"Was that absolutely necessary?" nick asked once the phenomena stopped. the goddess shrugged "he asked for it" she said calmly. "well that might be true but was it really necessary to cause such a big phenomenon when answering him." nick complained having a headache at how large this situation is quickly becoming. the young man looked at nick in horror as he listened to him complain about the goddess's actions like he didn't care that she was one of the strongest beings on the world. nick looked at the young man disdainfully "so about what you had asked before about whether i wanted to make an enemy of your clan , do you still want an answer to that?" nick asked mockingly. the young man shook his head vigorously "i don't dare threaten you at this point!" he said frightened. nick nodded "well that's good now since that bit of business is completed you may go , oh and try to warn any others with the same idea as you that i don't want to be bothered for such pointless things." nick said before slipping into the dark space with the goddess.

The young man let out a breath of relief when nick left with the goddess before he hastily fled the swamp with his companions and swore he would spread the news that nick had a deity favoring him heavily. meanwhile nick and the goddess returned to the base where tyrion and azdra were playing with each other which nick ignored before heading to the training spot and began to practice with yin yun who had just woken up after being sealed by the spirit of the inheritance since she was too powerful. "so do you think i could get a bit of wine from you after we get done stretching?" she asked while clashing with nick sending out minor shockwaves. indeed to nick such a violent clash could only be considered a warmup and since weapon spirits at yin yuns level mirrored the strength of their owners she also considered such a clash as the same. "well after a good workout i don't mind letting you drink a bit since you had been sealed till earlier." nick said while intensifying the clashes by a level. yin yun smiled brightly before going all out forcing nick to do the same.

The air quivered from the near constant sonic booms coming out of the area where the blurred shapes of yin yun and nick clashed in an epic fashion. this bout went on for another thirty minutes before ending with both nick and yin yun looking well spent and satisfied even though for very different reasons. yin yun carried a small jug of wine while nick had steam rising off of him from the heat of his body. it was at this point that elder sun showed up on the floating base with an expression surprise as well as envy showing that he was aware that the base was high in the air hidden in the clouds.
