As soon as he left, Jianyu returned to the Angelo House. Anyone can guess from his livid expression that he was really disappointed on Delun.
After he reached, he immediately entered inside Delun's cabin. "Why would you do that?" asked Jianyu.
But Delun chose to not response on his question and remained silent.
"Shhhh!! Do you even know how unfair her life has been to her?" Jianyu said, banging Delun's office desk.
Delun smirked making eye-to-eye contact with Jianyu, "You have time to worry about worthless people? Really? Are you really so idle?"
Jianyu pursed his lips, pointing his finger on Delun, "You brat! I don't know how you changed this much but by rejecting her you have really made a great loss and sooner or later you'll realize it." Then, he banged the door and left the cabin.
Seeing him behave insanely for a girl, Delun raged and threw his laptop.
It was the time of afternoon. The distant sun in the cloudless blue sky washed the buildings in it's warm light. The roads shimmered in the heat of the afternoon sun.
Delun was about to leave for The Wales Villa and as he stepped outside, he found the newly bloomed plum blossom's petal were falling eventually. Then, his eyes got stuck over the delicate petals and he remembered the time when he had confessed his feelings to Veronica under the Plum Blossom Tree. He always thought they would be together for life but separation was meant to be forever.
Reality hit him hardly as when he came back to his senses he found he was helplessly staring the plum blossoms. Then without further delaying, he left for The Wales Villa.
Moonlian wanted to enjoy some of her personal hobbies so she started spending most of her times working in the flower shop that lied near her house. The owner of that shop was an old woman who was hospitalized a few days ago and it was the reason behind Moonlian taking over the flower shop. Every customers admired her as she was sweet, polite and lovely.

Some highschool boys even used to peep her through the window and some even came inside the shop and bought bunch of flowers as an excuse to meet her. Some of them asked for her number and some of them asked her out but she declined everyone as her one and only focus was her work.
"Hey! What's up?" Mei waved her hand and entered the shop when Moonlian was watering the Gardenias.
"Hie! Are you going somewhere?" she asked.
"I was bored to death spending my times inside the four walls so I thought of hanging out with you today. Let's rock the floor today!" Mei said flaunting her beautiful red dress.
"Sorry but I'm already reserved by this shop and my schedule is also tightly packed. So next time for sure!" She sighed then winked at Mei.
"C'mon bestie! I don't know why are you pretending to enjoy such a boring work!" Mei pulled her hands in the way a toddler pulls.
"I'd really love to accompany you but since granny has handed me the responsibility to look after the shop, I don't want to take a day off. The spring has also newly started in China and it is the most favourable season to enjoy the plum blossoms. I am quite sure many people will come to buy the plum blossoms today. So it's a big no if you request me to take a day off." She said, putting her apron on.
"Alright! I am leaving then." With a sarcastic face Mei left.
"Enjoy your day sweetie!" She giggled as she waved her hand.
It's not that Moonlian don't want to enjoy the outside world, but she feared that she might meet Delun, she feared of showing herself infront of him. She tried to keep herself busy so that the humiliation she faced wouldn't bother her. But, whatever it is, no one can change the fact that she missed Delun and whenever she remembered him, her heart always felt something which she was unknown about.

