《Psycho X Psychic》Chapter 32 - Casual Encounter

Seeing Clade's death in the future, Hanon gritted his teeth and immediately took his phone out of his pocket.
'I have to tell Clade.'
But before he was about to type, the future vision disappeared back to darkness.
'Huh...? Why did it disappear again? Maybe it's wrong?'
Hanon put down his phone. At the same time, he saw the future again - the one that Clade was beaten, or worst, dead.
'This action of mine determines the future? But what does darkness mean? This is the first time I-'
Hanon's train of thoughts stopped upon realization. From feet to his head, he felt cold.
'My death...'
He looked at Teren who was patiently staring at him.
'Wait, if I warn Clade now. That guy will certainly come here to complain. Then he will meet Teren? What about me? Will I die because I warned Clade? Does that mean... I'm at his mercy?'
His pupils and legs tremble.
'This kid... he's waiting for my choice. He doesn't know it yet but once I pick my choice, he will decide.'
After a few minutes, Hanon's breathing got ragged and he began to perspire. At that moment, he finally decided. He placed down his phone and sat down.
Seeing this, Teren nodded.
"See you tomorrow, Sir Hanon."
"..." Hanon was left in the faculty with his hands covering his darkened face. He seemed void of energy.
Once Teren got out of the faculty, Lina shouted.
"Finally!"
Meanwhile, Iesa saw Teren's lifeless eyes.
'I wonder what happened.'
That was when he heard Hanon's thoughts.
'I have to report to the boss- he will die tonight.'
Iesa's eyes widened.
On the other hand, seeing iesa immediately placed a smile on Teren's face.
"You guys didn't have to wait for that long."

"Oh my god, I was about to run out of patience..." Lina further complained. Any more waiting and she would've said what she was really thinking.
'How dare the doggy made his owner wait this long!?'
Iesa ignored these thoughts and said to Teren.
"Can we... come home together?"
Upon receiving this question, Teren was blown away by the sheer cuteness Iesa shown.
"I... I... o-okay."
Teren found that he could not say no to her.
'What?!' Lina heard this and butted in, "Then since I waited, can I come too."
Although Lina was cute, Teren firmly believes that Iesa is on another level. He didn't even feel any impact from Lina.
"Isn't your home the other way, prez?" Iesa said.
"Ah..." Lina, for a second, forgot about that.
Meanwhile, Nick who experienced a whole day of anxiety was finally ready to talk to his almost-killer or soon-to-be.
The four went out. The guard asked them why it took them so long and Teren just told the truth about how Hanon talked to him.
Lina was the only one talkative in the four, asking Teren what their teacher talked about.
Teren just said the truth and the questions by Hanon except at the last part. That's where things got straighten.
But it didn't take that long since it was Lina who was the first who was separated from them.
At that moment, a car began following them. In a silent street, the car was very obvious.
'What's with that car?' Nick thought.
Meanwhile, Iesa was sweating. That was when Teren stopped under a streetlight and said to Nick.
"Now that the prez is gone, say what you want."
While ignoring the car that parked behind them, Nick answered directly.
"C-can you please help the Handwing Gang against the Spectra Gang?"

But before Teren could answer, a voice came out as the door of the car behind them opened.
"Handwing Gang? I thought that gang was utterly destroyed by the same person you are talking to right now?"
Iesa looked at the tall man that had sunglasses. Without stopping, the man went behind Teren and looked down.
"Ah..." Iesa trembled.
"If that's your request, Nick. But I hope you will not antagonize me from now on."
"Who..." Nick muttered as he looked at the smiling handsome man.
"Now that you have my answer. You can go now. And also..." Teren then looked at Iesa, "Sorry, but let's come home together for another time."
Clade placed his hands onto Teren's shoulders as he laughed.
"Are you sure there's for another time?"
Iesa then remembered what she heard one last time from Hanon,
[I have to report to the boss- he will die tonight.]
"T-teren... escape. You will die!"
Teren frowned, 'Does she know something?'
If a stranger saw this, Clade seemed like Teren's friend or uncle at best. The only out-of-place here are the fearful faces of Nick and Iesa.
'Why would she say that I will die?'
"Nick, can you please bring Iesa out of here?" Teren asked.
"I-iesa, let's get out of here." Nick pulled Iesa by her arm.
"No! I...!" she wanted to say something but knew that she couldn't do anything.
"Nick," Teren's voice got colder, "Gently..."
"Ah..."
Iesa couldn't feel it but out of fear and pressure, Nick's grip on Iesa's forearm was tight.
"S-sorry... Iesa, Teren can handle him."
"Handle me?" Clade laughed loudly again with a big mouth. His grip got tighter as he put pressure down.
However, Teren was unflinching.
"Iesa," he frowned, "Please... I'll just message you after this."
Seeing Teren's serious face, Iesa pulled her hand out of Nick's "gentle" grip and nodded.
"You better be."
She then walked away with her face glaring at Clade. Nick followed.
"Those were your last words to your cute girlfriend?" Clade asked as his grip trembled from the pressure he was exerting.
"Two wrong and one right. I wish but she's not my girlfriend, those were not my last words, and finally, you're right, she's cute."
Teren replied.
"Hm... as expected of the famed Devil Himself. You're still not falling from the pressure I'm exerting." Clade was about to frown and give his full strength down when Teren suddenly stepped forward and the center of balance shifted, lowering the pressure.
At the same time, he turned to make Clade remove his hands.
"Let's take this somewhere. Don't want a dead body on the public road, right?"
Clade's shocked face turned into a smile, "That's right."
Meanwhile, he thought, 'Where's Hanon? I hope he follows us.'

The Hunt
Cecily's blade swung, hitting its mark as always. The man's arm fell to the cold grass of the prison with a familiar thud. He let out a blood curdling scream. A warning to the rest. Stay away, the Hunter is here. That's the name they'd given her, the Hunter. After she cut off the man who tried to rape hers masculinity, they stayed away. She'd made it clear anyone who tried to touch her would be hunted and slaughtered. Cecily kneeled down, pushing the man's face into the dirt so she could use his back as a seat while she trifled through his belongings. "You're hurting my ears," she told him, no remorse in her voice. "Quiet down before I really do kill you."The man but his lip, well aware that she wasn't lying. Sobs shook him, making for an uncomfortable seat. She, however, didn't particularly feel the beed to kill him. It happened, not often, but it did. "Oh, hush up," she hissed, taking out a bag of rations with her metal hand, "it doesn't hurt that bad."With her good, human hand, she dropped the plastic bag of food into her own bag. She pushed up, off the man back. As she was about to walk away, bag slung over her shoulder, brushing against her autumn colored braid, she turned back to him. "Consider yourself lucky," she said, no hatred in her voice, there never was. "Consider yourself lucky that you didn't do anything stupid. And even luckier if one of the scum bagged criminals in here feel a little light in their hearts and help you. Consider yourself luckier if you die there."With that, her old black and white Nike sneakers carried her off into the brush of the huge prison.
