"Wait, immune to weapons below tier five!? that ridiculous!" lo mia exclaimed. nick winced at how loud lo mia's voice was. "what did you think something so difficult would have low gains?" nick said sarcastically. both the girls held out their hands "gimme" they both said at the same time to which could only click his tongue. taking four more pills out of his inventory nick handed each of the women as pair of pills one white the other red. before either could take the pills nick spoke to the goddess "i think it necessary to tell you that the effect these pills have differs from person to person so you might not get much of an effect since your body is already far stronger than normal due to your strength." he said seriously. the goddess frowned but understood why such a thing would happen since it was quite common for pills at lower tiers to have no effect on cultivators at higher tiers. after nodding to nick to show that she understood the goddess and lo mia each sat on the ground in the lotus position and swallowed the white pills and bracing themselves for whatever came next. lo mia collapsed a few moments later after her bones were shattered and rebuilt three times over. the goddess however only felt a brief itch on her bones before nothing else happened. after going through each of their own experiences the two girls had two different expressions , lo mia looked reluctant while the goddess looked disappointed.

"so it worked right for lo mia but seemed to have no effect on you hmm." nick said to the goddess who looked sad. "i felt a brief itch on my bones but then nothing." the goddess says with a sigh. nick nodded "so it did have an effect it was simply too weak to do what it was intended to." nick rubs his chin in thought before he comes to a decision. "hand me the last pill i gave you and I'll give you two of the pills i use since your body should be only slightly stronger than my own." nick said while taking out a pill bottle made of jade and handing it to the goddess. "wait why didn't you give all of us those pills from the start?" lo mia asked confused. nick shrugged "because i didn't know how strong each of your bodies were so if you weren't strong enough you would most likely die in agony or if you somehow managed to survive you would wish you had died." he said factually. "you can't possibly know that for sure. " lo mia argued. nick chuckled "how painful was that first pill i gave you?" he asked with a grin. lo mia tried to retort but she simply couldn't as she knew what nick was going to say. indeed nick continued after he saw her grow silent. "the pills i gave all three you you were only tier 1 pills the ones i use are tier 3 so its easy to imagine how much stronger they are compared to each other." he said with a grin of victory.

nick stopped grinning as he sensed something and stood up before turning towards jakob who had stopped writhing on the ground. jakob g.r.o.a.n.e.d as he tried to stand up but instead misjudged his strength and pushed to hard with his right hand launching himself sideways into the sanctuary's wall with a loud bang. "ow" was heard loudly escaping his lips shortly afterwards.
