Everything was fine for the next four months and finally the most awaited day of Rachel's birthday was near. A week before her birthday her parents had returned and started the preparations of her birthday. Rachel was the most excited person she wanted to find out everything about herself and she could not contain her excitement within herself as very soon she would know who she was and what powers she would possess.

The birthday banquet was set and all the guests were invited as they were going to celebrate it at midnight so she began to feel very tense a day before. Although she was excited about everything, she was also scared of the responsibilities do she could not rest her racing heart.

She was taken by Robert to get dressed as she had to look most beautiful. She was the daughter of The Cullens and in 20 years this was the first time she had decided to come out in public. It was because Charles had told him that eventually he would be giving the charge of the company to her in a few months so she had to start interacting with people.

She didn't like it but to her the company was as dear as it was to her father, she had always been helping him with him matters. By now she was already handling all the difficult situations in the company so Charles's was confident enough in his daughter. Although she refused to take over, he told her that she was the only heir so no matter what she did with the company, he would definitely give it to her. She had agreed to her father and now was ready to let everyone see her face. She was going to be involved in the company superficially too by interacting with the staff which she had never done. She was way to nervous that Robert had no clue of what to do and he was at a loss.

She was annoyed as she had never spent this much time getting dressed up but the people helping her out were professionals and were taking their time so she could only wait helplessly.

Robert was waiting outside the door for her pacing around anxious but his worry was not limited to the one that Rachel had, it was even more intense. He was worried that it was the most important night and the powers in her body will be activated but in the first hour of her powers activating in her body, she would still be weak to fight that meant that it was the perfect time for the enemies to attack. He knew that it was not just Lora but many other who had been waiting for this night so he had to be very careful. He could not leave her side even for a second or she would be in danger.

Finally it was the time for the most awaited banquet to began although they were going to cut the cake at 12, the party had to begin early. Everyone was so excited to see the rich daughter that many of them had gathered even before time and it was sad if half of the city had appeared to see this person. Reporters were invited too so that this huge banquet could go viral and the way everyone was excited it was bound to attract a lot of attention.

Rachel came out of her room after spending a lot of annoying hours getting ready and seeing her Robert could not resist himself and pulled her for a kiss but she placed her hand on his lips "I can't spend any more time getting this makeup if you ruin it so please don't do anything. I am already annoyed because I had to do this"

The artist behind her chuckled and said "It won't be destroyed, it is of good quality."

She glared at him angrily "How do I know I am doing this for the first time."

The person immediately shut up as he could not afford to offend this princess but Robert could not help himself and laughed before placing a kiss on her lips "You sound so miserable as if something bad happened, you should be happy that you can enjoy these comforts that not everyone can."

She glared at him and said "Let's go"

Not even a fairy could compare to her at this moment, she was the perfect definition of beauty as she wore a floor length red gown with a beautiful and bold embroidery on it. This was one of the dresses that Robert had given him and she just wanted to wear it on this special occasion. It had an elegant side slit on the right and from there her amazing black high heels could be seen. Her hair were curled up from the bottom as few of them were allowed rest on her shoulder and the rest of them were let loose till her waist. Beautiful hair accessories were added and it seemed as if this look was especially for her.

She went downstairs first to join the group as a normal person attending the party so that she could assess people's behavior. If she was going to be the owner of such a huge company in the country she had to make sure that the people she kept around her were right. Charles had also decided to hand over the charge of the the detective company to her but that was when she was capable enough to win it.

She asked Robert to let her talk to people and not stay with him all the time but he instead grabbed her waist and said "I am not leaving your side but you can talk to whoever you want, I won't stop you."

He rolled her eyes "The problem is not that, it is that you are so intimidating that I can not talk to anyone if I go with you."

He smiled at her and said "Then I will just look at you that way no one will be intimidated."

Rachel sighed "Why can't you be nice to others too."

He smiled and poked her nose with his finger "Because everyone is not you."

She blushed "You sure know how to impress a lady."

He smiled "Let's go and find the people you need to throw out."

She nodded and went ahead before saying "Whatever they say don't be angry or all of them won't speak up, just keep your cool and I may have a thank you for it later."

He looked at her with a shocked expression and his heart skipped a beat. He could never get angry if what he was looking forward to was what was underneath that dress. His imagination ran wild but with a lot of difficulty, he brushed it away and brought himself to the present and smiled at her before mixing into the crowd.

Rachel went to greet a few young ladies in their 20s with a smile she said "Hello, I was wondering if you work in Cullen Groups."

One of them said arrogantly "What has that to do with you?"

She smiled "I will be joining the company so I wanted some advice from the seniors already working there so that I can perform well."

Although she was still talking, she had realised that they were arrogant and not the type to stay at the company but she was still asking because she she wanted to find out if they brought any profit to the company. If they were doing their jobs well she could still keep them and later make them change their attitude by some means.

The same lady said again "Huh, you want to talk to the senior then talk to someone from a lower department, we are from the most high department and the important part of the company, we don't talk to lowly people like you."

'Lowly people', Rachel laughed in her head 'Just wait until you know who your next boss is then I will tell you how to respect, well until then I can enjoy.'

She didn't lose her smile as she found all this very amusing "I am sorry to disturb you but may I ask what is your work."

One of them said proudly "We deal with the important files for the group but we don't need to explain it to a filthy creatures like you, you won't understand."

The smile on Rachel's lips lowered and she made a face that looked like she was about to cry and her voice became heart broken "How can you say like that, I was just being friendly."

The girls laughed and one spoke again "Little girl, you should know that you can't make friends with everyone, you should know you status and now if you don't want us to dump all our work on you after you join as we do on others, who we don't like, then you should get going."

Rachel began to cry and went to the bar to attract the attention of men while Robert chuckled by her side "You are such a good actress, I almost felt like you were crying for real."

She gave a side smile to him "Don't come too near now it's time to attract all the jerk men in the company to drive them out."

Robert nodded and she reminded him "Don't loose control, trust me."

He nodded again in affirmation.
