"besides the curse will go away in a month so just deal with it." nick said after calming down. on the principals face a vein popped up from anger "boy i could end you right now to get rid of this curse." the principal said while releasing some bloodl.u.s.t. nick just smiled and shook his head "first your bloodl.u.s.t needs seasoning" he said while releasing his own bloodl.u.s.t which was so thick it actually started to physically manifest into a red mist around him.

"second i made sure that the curse had nothing to do with me after i released it by giving a few years off my lifespan." he said casually. the principals eyes grow wide at how potent nicks bloodl.u.s.t was as well as what he said. "you are f.u.c.k.i.n.g insane boy !" the principal yelled before lowering his head in defeat. "you win boy what do you want?" the principal said lowly. nick was surprised at the principals behavior but understood the question "i want what i was promised when i came here , safety and knowledge no more and no less." nick said calmly. now it was the principal and old suns turn to be surprised "that is it?" they both said stupefied. nick chuckled at their reaction "as i said earlier that curse is no more than a warning ,in truth it was a warning to the entire academy not to break promises or there would be consequences and while i can understand things beyond anyone's control like the demon invasion but the other two times were both unacceptable."

After coming to an understanding nick went back to where he sent jakob to apologize. jakob was very understanding since he had roughly understood nicks character by now. "so that beauty was a literal goddess huh can't say i'm not a little jealous of your luck with women." jakob says sarcastically. nick threw up his hands in exasperation "honestly i'm trying to stay single yet its like some omniscient force is trying to ruin that idea." he said causing the author to chuckle a little.

After chatting for a while the two went back to nicks sanctuary where jakob also had a stunned expression but nick was used to it by this point. in the end nick added an extra room for jakob since his sanctuary was the best place to cultivate in the entire academy. after that the two did a bit of training together and by training it was mostly nick smacking jakob around with his aura to get him used to it. several hours later jakob had finally managed to not be affected by nicks aura. jakob immediately went to cultivate since he was tired while nick went into his room to figure out what to do with the egg he got.

nick spent the next day trying to figure out how to incubate the damn thing and in anger threw a burst of law at the thing which surprisingly worked as it was s.u.c.k.e.d into the egg before the egg went silent again. this caught nicks attention and he began to feed his law force into the egg which was getting more and more active as time went on until an entire day had gone by when the egg shook slightly as a crack appeared on it. nick watched as the creature struggled its way out from the egg to reveal a strange looking creature with a short serpentine body covered in shimmering cobalt scales and four limbs the front two were leathery wings that ended in six claws. the two back legs were like those of a dog but covered scales and ending in six claws like the front limbs. the strange creature had a long snout that was filled in many sharp teeth and had two small black horns on the back of its head with a row of spikes down the center of its back , the creature was obviously some kind of dragon.
