Nick sat down cross legged at the side of the platform that is being repaired and strengthened in order to prevent its destruction a second time. Nick focused on restoring his strength which was completely gone after that last attack, which didn't even surprise him little since the system had warned him about it when he created it a few days ago. The platform was repaired about fifteen minutes later and the referee asked nick if he wanted to challenge anyone which he declined before taking a seat in the group of participants where nobody bother him till his next match. In the end nick fought a few more battles but none of them were worth really paying attention to since nick was far more powerful than most of his opponents. After there was only five thousand people left the elder from earlier floated above the remaining participants and started explaining the next test.

"The next test is quite simple really , all of you will be sent into a special treasure that simulates an untamed environment complete with demon beast and treasure items that would normally be found there, however as it is a simulation nothing is actually able to be taken out of the treasure. The test is to survive in this environment for as long as possible , another thing to keep in mind is that as time passes the environment will become more and more hostile until you will have no choice but to leave the treasure but rest assured death is not possible so long as you are in the treasure instead you will be ejected as soon as a fatal blow has been dealt. That said the goal of this test is twofold, the first is to thin the number of people down to 250 people , the second is to temper your wills with the harshness of true world experiences." After speaking the elder waves his hand causing a mirror to appear . the mirror was as large as a door and looked to be made of some kind of bronze and jade the outside edges were covered in the images of devils and gods in combat while the center of the mirror was a pure black with no hint of shine to it giving the mirror an ancient aura . the mirror landed on the ground in front of the participants silently before the elder instructed everyone to walk into the mirror and start the test. At first no one walked forward but soon someone did and after that person vanished into the mirror everyone else started to enter as well until no one was left except the elder and the people spectating from the sidelines.

Nick opened his eyes after walking through the mirror to find himself surrounded by trees as well as mountains as far as he could tell. 'Well this is interesting ' he thinks while knocking on a tree as well as pinching himself to make sure its not just an illusion. After confirming his situation nick looks at the moss growing on the trees to get a sense of direction before he heads west to one of the mountains nearby in order to find both a source of water as well as a place to setup shelter. Nick quickly hears the sound of running water which he follows to a small stream coming down the mountainside after testing the water to see if it is safe to drink he checks nearby before finding a cave about a hundred meters to the north hidden slightly behind some bushes making it difficult to spot. The cave mouth is only about four feet all around making nick need to widen it by about a foot in order to make it easier for him to enter, the entire cave is only ten meters long from the mouth to the back and its very narrow so nick works in the surrounding stone in order to create a cavity large enough to live in comfortably for him. After removing the excess stone nick left the cave in order to collect wood and other materials to make a bed and tools for crafting since he plans to hole up till the test is over.
