"It would be strange if i didn't know about it since i helped my friend create it with the small amount of time they had left." the elder wyrm said calmly. nick was stunned and confused at the same time at the wyrms words. "if that's true why did you send me rather than someone from the welk clan?" nick asked not understanding. the wyrm sighed "while i would have loved to send one of them to get my old friends inheritance after searching through every generation of the welk clan till now none of them had the abilities to pass all of the test , or rather no single one could pass every test alone." the wyrm said sadly and hearing the conversation the clan leader wanted to complain but after comparing all of the welk clan to nick not a single one truly measured up so he remained quiet. "i understand why you didn't send one of the welk clan members but why didn't you just tell me your true purpose rather than sending me on a wild goose chase?" nick asked slightly angry at being deceived.

The wyrm laughed at nicks childlike attitude "hahaha , i sometimes forget that even though you seem older you are only fourteen at the moment so it was funny seeing your attitude." the wyrm said calmly. "your only fourteen!?" the clan leader exclaimed incredulously. nick looked confused at the clan leaders outburst "is that strange?" nick asked confused. the clan leader looked frustrated "strange? of course it's strange that means you only took around seven years for you to reach where you're at now , that's ridiculously fast!" the clan leader yelled angrily. "how is that fast jakob is around my age and he is only slightly lower than me in terms of cultivation." nick said defending himself. both the clan leader and the elder wyrm froze before looking at nick with an odd look. "how old do you think jakob is?" the clan leader asked solemnly. "isn't he around seventeen or so?" nick asked confused. the clan leader exchanged glances with the elder wyrm before the wyrm spoke "jakob is thirty two and it took him from the age of seven to reach where he is currently." the wyrm explained calmly. nick froze for a moment and he wanted to argue that it made no sense but he could tell from the look on the twos faces that they weren't lying.

'It would probably be a bad idea to mention the six year coma so i'm going to avoid that' nick thought. "right so i'm just going to act like this conversation never happened and go back to my regular life." nick said before pausing for a moment "speaking of , azdra you coming?" nick said which caused the dog sized reptile to bound over to him and rub its head against his leg affectionately.
