Rachel smiled and nodded her head and both of them had their lunch peacefully while they discussed the idea of how to work on the new idea. After they were done Rachel had an impressed impression on her face as she said while Aubin started driving the car "The food was really good and I would say I have never had this amazing food ever in my life although my mother is an amazing cook."

He smiled and said "I told you and now I want to confess to you that I never thought that a woman will be able to impress me and I had planned to give you a hard time. I thought that even if men who were had even more well established business than you were unable to impress me than how could a woman do that. I know I was wrong to judge on the basis of the gender but your capability was a slap in my face and I dare not judge ever again."

Rachel smiled "I don't know why people have this notion in their mind that if something is done by a woman than it must not be very good but I am glad that I have the capability to prove these notions wrong and I will keep doing that in future too."

He smiled "I am sure you will and I am so honored to be able to work with you."

Rachel smirked "You don't need to flatter me Mr. Bain, I will still be working with you and I am glad that you came clean it is good to work with clear conscious."

He nodded "I am glad you think that way because I don't want to be in your bad books."

"Don't worry I don't hold grudges because I think that people always have a reason behind doing something even if it is something bad."

He looked at her confused "What do you mean?"

Rachel laughed at his reaction "Don't worry it doesn't mean I won't harm the person to protect myself if they cross the limits what I mean is if you take this for instance. You judged me that I was bad in business because there is a reason that most of the women use their s.e.x.u.a.lity to climb up the ladder be it any field so the other women who work hard are judged because of the former group that means they are the once who have tainted the whole gender. This is why I would never blame anyone for judging me and I will just prove them wrong with my capabilities."

Aubin smiled "The more I know about you the more I feel like spending time with you because you are too different and can easily win anybody's heart."

Rachel laughed "That I have been told."

He laughed with her and they exchanged a few more words until he finally dropped her at her hotel."

Oliver too had just arrived and as soon as she got out, he came and hugged her "Thank God I met you here, I needed someone to talk to as I had been tortured all this time."

Rachel laughed "I thought you were going to rest."

Seeing a man throw himself on Rachel Aubin was ready to get out and beat him up but when he saw Rachel laughing his aura suddenly became cold and he had a feeling to kill him. He looked at the man coldly and became jealous at their closeness and with a resolution to have that good relationship with her he left angrily

On the other hand Oliver complained "It was all because of you to get you out of spending time with him I had to sacrifice myself."

Rachel was unable to control her laughter "Isn't he you best friend?"

He pouted "He is but he is also a pervert talking about girls and their bodies which makes me feel uncomfortable and that is the reason I hate spending time with him."

Rachel felt pitiful for him "Well that means I owe you one so I will spend time with you tonight."

He nodded letting out a yawn "I am so tired, I am going to sleep."

Rachel nodded and with a little stretch of her body she said "Me too, you come to my room after you wake up and we will make plans for the night."

He nodded and went to his room "See you soon."

Rachel went to her room and lay down on her bed when she realised something was amiss, she tried to think about it but she could not think of anything so she let it go and closed her eyes to go off to sleep.

Back at Jessica's house she looked at the man in front of her worried as he ate the food. He stopped eating for a while and looked at her "Why are you not eating?"

She smiled "I don't have any appetite."

He nodded "Still eat something, you have to take care of your health."

Jessica simply began to eat and after she was done, she looked at him and said "Is there anything I can do for you?"

He gave it a thought and said "There is something you could do and that is let me out of the house, if my mind is distracted I will have less episodes of pain."

Now that Rachel was gone Jessica agreed "Alright, what do you want to do?"

He thought for a while and said still in thought "I started building a company some time back but I don't know the reason why I started doing that, anyways I want to start working on it again."

Jessica smiled knowing well what was the reason but as long as it kept him busy she agreed "Sounds good, you should strengthen it and if you need me for anything I will always be by your side."

He nodded and then asked "Do you any idea why I started working when I had given up on it a long time ago."

She shook her head "This is the first time you mentioned it but it maybe because you were bored like you are now and want to do that again."

He nodded and in his heart he felt that there was something special behind it but before he could think of anything else Jessica said "I will go with you tomorrow morning before I leave for work, now you go to sleep."

He smiled "Thank you but before I go to sleep let me help you."

He picked up the dishes to help her clean the table but she snatched it "No need just go to sleep because I know you will make a mess."

He looked at the ground guiltily and in a timid voice said "Then I will go to sleep."

As Rachel woke up from her sleep, she still felt tiered and didn't wish to get out of the bed, she had a very strange dream but now that she was awake, everything had disappeared and she didn't remember anything about the dream. She tried to think about it as she felt it was something important but nothing came back to her but there was a ring that lingered in her mind. She had seen this ring before and now she focused on thinking where it was that she saw this ring when it finally stuck her that this was the one that she had found on her table and Jessica claimed that it was hers.

Rachel thought back of that night and many things didn't add up the way they were supposed to, she felt something missing so she called Jessica and when she picked up her tone was a little odd "Hi, how did the meeting go."

Rachel replied half heartedly to that question "It went well but that is not the reason I called you."

Jessica's voice turned serious "What is it?"

Rachel thought for a while thinking if it was a good thing ask or not and eventually she asked "Jess, do you remember the ring that I saw on my birthday in my room."

Jessica feared that she must have remembered something and asked "Yes, what about it."

"Would you mind giving it to me for a while?"

Jessica heaved a sigh of relief "Off course not, I will bring it to you."

"Don't worry it's not something urgent, do it when you are free, I just wanted to ask."

"Alright then I will fly to you as soon as possible."

After she was done talking, she heard a knock at her door and went to open it thinking it was Oliver but as she did, she saw the person she had least expected.

She looked at him and asked "What are you doing here?"

He smiled "I am here for you."

She gave him a strange look "What do you mean?"

He smiled and without her permission enterted the room "Simple, I just want to spend time with you."

Rachel felt her anger surging in "Don't make me retract to violence and better leave the room."

He didn't move from his place "I won't and you are highly mistaken to think you can beat me up."

Rachel rubbed her temples thinking that he was too annoying.
