Nick decided to pass the week by cultivating in silence however he was interrupted after a day when he felt an angry aura outside the house. 'that took longer than i thought it would' he thinks to himself while standing up. walking out of the house calmly nick looked at the person who had come and as expected it was jakobs father or more accurately the leader of the welk clan. "good evening is there something i can help you with?" nick asked calmly. the clan leader huffed angrily "you can start by telling me why you gave us two useless recipes." he said barely maintaining a civil tone. nick acted shocked "useless you say? i myself have used those recipes many times and i have never had any problem with them so how can they be useless?" nick asked while acting confused. the clan leader frowned "can you prove that?" he asked confused. nick grinned "of course , watch." nick said before taking out his refining furnace. the clan leader was stunned speechless at nicks actions and couldn't help but doubt whether the clan alchemist were all wrong.

Nick was snickering internally since he was well aware that by showing the clan leader him successfully concocting the two pills that he could get away with scamming the clan. nick pulled out each of the ingredients and showed them to the clan lead who nodded in confirmation that they were the same ingredients as were listed on the recipes. after showing all the ingredients nick created a blue qi flame which he used to heat the furnace up to temperature. once the furnace reached the optimal heat nick quickly began to add the ingredients in the order specified on the recipes. as the ingredients melted nick secretly used his method by disguising it as the standard method to bring forward the wanted properties. once the ingredients had been turned into their base essences nick began to fuse them while compressing them which was the pill formation stage which required complete control of ones energy. a few moments later a light ding rang out from the furnace signaling the completion of the pills. nick removed the batch of pills which numbers six of each kind before handing one of each to the clan leader. the clan leader no longer thought something was wrong with the recipes since he had seen them being successfully made.

"It would seem it was a mistake on our end i apologize for doubting you , I'll leave you in peace now." the clan leader said before vanishing. nick simply walked back into the house all while laughing to himself. meanwhile in a cavern of massive proportions jakob was standing in front of a gigantic reptile with dull brown scales and winged front limbs , indeed this was the wyrm azdra was brought to. "how unusual." a deep baritone voice rumbled through the air. "what is it sir?" jakob asked respectfully. the giant wyrm points at azdra who was sitting on jakobs shoulder looking curiously at the giant creature in front of him. "that little one is considered royalty amongst wyrmkind yet here it is being raised by a human rather than its parents , it is very unusual." the wyrm says seriously. jakob nods "the goddess said the same thing though she didn't mention anything about him being royalty." jakob said honestly. " that is to be expected since the gods are purposefully left out of that information." the wyrm said before continuing. "i will need to meet the young man who is raising the little one before i decide anything." the wyrm said with authority.
