A week had passed since nick had created a dating routine and started attending classes that he was interested in at the academy. the classes he attended were world history , qi control , botany and the rest of his time he spent either training or on dates with one of the multitude of girls who vie for his hand constantly. it had actually become something of a running joke that he was the most sought after resource at the academy. truth be told nick would prefer to be left alone so he could focus on growing stronger however it had become a well established fact that he was stronger than most second tier students while only being a first tier student. there was actually a funny story behind this , see on the first day of classes for new students a second tier student who happened to see nick on his way to class tried to intimidate him to which nick stared at the man like no more than an irritation. this of course caused the man to become enraged , and in his rage he tried to attack nick to which nick calmly bitch slapped the man literally through a tree. needless to say that man was in a near death state when an elder showed up to take the poor man to get healed. what most people didn't know was that the elder had been watching since the beginning and only acted when he had no other choice as if he didn't that second tier would likely die from his injuries. this was something common since the academy would have a far higher mortality rate otherwise as cultivators tend to become more eccentric as time goes on making violence extremely common.

After that incident nick was labeled prime meat and sought after by almost every female in the academy and a good portion of them weren't even human but rather dwarves ,elves , beastfolk and fairies. contrary to what nick was expecting aside from the beastfolk the females of the other races looked different then he was imagining. the fairies all looked very childlike with many different variations of wing types from bird to insect. the elves weren't the tall pale skinned people he thought but instead a multicolored race only as tall as a normal human. the dwarves were the race with the most far out of expectation looks having the appearance of living statues standing slightly taller than the majority of humans with narrow proportions. out of all of the women he had to deal with only two had successfully managed to get nick to accept their presence enough to even be considered friends. the two were none other than the goddess and lo mia who were currently trying to get azdra to let them get closer to nick safely. while it was true that azdra wouldn't attack the two when they approached anymore that only applied so long as they stayed at least five feet away.

"Can't you do something about azdra he still won't let us get close to you while he doesn't have a problem with jakob!" lo mia said in exasperation. in truth azdra was in fact lounging on jakobs shoulder who was sitting opposite nick with a focused expression. nick speaks without moving his eyes away from jakob "unlike jakob you two have a separate motive to try and get closer to me and azdra knows this , so to answer your question yes I could do something but I won't , just consider it an extra hurdle to get over." he said before putting jakobs king into checkmate.
