Jamie looked behind her and scolded "Daisy is it really necessary to scare others all the time."

She was pretending to be angry but she looked adorable as she spoke "But how could you not tell me about Rachel and I only came to know about it through the news."

Charles looked at Robert and then at Daisy "We too come to know it today and rushed here as soon as we could. Robert didn't want to tell us thinking that it will affect our work and we just landed here."

Daisy looked angrily at Robert and then back at Jamie "How is she?"

Jamie had a panicked look on her face as she spoke "It does not look very good but doctors are doing their best."

Daisy and James talked a little more until Robert interrupted them "Mrs. Cullen can I talk to you in private."

Jamie nodded understandingly because she already had some hint of what he was going to talk about. As they went to the side Robert's voice was as worried as it was since morning "Mrs. Cullen you know why I called you here please tell me you can help her."

Jamie looked at him angrily "Robert before being related to you, she is my daughter so I am more worried about her. Off course I came here to treat her but I can't say what I can do until I see her and for that I need to keep all the people away from the ICU for some time so that no one interrupts me. I am just trying to send everyone away because I am worried to death."

Robert had a thoughtful look on his face and then his eyes met Jamie's as he spoke "I will do that, you can go in and treat her."

Jamie smiled and patted his arm "Very well then."

He first went to James and Daisy and asked politely "I was wondering where is Lucus at this moment?"

James replied not liking the question and the fact that Robert was interfering with it "The nanny we hired is taking care of him. Why do you ask?"

Robert looked towards Jamie as if asking her to take it from there and she got the hint about what he wanted "Oh my God! James are you crazy, how can you leave such a small kid alone with a nanny at least one of you must be present with the baby. Don't you know there have been rising cases of babies being kidnapped this way and how are you even sure this is safe."

A hint of worry flashed through their eyes and both of them looked at each other and then at Jamie "But we can't leave Rachel here like this too."

Robert was about to speak when Jamie placed a hand on his shoulder indicating that she will handle it "Don't worry just go back quickly and bring him here, we will take care that he is away from any infections."

Daisy nodded and along with James she was about to leave when Jamie said "Wait" she then looked at Charles and said "I will sleep at night and because you can be awake all night, you should go with them and freshen up, take a shower."

Charles was a little hesitant but he agreed and went with both of them. After they left Jamie smiled and gave a high five to Robert "Now only two are left."

Robert looked at them and said "You should go and talk to Oliver and thank him because he won't take my kind gesture and tell him to come back a little later because it would be better if he was in a little presentable look in front of Rachel. You can pretend to dislike me and show your interest in him as if he is a good match for Rachel and I will take care of Kevin."

Jamie laughed "You are really smart."

Robert smirked because he was now in a good mood as there was saying lot of hope for Rachel "I have been ruling places off course you need to be smart."

Jamie smiled and went to Oliver with a grateful look on her face "You are the one who brought her here on time, right."

Oliver nodded and Jamie offered her hand to him "Hello I am her mother and I really want to thank you for helping my daughter."

A smile crept on Oliver's face and he shook Jamie's hand "It's good to meet you Mrs. Cullen but I wish it was under better circ.u.mstances."

Jamie made a sad face "Me too but why are you in such a bad condition, I mean still filled with her blood. It will scare her when she wakes up, you should go and change."

Oliver thought that she was hinting at him that he should be with Rachel but he wanted to make sure "It doesn't matter, she will be looking for her boyfriend once she wakes up and it's not as if I have a chance with her that I need to be presentable. I am just worried about her."

Jamie looked down on the floor and said in a sad tone "Oh yeah that boyfriend of hers."

She then looked up with a spark in her eyes as she spoke "You should still go and change maybe something good will come out of you saving her and it would be better if you understand what I am suggesting."

Oliver smiled "Yes Mrs. Cullen, I feel that you don't like Robert and you would rather have me to be her boyfriend then that idiot."

Jamie smiled and didn't say anything but Oliver didn't wait for her verbal consent as he ran away. Robert came out of the hiding and laughed a little "Mrs. Cullen, you should be an actor."

Jamie laughed and then looking at him said in a serious tone "Call me mother."

Robert smiled "Alright then I will eliminate Kevin and you can go in after that."

Jamie nodded as Robert went to Kevin and used the same trick he did the last time when he was in Rachel's room but this time the place was quite different to make it difficult for him to come back. He then returned to the hospital and told Jamie that the work was done and she could go in but Jamie looked at him worried "What about the doctors?"

Robert looked around and saw a doctor coming their way then he said "Don't worry I will take care of them."

Jamie nodded and Robert went up to the doctor that was responsible was treating Rachel and said in a cold tone "I don't want any doctor near the ICU for an hour, can that be arranged. Although he asked a question, his tone and eyes were so cold that it was clearly an order. The doctor gulped in fear and didn't dare ask any questions as he said "Sure I can arrange that, you do whatever you want."

Robert nodded and then spoke again "And there should be no noise."

The doctor nodded "Yes Sir, there won't be."

Robert's gaze softened a little "Good then and let me tell you if I see anyone or any noise is made that person will not have his head attached to their neck just warn everyone for me."

Before the doctor could reply Robert went to Jamie and said "Mother everything is done, now you can go in."

Jamie nodded and then once more she looked at Robert and little guilty "I am sorry but one last thing, I don't want to contaminate the place just get me the sterilized clothes."

Robert nodded and soon he brought the sterilized clothes from the doctor who helped him without any questions because he loved his life.

Jamie quickly changed her clothes and went in, she looked at her daughter and froze on her spot. The way her daughter looked terrified her, tears began to roll down her eyes and she slowly sat in the chair placed next to her, she stroked her head "I will try my best sweetie but this is a head injury that really comes across me."

She could not help but cry at how pale and deadly her daughter looked, it was as if she was already dead. She didn't have the heart to give up without trying so she took in a deep breath and placed her hand on Rachel's head after which she started to enchant a few healing charms. Her eyes were closed and she was fully concentrated on what she was doing while Robert who could see her through the glass doors was fully focused too. He anxiously saw what was happening while he also took care that no one was around to disturb.

As time passed by and she was still not opening her eyes, the fear in his heart was slowly growing and after half an hour Jamie opened her eyes and tears streamed down her cheeks making Robert's heart leap. She patted her head and as if she could not see her in that condition anymore, she came out crying. Robert asked in a shaky voice "What is wrong?"

Jamie didn't speak for a long while until finally she said "I healed her injury but she is still not waking up, I don't know what is wrong."
