《Psycho X Psychic》Chapter 87 - The Popular Group's Problem

'The class is especially annoying today.'
Iesa thought while keeping herself calm. While holding a red pen, she was looking at the board to see the answers for the Monthly Exams. The test paper that she was checking was her seatmate's.
'However, I can forgive them which is something I rarely do, considering how I hate each and every one of them. But this time, I'll be tolerant hehe I'm in a good mood after all.'
"Here are all the answers. If you find something that might be incorrect, just raise your hand. If there's nothing then pray that your answers are not incorrect too."
Teacher Hanon said while going around the class. However, he was intentionally not going to where Teren was since the uneasiness and fear were overriding him again.
'Ugh! Was it always this cold inside this classroom?'
He felt fear because of the possibility that Teren may not like him going around and explaining things to him. It should be categorized as irrational fear if not for the thing that we call 'pride'
Hanon knew that almost every person at the above hates being treated lowly, or even equally, by those from below. However, what can he do? Teren is a student and he's a teacher. It should be safe to think that he's safe within these classroom walls but what about after school?
Not to mention the fact that he was one of the people who snitched Teren to the SSDA.
'Knowing Clade, that bastard will surely drag me with him!'
Remembering yesterday when he got worried about Teren, he felt a little sick. But however scared he may be, he still to act like nothing was happening.
This time, even Iesa couldn't see, or more accurately, hear through him. The person in question was too immersed in her own world, after all...

Before long, Hanon took the test papers and said.
"I will announce the result later. If anyone cheated, I will see. Now, wait for your next subject teacher."
As soon as he got out, Teacher Jerad came in and the same scene happened again where students exchange papers to check.
Lunch break.
"Teren Hark, please meet at the faculty."
Teacher Jerad peeked into the classroom and called.
Albeit surprised, Teren nodded and followed the teacher.
"Hm? Why would he be called out?" Lina muttered before going out with her friend to eat.
"You... you did that!?"
Out of nowhere, while the students were going out, Mike grabbed one of his friends' collar while panicking.
"Hahaha.... calm down, Mike. It's just the Monthly Exam."
One of his male friends said and was surprised by Mike's reaction.
"Wait, what did he do?" Catherine then came to them with a questioning look.
Mike glanced at their classmates who were silently watching them.
"Let's talk somewhere else..."
He pulled that friend while Catherine, Josh, and the others followed with confused looks.
No one in the class knew what exactly happened, except for one person, Iesa. She was about to leave but the scene caught her attention. Unintentionally, she heard their thoughts. Just like Mike, she panicked and followed them which attracted more attention.
Nick didn't know what's happening but didn't think of it that much.
"I should wait for boss outside the faculty." he muttered before moving on.
Mike and Catherine's group was about to go to fastfood restaurant for a cheap lunch but before they did so, Mike brought them to an alley.
"The fuck is wrong with you, why did you do that?!" Mike pushed that friend earlier towards the mossy wall.
Witnessing how the situation drastically got heavier, Josh interfered and pulled Mike away.

"W-woah, dude! Calm down, let's talk first. I don't think what Dan did is that bad, right?"
Dan, who was pushed to the wall, immediately said his defense.
"I was just messing around with that dork's paper. Come on, he will lose a few points at most!"
"H-huh?" Catherine, who was stopping Mike too, heard this and asked, "Dork? Who's this dork who you messed the test paper?"
"Isn't it obvious? It's that dork, Teren." Dan dryly laughed, trying to make light of the situation.
"What? Is that all he did?" Eline, the delinquent-looking girl, asked.
"That's all I did."
Having found an ally, Dan calmed down and nodded.
"Wait, so what's the big deal, Mike?"
Mira, the slender short-haired woman, added and looked at Mike.
"The big deal...?" Mike couldn't say it because it's just his guts. He had yet to recollect his memories as he was still needing that one piece of the puzzle just like Catherine.
"That's sabotaging! What if the school learned this!? Huh!?"
But even without saying her true reason, Catherin fiercely fought back.
"Come on, Dan can just say that he messed that up and he will be let go with a light warning."
Mira said which Eline nodded in agreement.
"Right... so let's all calm down. We may attract the police here hahahaha..." Josh tried to think of something to lighten the situation but ultimately failed, "Oh! How about we try the new ice cream down the street, huh? Isn't it getting hotter?"
"Y-yeah, let's do it..." wanting to escape Mike and Catherine's glares, Dan nodded for backup.
"Then that's that. If Dan gets called to the faculty too then that's his problem. I'm sure he'll escape that easily."
Both Mira and Eline grabbed Catherine's arms respectively.
"Come on, girl. You gotta tell us what's your and Mike's deal with this lame dork. I know that he's a bit close to that gangster Nick, but come on."
Knowing that nothing could be changed no matter what they do, Mike and Catherine just shut up and followed. But before they exit the alley, they were obstructed by one person.
"Iesa?"
Catherine raised an eyebrow. Instead of feeling troubled of being caught red-handed, she felt she was saved.
"You, come with me to the faculty."
Iesa domineeringly pointed at Dan. Under the school idol's gaze, Dan felt that hesitation would result badly. Therefore, without speaking any complaints, he walked towards her but before he did so, Eline raised her hand and stopped him.
"Nope, you're not going anywhere." Eline then looked at Iesa and asked, "What do you want?"
