"that wyrm wasn't stolen from its parents right?" the goddess asked fearfully. nick shook his head "no idea i got the egg from the same sword sect that I got the bloodline from." he said honestly. the goddess thought for a moment "if that's true then it was probably found by a random member and brought back after it had been abandoned for some time." she finally said with a sigh of relief. nick was confused by the goddesses actions since he wasn't aware that godhood was simply another tier of cultivation. "is there some problem with azdra he seems pretty healthy to me." nick said showing confusion. the goddess was stunned at the question but quickly realized that nick had no idea about wyrms. "nothing is wrong with it health wise but you are at least aware that it is nearly completely defenseless at a young age right?" she asked seriously. nick nodded "so how do you think most wyrm reach their adolescence then?" she asked nick answered without thinking about it "they get the protection of something stronger..." nicks eyes widen as the realization hits him that the stronger thing is usually a highly protective parent if azdras behavior is anything to go by.

the goddess confirms his thoughts "just like you've probably just realized wyrms are usually extremely protective of their young however there are of course exceptions to everything and it seems you got lucky enough to find one." she said seriously. nick seemed to understand this while he looks over at azdra who is still hissing and aggressively fanning its winged limbs at the goddess. "well enough about the little one , how much of that conversion did you eavesdrop on?" nick asked while changing the subject. the goddess was happy for the change and answered immediately "since your friend over there carelessly used my title. honestly don't you know gods can tell when someone uses their name or title no matter where they are." she says with a grin. jakob coughs awkwardly after being called out. nick glares at jakob before turning back to the goddess "judging from your sudden intrusion I'm going to assume you find my idea acceptable" nick said calmly. the goddess blushed slightly "truth be told I have no idea how to pursue someone so I thought you have to literally chase them." she said with a bashful expression. both nick and jakob practically drop their jaws at what the goddess said. "where did you get your information about this stuff." nick couldn't help asking. the goddess looked at nick confused why he wanted to know "my sister Aphrodite told me why ?" she asked genuinely confused. jakob spoke up at this point "i think i see the problem here , lady goddess your sister Aphrodite is the goddess of physical love not emotional as a result the information she gave you probably only applies to that aspect of relationsh.i.p.s in summary it is useless until you have already successfully pursued someone." jakob said seriously.

it took the goddess a moment to process what jakob said before she turned bright red all the way to the tips of her ears while looking extremely embarrassed. both nick and jakob gulped down some saliva from how attractive she was acting like a normal girl. "well that aside we should figure out how this dating day would work." nick says trying to lighten the mood a little. he succeeds as the goddess starts grinning excitedly. meanwhile azdra had given up trying to frighten off the goddess whose very presence screamed danger to him which he ignored in favor of trying to protect his father which seemed to have been pointless in hindsight , unfortunately azdra was the kind of being that was willing to harm himself against an opponent he had no chance against in order to protect those he cares about.
