Nick acts as sincere as he can towards the group as he is aware that the current him is not strong enough to afford to offend so many top powers at once. Elder teria and the rest are stunned at nicks answer as a look of greed starts to creep through their eyes . seeing this nick quickly adds "I don't have any more of it though as after all it was extremely rare." The greed quickly changes to disappointment when the group hears what nick says . elder teria then ask "if it is so rare might I know what this medicine is called ?" The rest of the group perks up when they here elder terias question. Nick thinks about what to say and then says "since it seems like there is no harm from what I can see in telling you what its called the medicine is called the bloodline awakening pill." The group immediately understands what the aura they felt earlier was from the name nick said.
Elder teria then rubs her chin in contemplation and finally let's out a defeated sigh . "it seems that medicine is truly rare as I can't recall any such thing at all which normally would be suspicious however the aura you released earlier didn't feel like it was backed by vast amounts of power but was indeed similar to a presence that could be created from a bloodline." She says. The other leaders think about it and find that it was indeed as elder teria said. Elder teria then speaks "might I know what kind of bloodline you have awakened because it is surely amazing." Nick catches onto the flattery at the end and has a bad feeling about it so he says "I have no idea you'd have to ask my father but even he might not know." elder teria notices how nick passes on the problem to his father and clicks her tongue in irritation while thinking to herself that nick was quite clever to try to remove himself from the equation . Nick sees that the group might ask more in depth questions so he then says "as this has been all cleared up I'd ask that you return to your areas so the auction can go on ." nick smiles nicely as he tries urging the group away as politely as possible .

Elder teria picks up on nicks intentions and frowns slightly as she unwillingly leaves the room with the group of leaders from the other factions and then walks over to the members of her section the turns to a skinny pale man with a horrible facial scar and says "keep tabs on the young boy in that room he didn't say a single true word since I walked in there." The pale man nods without a word and vanished as though he was never there. meanwhile nick relaxed since the group is now gone and turns to the position where the last few grains of sand is falling down . nick then looks over to his companion and says "the auction is about to start " the two guards and sabrina each take their seats and the instant the last grain falls a lean green robed old man with a blade head and thick beard walks up the stage to the podium. "Welcome ladies and gentleman to the green dragons annual auction. I know some of you are new to the auction so I will briefly go over the rules . no one can threaten anyone else in the auction this includes verbal or otherwise. Next should anyone attack someone who purchased something at the auction to snatch the item and we should find out about it there will be consequences. And finally items can be traded for gold should you find yourself lacking. With all that said let the auction begin!" A beautiful young woman walks onto the stage with a tray before setting it down and lifting the cover revealing a dull gray key that looks fairly plain at first glance. The old man then introduced the item . "this key was found in an ancient ruin that once belonged to a sect that was destroyed in the dark era however this key can't be destroyed no matter what we tried to do so naturally we simply want to get rid of it in hopes that someone can figure out what it is used for."

My Pixie Familiar
Pixies are real. Not only are they real, but are considered pests due to their mischievous nature and love of pranks. Some people think they are magical and making a potion or powder from their wings will transfer that magic to a person. Any good alchemist will tell you that is not true. Most will gladly take your money and make you a "magic potion" though. My name is Jase Fisher and I thought I would follow in the steps of my mother and become an alchemist since I didn't enjoy fishing, hunting, or any of the other trades offered in Beau Ferry, my village. Not only have I been looking forward to being an alchemist, I was looking forward to bonding with a familiar. My biggest fear is not bonding with one of the exciting familiars such as a dragonet. If I can just make it through the bonding process, my life is set. Oh, and not run afoul of any pixie pranks.

Sorcery in Boston
The timid daughter of some of the greatest spellcasters ever to have lived has found herself in another world, courtesy of magic gone awry. In Boston, Massachusetts, in the year 1935, she finds some kind souls in a hard era. In the heart of the Great Depression, as war looms around the corner, she seeks to find her place, and must come to terms with both who she is and what she truly desires. Author's Notes: Release Note: I recently realized what the hold up is. My current mental state is not compatible with the planned ending. If I wrote the ending according to what currently feels right, it will be a wretched, cruel ending that feels monstrously unfair and invalidates the work of the various characters... because that's how my life feels at the moment. The planned ending is coming out hollow and awkward, no matter how I write it, and so I've been bashing my head. I will finish it, once I manage to either brute force something decent out, or once my head gets screwed on straight. Audience: This story is not for young children - it contains some profanity, sexual content, violence, gore, and significant adult themes. Most of these are handled delicately enough not to upset teens or adults (hopefully), hence the lack of relevant tags, but it is nonetheless unsuitable for youth. It's fairly slow paced, and focused on the development of very human, very flawed individuals. Length / Completion Estimates: The outline currently involves two books. Book 1 is expected to be done with Chapter 43. It'll probably be completely finished by sometime in March of this year. I expect to move on to the far-more-lighthearted Of Gods and Dungeons (currently in progress / on hiatus). Afterwards, I may decide to redo Book 1, or write Book 2, or actually start sharing the story most dear to me, that I've been working on for several years now. Draft 1: Please be aware that this is first draft material. I do intend to come back to do a second draft after the story is complete. If anyone notices any issues whatsoever with the story, please let me know (pm, etc) so that I can improve the second draft. Writer's Pledge: I've taken the Writer's Pledge, meaning I'm commiting to completing this story. I'm a proud member of WriTE, a group dedicated to finishing stories. It will be done! Behind the Scenes notes: This picture was commissioned from an inked artist by the name of DanP. Up until the time of the protagonist's arrival, history has proceeded as before. Some places and characters have been borrowed from wikipedia entries of interesting figures from the time. I will make note in the chapter comments when such things come up. Naturally, I've taken a great deal of liberty with them. In interest of respecting individuals, I've either attempted to portray them as accurately as possible, or modified them sufficiently enough that they're simply an inspiration, instead of a real portrayal. I've attempted to be as accurate to the era as possible, but I'm not a historian. If you're aware of inaccuracies, please, bring them to my attention so that I can correct them.

Live Life Homunclus
The end is not always the end. Nothing is permanent, and even death itself is merely a transition. This fact holds true for a certain young man who died quite tragically on Earth. Lucky for him, a new life was just around the corner. A world filled with magic, adventure, and oh so many dangers awaited. Everything would be perfect, if it wasn't for the fact that he reincarnated into a homunclus. An artificial life-form said to possess almost zero combat capabilities. An exemplary example of pure breed cannon fodder. Surviving in a world where dragons roam the skies and monsters stalk the lands, wasn't this a bit too unreasonable?
