Nick already decided that he would take most of the things in his residence leaving only the qi gathering array and the unimportant pieces in his crafting rooms since besides the qi gathering array none of the other things he is going to leave are very high tier and even the array is only tier 2 since when he created it his cultivation was sealed preventing him from making it better. then there was of course the griffons nest he had just founded which would undoubtedly become one of the leading organizations in this new era but that's the entire reason he he created it was so the whole world will remember that he was here. yes that was the true reason he built the griffons nest rather than just teaching the orphans like he did with the king and nobles. nick knew that after he returned to the other world that since very few people knew of him in this world that as time passed he would end up forgotten entirely unless he left something that was extremely hard to ignore and as soon as he found the orphanage he had the idea to turn it into that thing.

What nick was unaware of was that simple by teaching the nobles how to contract beast he had already solidified his place in this worlds history. while nick was planning out his exit strategy the spirit in charge of the test was having a headache since nick had once again made the test pointless while simultaneously causing the world to leap unprepared into a cultivation era which caused a massive imbalance to show up as the beast started to mutate in droves instantly knocking humanity to the bottom of the food chain as the beast immediately slaughtered the places that had little protection such as villages while places like walled cities only faired a little better since the walls allowed for a weak defense which prevented humanity from going extinct immediately. the spirit was at least a little surprised at nicks action of freely passing the method to cultivate as well as that of professions which allowed those in the capital city to begin to reach a balance with the beast , though the spirit could only pity the rest of the humans as none of them had someone like nick to let them resist.

The spirit wanted to call the test finished since at this point nick had completed the objective of taking over the kingdom as if he told someone to jump they would ask how high which in itself is a type of leading even if it is only because nick was considered the only hope for humanity by the nobles including the king. soon the spirit decided that it would be honest with nick and tell him that he completed the test but he needed to give the rest of humanity on the world a helping hand before he could leave since it was his fault they were in this situation to begin with.