When she was glaring the warm orange sky that was filled with the slanting rays of the setting sun, a customer entered her shop and asked for a bouquet of Gardenia flower. As she had just watered those flowers in the morning, she went to pluck it off and was about to arrange it and pack it when a voice rang on her ears.
"If it's his favourite, it's mine too!"
As soon as she heard those words, her eyes blurred and she lost her balance.
"Miss! Are you okay?" the customer asked.
"Huh!! Sorry for my manners. But I am fine." She bowed before him.
"I think you need to take some rest, Miss!"
"I also think like that." she smiled.
Then, that person took his bouquet and left the shop.
"You are welcome whenever you like to visit. Thank you for visiting." she waved her hand.
It was already 10 pm and Moonlian was waiting for Mei for the supper. "This girl! Where has she gone? She should at least care about time!" Moonlian mumbled staring the wall clock that was hanged in the wall.
Suddenly, the door bell rang. 'Ding Dong!'
"It must be Mei!" She said as she moved to open the door.
"Hey bestie! You are home!" chuckled Mei as she leaned towards Moonlian to hug her.
"Hey! Hey! Are you drunk?" said Moonlian, trying to make Mei stand up on her own legs.
"Alright! Alright! Come in. I was waiting for you. Let's have our dinner." she walked and sat over the dining table.
"I am already full so save the dinner for tomorrow. Goodnight sweet dreams, bestie!" Mei said, giving her a flying kiss. Then she went upstairs in her room.
"Ufffff! This girl. Fine! I will have the dinner alone!" She served the dinner and ate on her own. After the dinner she went to her room and wore her nightdress.
"What a hectic day it was today!" she sighed.
"Try to think of it, what was that I heard?" she wondered.
"If it's his favourite, it's mine too! Who really said this? I am quite sure, it was a voice of a girl."she whispered.

Yin-Yang
Mages in North America seem to have it all – typically from well-off families, and able to manipulate their environment in ways most of the world would never believe. They don’t even have to bother with the mundane details of life like housework, thanks to their sensitives, who also make a useful source for extra magical energy. After all, sensitives have no use for it themselves, and if mages weren’t meant to make use of it, then the sensitives would obviously have some way to prevent that. That a mage can transform a sensitive physically, with no restrictions beyond overall mass and basic biological viability, whereas magic tends not to work directly on any other living thing, is only further proof. And look at the way they live on their own, barely a step above animals. It’s better for them to belong to a mage. Sensitives in North America live on the edge of society and survival – typically so paranoid they avoid hospitals and anything else that could lead to being tracked, many of them with little or no education and no legal identity or existence. Mages exist, and mages want sensitives for some reason, but no one ever comes back to explain what that reason is. Waiting every day for the hunters to notice them doesn’t lead to much motivation or hope for the future. And once they’re captured, they’re the property of someone with a terrifying amount of power over them. Anything is better than capture. Mages are born to be the masters, and sensitives are born victims. Or are they? Jax’s life is turned upside-down when he’s caught by the hunters and sold to a mage. Andreas is still mourning for his previous sensitive, though, unconsciously creating a difficult standard for Jax to live up to, all the more so while still struggling to come to terms with this new reality as Andreas’ sensitive. A runaway sensitive isn’t what Van expects at the mental health centre. Is this a hunter trap, set for him and the rest of the Donovan family by the hunters? The hunters would, after all, love to see them cross the line openly and finally do something they can be charged with. Either way, Miranda’s genuinely in trouble, and he can’t just abandon her to it. Snatching a sensitive out from under the hunters and hiding her is odd behaviour for a mage – but then, Catherine is an odd mage, living in disgrace in the old servants’ quarters of her grandmother’s house, responsible for cooking and housework. Lila owes Catherine her freedom; is there a way to help Catherine achieve her own, and at what price? Tension is building between traditionally-minded mages and those advocating change, and something has to break. *** Yin-Yang includes a small amount of profanity and no graphic sex or on-screen physical violence. However, sex and gender roles and relationships within the mage/sensitive subculture are non-traditional in mainstream North American terms. The key criterion in a primary relationship is not relative sex or gender, but the pairing of mage and sensitive; given the transformation of sensitives by their mages, physical sex is non-absolute for a sensitive, and gender identity can vary as in anyone else. *** *** The way mages treat sensitives is extremely varied and, in some cases is outright abusive. The struggle against that is pretty much the point of the book. It is NOT grimdark or misery-porn! However, if you will be triggered by this, please, don't read Yin-Yang! *** Complete stand-alone novel, 153K words! Also available on Scribble Hub and as a free ebook.
