nick rubbed his chin in thought for a moment before answering "well from what i can think of i have a few weakness though most of them are simply because of what i believe." he said calmly. jakob shook his head "basically any weakness you have is on a personal level." he said while waiting for his body to finish healing. nick chuckled but didn't say anything since there was no need to before narrowing his eyes because he felt the pill he gave jakob finish its work. jakob noticed this as well and stood up before swinging the sword a few times to get used to it and taking his stance again. nick wordlessly started charging towards jakob instantly reaching speeds that made it difficult for jakob to react to but not impossible. jakob swung the sword at nicks throat forcing him to change directions or risk losing his head in response nick did something that can only be described as crazy , nick accelerated and threw his feet forward under the sword and with his upper body fell beneath the sword before he pulled his legs up and used his arms to brace himself before bullfrog kicking jakob in the c.h.e.s.t or at least he would have had the goddess not grabbed jakob the instant before he did.

jakob knew he would have been dead had he not been grabbed so he thanked the goddess before yelling angrily at nick. "what the f.u.c.k was that!" nick grinned "that was me pointing out a weakness of yours." he said with a grin. jakob fumed "there had to be a better way to do so then using it to almost kill me!" jakob yelled angrily. nick shrugged "if that's true then tell me what weakness i pointed out." he said with a wide grin. jakob froze simply because he had no clue since he did everything right as far as he could tell. "let me enlighten you then" nick said with a grin. "to be fair this weakness actually applies to most cultivators from what I've seen so don't feel to bad about it. the weakness is actually very simple really , when you enter combat you lack creativity meaning that if you go against someone who fights using only creativity then you will quickly be defeated unless you adapt instantly , this is a problem for most of the cultivators I've seen."

jakobs eyes grow wide as it hits him like an epiphany that the reason he felt he couldn't win against nick was that he refused to change himself so he could get past that mindset. nick laughed joyously when he saw the look of enlightenment on jakobs face. "yes it seems you finally understand the difference between me and every other cultivator you know , i fight however i feel necessary regardless of how unusual it seems." nick said with a genuine smile. both the goddess and lo mia were struck by the image of true happiness on nicks handsome face and at the same time both of their hearts ached that the reason for that happiness had nothing to do with them. "there's no more reason for me to train you now that you have figured out how to to grow closer to my level , a bit of advice before i head off though. remember a skill is only a guideline not a rule." nick said before he went into his room and left the three in the sanctuaries yard each deep in their own thoughts.
