Nick froze when he heard this because it simply made no sense . as if understanding nick thoughts the spirit speaks up angrily. "You are probably trying to figure out how a failed sword could gain a spirit right?! It because of that stupid creator of mine! He wanted to create the most powerful yang attribute sword but because he pushed the amount of yang energy to the most extreme I ended up a yin attribute weapon and so he listed me as a failure rather than himself!" The spirit explains obviously extremely angry at its previous owner. Nick was speechless at this explanation as it was still illogical that something so amazing as a law flipped sword could be considered as anything but amazing. Even after understanding why the sword was out here originally he couldn't understand why it was still here after all this time so he asked. "OK so I know why you were put out here originally but I can't understand for the life of me why no one took you before now?" He said questioningly. "oh, that's simple my previous owner refused to let anyone use a failure so he placed extremely dangerous traps around the outside of this building which only activate when someone grabs one of the swords here." The spirit says with a hint of regret. "Someone tried to take you and died didn't they?" Nick asked. "Yes" the spirit say lightly. Nick nodded before making a plan. "Did your previous owner know the space law?" " no but he knew how it worked." Nick cursed that the first plan wouldn't work. "Hey if you were to get attacked would the traps still activate!" Nick asked when a crazy idea popped in his head. The sword spirit was confused at the question but answered anyway. "I don't think so since that bastard would actually probably be happy to have someone rid him of his failures." It said sadly. "OK so I have an idea but you're not going to like it." Nick said seriously. "If I'm following your thoughts then no I'm not going to enjoy this." The sword said. "Then I suggest you brace yourself." Nick said while cupping his hands in front of his c.h.e.s.t. Bright beams of light escape from the cracks between his hands as a low hum fills the air. "I need to know where you're at !" Nick says while struggling with the attack he's holding. One of the swords let's out a dim glow briefly but that's enough for him the find it. Nick holds his hands towards the sword before yelling "brace now!" Before opening his hands releasing a beam of energy towards the sword. The beam rapidly approaches the sword send the earth around it and the other failed swords flying in different directions. Right before it hits the sword a energy barrier covers the blade protecting it before it goes flying. Nick watches where the sword lands before he carefully walks over to it "you alright ?" He says tentatively. All is silent for a moment. "Remind me never to trust you to rescue anyone ever." The sword complained. Nick grins before picking up the sword and examining it. The sword was about four feet long in total with a double sided thin blade with icy blues flames etched on it. The hand was actually a bright red bone connected to the blade with some sort of black metal.
