Nick held the gray key into the light to let the guards and sabrina get a better look at it.the key had a hoop on the back and a narrow gray metal shaft that ended in a sphere with multiple deep intersecting groove that came together into a crestlike symbol. Nick grinned in satisfaction while the others look in awe at the key.

*DING*

*Would host like to activate the key?*

'System what would happen if I did?'

*A large portal to the warehouse would open in front of were host was pointing the key.*

'How large we talking here?'

*7feet tall and 5 feet wide.*

Nick looks around the private room and immediately decided using the key here would be a very bad idea. 'System I'm going to hold off on that until I get back home.'

Nick places the key into his inventory and turns to the three dissatisfied faces that are looking at him. Scratching his head nervously he says "I'll use it when I get back home, if I used it here everyone would notice the portal through the balcony after all you can see everyone who is watching this place quite heavily." He gestures to the crowd on the ground floor causing the others to look over and indeed there were several heated gazes looking up at the balcony hoping to see why he spent so much on a useless key. Sabrina's face grows slightly red in embarrassment and the two guards weren't much better coughing awkwardly while trying not to make eye contact with nick.

Meanwhile the spy elder terias sent to listen in on nick left quickly to go report what nick said about the key to his companions .'i might even get a promotion for this information' the man thought while stealthily making his way towards the room where terias is when suddenly his back breaks out in a cold sweat and before he can even react to the threat he falls apart into a cloud of ash with a (Poof) sound.

*Threat elimination complete removing funds*

Startled nick ask 'system what the hell I didn't even do anything and you're charging me!'

*DING*

*Host life was in danger so system erased it ,if host isdissatisfied with this function system will turn it off till host says otherwise.*

Nick couldn't help but ask 'system what was the danger that you acted on your own for ?'

*Host was being spied on which posed no threat, however upon hearing host unnecessary bragging decided to report to his superior and after calculating all outcomes there was a 97 percentage that host would be killed for the key.*

Nick shivers at the systems speach as he wasn't even aware of the danger he was in before he sighs and replied with 'system how do you decide which threats to eliminate ?'

*System calculates whether host can handle the threats before taking action otherwise host would never grow.*

'I suppose that makes sense ' nick agrees with the systems statement before suddenly coming to a realization 'does that mean i'll never get in over my head because you'll take care of it for me?'

*Negative host will have to live will have to deal with host own consequences system will only interfere if host has no knowledge of a major threat however if host causes such a threat then host will have to solve it .* 'Wait if that's the case then why did you solve the threat just now if my bragging caused it?'

*Host bragging was only a minor factor in the threat as calculations show that host would be killed if the spy had remained alive even if host had not bragged.* 'what ,why would I be killed if I hadn't bragged ?' Nick asked confused .

*Host has been seen to posses wealth,powerful medicine and is weak while being from a small city the perfect target to rob and as such kill to silence.*

Nick thought over everything he had done so far and as the system had said even he thought robbing himself was a good idea even killing him afterwards seemed reasonable as noone likes to deal with revenge obsessed people so nipping the problem in the bud made sense . nick was silent the rest of the auction as there was nothing he saw that he wanted he even had the system appraise everything to make sure he didn't miss anything but it proved to be a pointless task as it was all low quality stuff with perhaps a beast cub that was auctioned as the final item but even that was only so-so. After the auction nick hurried back to the mansion with sabrina and the two guards and the only thing that seemed out of place was the lack of plants in the main courtyard as everything else had already been restored. suddenly a middle ages man with black hair who is about 5'9 and a toned build walks out of one of the side rooms as if on que. "Hello young master did you enjoy the auction ?" The man ask with a kind smile. Nick grins as he see's one of his favorite people in the mansion the head Butler drasius. "Yes I got a real treasure I'm sure father will want to see ." nick says childishly.
