cassandra asked.
"Emm, someone?" Del made an excuse.
"Really? Wolfie is not even inside of this tent, he is sleeping outside," Cassandra said.
"Emm, well, I was talking with my spirit," Del said.
"Spirit, huh? I understand. It's quite rare to see someone have a spirit. Do you really want to tell me about it?" Cassandra said.
"No thanks, it's quite a private thing. Could you leave me with my spirit? I was having a conversation with it before you suddenly appeared."
"Sure, after you give me an explanation why you see me as a very real threat," Cassandra crossed his hands, demanding an explanation about why Del called him a real threat.
Del sighed, "Well, since you have eavesdropped on me, I'll tell you why. First, like it or not, you're the first person in this world that successfully almost killed me. Second, you're the same person that resisted my magical tool. And lastly, we haven't known each other for a very long time."
"I understand your skepticism. However, you should remember that I'm a doctor, and protecting Cole is still my job. Like it or not, if you were really his slaver, I really will kill you because Cole is still my junior that I have to protect," Cassandra explained.
"Fair enough, it's not like I have any grudge with you, but I still have to be careful around you, I hope you understand," Del said.

"I understand," Cassandra nodded and she eventually got out of the tent.
Del returned in interacting with Pidma to decide what equipment that would fit him best when he headed for Lize's location tomorrow. There might be an unknown threat that they would need to face tomorrow. Besides, preparing wouldn't hurt anyone.
[Is she gone?]
"More or less," Del said.
[More or less? You are not so sure about it?]
"Yeah, you can put it like that, I'm not really sure whether Cassandra is eavesdropping on us or not."
[It seems that she won't kill you even if she knows my existence. Anyway, back to the main topic, we can say for sure that there might be another armored threat on our way to Lize's place]
"I agree with that, still, I am looking for a solution that won't require me to spend too much money. For now, Pidma, I think C4 is the best solution so far. Still, I don't think the budget will be our limiting factor since I haven't looted the body around this campsite."
[What do you want to buy, Del?]
"I want to buy the replacement for my spent ammunition for now, as you might know, I have spent three box of 200 rounds belt now. I also want to buy a better round, I think the round that I'm using now is really lacking in its ability to bust a shield open," Del commented.
[Alright. Displaying Available 7.62 Rounds]

"I don't want to take any chance, I want to buy an APS ammunition, 600 rounds of it."
[Alrighty. Dispensing Item. Remaining Balance: 1340$]
The ammunition appeared in boxes and the boxes could be attached to Del's gun. All of the rounds were sabot rounds. It should be enough to penetrate the shield or any armor that Del's enemies might be wearing.
[You should take off the muzzle break in your M240. It's not compatible with sabot rounds.]
"Sure," Del grabbed the machine gun right next to his sleeping bag and released the muzzle break from his machine gun.
[Anyway, this round is capable of penetrating heavy armor on Earth. This should suffice to penetrate the shield that you faced before.]
"Ah, I see, good to hear that," Del said.
[My pleasure.]
Del put his machine gun near his sleeping bag and he went to sleep again although Cole was snoring pretty loudly.. Tomorrow would be a long day and Del needed to prepare himself fully for tomorrow rescue operation.

Ode to Fallen Angels
Jericho, the land of humanity, squirms in pain. Magic has been forbidden for so long in this so called "Age of Silence", that all Arcane knowledge has been presumed lost and irrecoverable, and the echoes of God's Will grow fainter with every passing year. The sight of Demihuman caravans is less frequent every day, as the likes of orcs and elves have learned to no longer beg for help from those who despise them. Clearly, they can expect more from the voracious wild lands than from humankind. Many have succumbed to despair, some driven mad by their fruitless efforts to bring back a Golden Age that they only ever read about in books. And in the middle of it all, in an old chapel lost in the Eastern lands, young Gabrielle lives in complete ignorance. She is another orphan living under the mercy of the Church of the Saints; one bearing the mark of evil in her red hair, the telltale sign of a Witch. In an Age of the Silent, the Prejudiced, and the Hateful, she clings to a single hope: that one day, be it in life or maybe after it all ends, she may find herself forgiven of her sin. The sin of being born.

Imagine Being a Rare
The world of mobile games is harsh on wallets and harsher on the characters. How do you stand out in an crowd of designs calculated to attract attention from whales? A new gameplay mode will give them a chance to rise above their rarity, they think. All they need are courage, kindness, and wisdom.
