《The destruction and creation system》Chapter 71 - Weapon

Nick ignored the first few buildings since those had signs of being raised already before quickly coming to an area that had been left untouched. There were five buildings in the area each with different styles of design causing the area to look like a disjointed housing complex. One building in particular caught nicks attention as it radiated a faint but distinct aura . the building was made almost entirely of metal arrayed in an odd patchwork manor causing the building to be hideous in appearance. As nick got closer he noticed various broken or Rusty swords stabbed into the ground around the building making it look like a sword graveyard.
"Those are all failed creations." A pleasant female voice spoke out from nearby anger filled its words. Nicks hair stood on end when he heard the voice as he had no idea there was someone nearby. He used the system to try and pinpoint the person's location nearby but even that failed making both shocked and horrified at what that meant. "Kid you won't be able to find me simply by using your system." The female voice said amused. Nick was practically on the verge of a meltdown after having his understanding of this new world broken twice in rapid secession. As though understanding what nick was going through the female voice spoke again "systems like yours aren't all powerful after all, though they are fairly close there are rules that systems have to follow for example the rule where systems can't pinpoint items related to other systems which is what you are experiencing right now." The voice explained patiently. Nick calmed down after hearing that explanation but couldn't help but he stunned by what was implied in the explanation, that there are more systems. "If what you say is correct then do you have a system?" Nick couldn't help but ask. The voice answered promptly "no." Before an awkward silence prevails for a few moments. "Cough cough. Right moving on you are here to raid the area right?" The voice broke the silence. Nick chuckles awkwardly "well ,i mean originally that was the idea but since there is someone here already I'll just leave." He says decisively. "Wait! I'm a weapon spirit not a person!" The female voice calls out stopping nick in his tracks. "Wait. A weapon spirit can talk!" He exclaims shocked. Truth be told his shock was understandable since he hasn't been exposed to high level information about weapons spirits. See, when a weapon reaches a certain level it develops a spirit and after that it will begin to develop it own personality and eventually soul. "Not all weapons spirits but some, that's not the point though the point is that you can still raid this area." The spirit said . nick nods at this but then catches on to something. "Wait , shouldn't you be trying to keep me away from this area because of your previous master?" He questions. Its silent for a moment before responding. "Well, normally you'd be right but my previous master was kinda a d.i.c.k so I'm not particularly fond of him." The spirit said. Nick was speechless but couldn't really argue with that. "Alright I guess I can come and loot the area before leaving here." Nick said as he started walking towards the building. "Wait ,what about me are you just going to leave me here." The spirit said. Nick was confused "aren't you inside the building?" He asked. The spirit responds softly "no I'm one of the swords stuck in the ground ." it said obviously unhappy.
