Jamie went to Rachel's room along with Charles and knocked at her door. Rachel was done with the shower and had just dressed up so she opened the door and looked at them "What happened?"

Without wasting anytime Jamie held her hand and said "Sweetie we think that you should get married to Robert."

Rachel took her hands away and stepped back looking at her mother with eyes opened wide, she could not believe her ears, she could not believe what she heard was right, how could her mother say that. She was taken aback and was unable to form any words, she just looked at her mother dumbfolded. When she didn't say anything Jamie held her shoulder worriedly and said "Sweetie please say something, you are scaring me."

Rachel looked at her mother with disbelief written all over her face, she shrugged her hands away "Am I? You can't be serious with what you said right now. Everything else aside, mom, you know he is the leader of the evil witches, how could you possibly think that?"

Jamie looked at her and said "I know that but if we don't see it from that aspect, he is just Jessica's brother and he is a nice person, he took that position just to meet the queen, he means no harm and instead wants to protect you."

Rachel's anger bubbled up inside her and she could not help but raise her voice at her mother which she had never done before "Mom, what is wrong with you even if that is the case don't I have the right to choose the person I love. I want to marry the person I will love not any stranger, I know he is the brother of my best friend but just because he is someone I know doesn't mean I will marry him."

Jamie took in a deep breath and said "Look darling, I understand how you are feeling but at least give him a chance for me. Just get engaged and live together with him for now and if you don't like it, you can call off the engagement."

Before Rachel could say anything Jamie placed both her palms on her face and said "You know I have never forced you to do anything and this time I am just thinking about you, just trust your mother and give this a chance, I promise I won't force you if you don't like it."

Rachel could not say no to her when she acted all pitiful and when she thought about it, it was not that bad to live together, she could just make an agreement with him that they will live their own lives and not interfere in each others business for some time. Later when the trail period would be over, she could simply say that things didn't work out.

Although she agreed to it, she knew this must be that jerk's demand so she was not going to let him off the hook, she was so angry at him that she wanted to beat him to death.

As she was lost in her thoughts, she received a call from Jessica and when she picked up the call she said "I am so sorry Rachel, I had no idea he would do that and about the marriage, you don't have to agree, he is behaving like a jerk."

Rachel smiled "Don't worry Jess., it is for the best that the evil will be right below my nose so that I can keep an eye on him."

Jessica laughed "You always have a positive way to look at things but you are right, you will obviously do a lot better job than me."

Rachel hummed and then she said "Jessica, erase his memory where I used magic on him, I don't want him to find out."

Jessica nodded and said "Don't worry, I have already done that I will never forget my duty of keeping the queen's identity a secret."

Rachel nodded and said in a serious tone "No one is to find out about the engagement too and also tell that to my mother."

"Okay"

She hung up the call and went to check on Robert who had been locked in his room, when she saw that he was still there she heaved a sigh of relief. She went in and sat on his bed "Thank God, you didn't teleport again."

He had calmed down a lot and now when he looked at her, he said "I am sorry, when I saw the news, I lost control but the good thing is I don't know anything about that man or I would have killed him, I don't know ow what is wrong with me."

Jessica rolled her eyes and looked at him "You need to control yourself in the future because she is going to be your wife."

Robert thought he had heard something wrong so he turned to his sister and after dangerously narrowing his eyes at her, he said "What did you say?"

She was actually scared by seeing that look so she said quickly "It is what her parents said would be the best and you promised, you will follow whatever decision I make."

He was quite for a while then he said "Jess., I will do anything for you because you are my sister but this is impossible."

Jessica didn't expect that it would be her brother that would make things difficult so she was really surprised and asked "Why?"

Robert didn't answer her question and went out of the room into the next empty room and sat there quietly, several thoughts ran through his mind and he closed his eyes to sort them out but he was unable to make sense of anything, he gritted his teeth and said to himself "I can not do this , I will not marry her and no matter what she does, I won't interfere, it is none of my business."
