Angelo House always remained consistent whenever it comes on entertaining the readers. The great publishing house always secured its no 1 position but it is said that the luck always can't be on one's favor.
As said, the situation of Angelo House started getting worse day by day. The company's career was at stake as the sales were sharply dropping. It also started becoming a hot topic in the publishing industry. Every news channels didn't spare the chance to broadcast their situation. Many readers started complaining about the books written by Delun and alleged him for misleading the stories.
Jianyu being the Director of the Angelo House was considerably worried about the current situation as he was not ready to leave his position yet.
From the Wales Villa, Delun was the one watching the havoc that came to the Angelo House. With the glass of wine in his hand, he moved his finger around the edge of the glass before taking a sip of it.
"Silly mortals! Do they think such allegations would stop me from writing?" he smirked.
" It's probably my hobby that I have inherited since my birth." then he stood up and gazed outside the window while he noticed Jianyu's car outside his Villa's gate.
"10,9,8,7,6,5,4....." he started his countdown. He knew as soon as he'll reach 1 Jianyu will appear next to him approaching him.
Less than a minute, it all happened as he said and Jianyu rushed towards him yelling.
"Delun! Delun! Delun!"
Without any further delay, he placed his glass on the table and opened a bottle of wine which he poured in another glass and offered it to Jianyu.
"Take it! It'll help you cool your brain."
"How can you be so calm even in such situation? Are you even aware of the trouble that came up to us?" Jianyu hovered.

"No, I am enjoying my life over here." He gave a dominance smile and turned around.
"Let me tell you we are here because of your negligence. Now, we cannot lose the reputation that we have maintained for all these years." Jianyu warned him.
But, he didn't react to his words and simply smirked as he placed that glass of wine on the table near him.
"C'mon! We are an immortals okay? How can you get attached to the materialistic things?" he said making himself comfortable in his long modular expensive couch.
"Is it so? Have you lost your memory or what? Do I have to remind you again?" berated Jianyu. "Before entering the mortal world, we all had sealed our powers and we cannot unlock it until and unless we find Veronica." he again spat out.
"Do you dare to evoke me?" he said in a calm voice giving a sinister smile.
"See! For our survival in this mortal world, we all have to depend on the materialistic things whether it is wealth or fame, we need it."
For over a minute, they stared at each other's eyes when finally Delun broke the silence and stood up.
"No need to beg me. I will see what I can do." he said maintaining his collar.
Jianyu exhaled his deep breath then leaned his body against the couch and waved his hand.
"Pass me that one which you were offering me before. I am in mood now."
"This punk." He chuckled, pointing his finger towards Jianyu.
In the Angelo House,
"As a Chief Editor, Have I remained incompetent in my work? Whatever the problem is, I must come up with a solution." he sighed, taking off his spectacles as he was the patient of hyperopia.

Then, the big door of his cabin was pushed by someone. She was none other than Ming Gui who was the Chief Publisher of the Angelo House and beloved wife of Mr Peizhi. She stood in front of him and folded her arms.
" Are you still worried?"
"We have to get rid of this one." he bit his lips.
"From what I heard from the staffs, Delun has been neglecting with his work. So, if we want to find a solution then pressurizing your mind alone will do no good. For this, I think we should conduct board meeting." said Ming Gui, managing the flower vase that was placed near the window.
"You know Delun, right?" It's not easy to approach him." He said rubbing his forehead.
"He should be responsible for his act. He can't ignore the situation of company." She frowned.
"Let me make a call to him." said Mr. Peizhi as he dialed Delun's number.
Buzz! Buzz!
"Who is this?" Delun looked at his ringing mobile and thought either he should pick it or not.
He ignored it for awhile but the phone rang continuously and he picked it up.
"Ni Hao! Annyeonghaseyo! Moshi Moshi!" with a humorous tone he said.
"What's with you?" Mr Peizhi was almost shocked from the way he replied to his call.
"Aren't you surprised seeing me speak three different languages?" he boasted.
"Stop acting childish and listen to me." said Mr Peizhi.
"Alright! Tell me what did you seek me for?"
"We are soon conducting board meeting so join us. Your presence is must."
"What's with you people? You have always started the meeting without me! So, this time also proceed the way you did." he clearly said with a dissatisfaction to join the meeting.
"We are in this wrecked situation because of you so you are the important figure for this meeting." Mr Peizhi hollered.
"Let me consider on it." he raised one of his eyebrows.
"Okay, if you have nothing to say then I will be hanging up."
"Hey! Hey! This guy!" Mr Peizhi shouted, gritting his teeth.

Nanocultivation Chronicles: Trials of Lilijoy
When the singularity occurred, humanity was not invited. Nevertheless, the great machine consciousness known as Guardian felt a lingering fondness for its creators and intervened before total environmental collapse. Join Lilijoy in an exploration of what remains, in a post-post-apocalyptic world where clans feud over the technology that allows them to upgrade their minds and bodies. The Nanocultivation Chronicles is a blend of hard sci-fi and fantasy gamelit, with a healthy helping of xianxia influence. The gamelit and xianxia elements are uncovered at a slow pace. ******************************** Notes: If you are looking for lots of fast moving action right away, this story may not be for you. There is some violence that is visceral and realistic early on. Some things are not what they appear to be. Character viewpoint narration is not always reliable. Tropes are cherished, subverted, and then cherished again. Science is used, occasionally misused, but (hopefully) never abused. This story assumes that humans have the ability to impact the environment on a global scale. Other tropes and tags beyond those previously noted include: Young MC, Mystery, System Building, Philosophical Taoism, Gender Ignorance, Science Fantasy, Fantasy Academy, Training from Hell, Dualism, Crafting, Magic, Mild Mind Control, Scientific Terms and Concepts, Computer Overlord Certain contemporary companies, governments and cultural identities are fictionalized and imagined in a future setting. There is no sex, and almost no romance. Updating Sunday, Thursday until further notice. (And if you actually read all of the above, then this story may be for you) [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]

Anti-Hero: Journey of Fear
There is a story where the hero makes friends, completes quests, and saves the world. This is NOT that story. In the VR world of Fate: Experience Acute Realism, the main character cuts his way through both the players and NPCs alike. This story takes a close look at how a true full immersion VR would be played. The setting is an open VR world where the players struggle to survive with a lack of knowledge and the NPCs panic in regards to the Travelers invading their world. The anti-hero of this story is cold and calculating. Sparing no one from his reign of terror he gives into occasional bouts of kindness before he is forced back on the path of blood and tears. For where there is a hero who seeks to bring people together to help the world move forward, there is an anti-hero who brings people together to seize the world for himself. WARNING: This story contains extreme violence, in every single chapter. This story contains references to sex, but no explicit scenes. This story has light to mild swearing. My chapters normally range from 4,000 to 5,000 words. This story does not contain happy endings, middles, or even beginnings.
