The griffon didn't know how to respond to nick since it truly wanted to be free and so it was quite conflicted since as far as it could tell it would need to lose its freedom in order to accept the offer nick was giving it. nick didn't interrupt the creatures thoughts since he was sure he had deceived it perfectly. nick knew that in all honesty that so long as nothing killed this creature it would be practically guaranteed to reach the heights he told it about. after thinking it over for a few minutes the creature agreed to stay with nick on the condition that he wouldn't lock it in a cage again to which nick agreed immediately. nick bit his thumb forcefully sending sparks flying before he managed to cause himself to drip out a single drop of blood before the would closed before he pressed his thumb unto the creatures forehead and created a contract of equals which the creature accepted causing the drop of blood to be absorbed . on the griffons forehead a symbol of a circle with half black and half white appeared like a strange tattoo and on nicks left hand a symbol of three eyes appeared thus showing the contract was established.

Nick decided not to explain anything that just happened to the confused bellania before he messed with her so he opened the cage letting the griffon out before looking at bellania who immediately paled as she remembered what nick said about the strength of the creature if he succeeded. through the contract the creature could understand what nick was doing and decided to play along and walked out of the cage and then looked at the poor girl and licked its beak looking like it wanted to eat her. bellania panicked and bolted for the door but nick started laughing which caught her attention and she stopped running for the door and looked back only to see both nick and the creature cracking up while looking at her. she could immediately tell that she had been tricked and began fuming but both the two others just laughed harder at her. "how dare you trick me !" she yelled angrily. nick managed to stop laughing "oh please it was too easy to trick you i just couldn't help myself." he said with a grin while the griffon nodded its head in agreement.

Bellania huffed angrily but didn't make to much of a fuss about the joke. having showed bellania the process of evolution for a creature as he said he would he showed her his cultivation chamber which practically made her jaw drop from the sheer amount of qi in the room from the array not to mention the super attractive materials that lined the wall as a layer of insulation. nick smirked when he saw her expression while the griffon immediately made itself comfortable in the corner of the room before falling into a cultivation slumber.
