Robert's face lost it's colour he looked at the doctor in shock and after a while asked as if he didn't hear "What do you mean?"

The doctor was scared by the look on his face but he still said patiently "I mean to say that her condition is really critical and she might not wake up soon."

Robert could not control his rage, he just wanted to kill Carren at this moment and seeing this Principal knew that something was wrong so before Robert could do anything he himself send Carren away telling the situation so Robert started feeling restless.

Oliver didn't like that this person was Rachel's boyfriend but his behavior was sure driving him crazy so he went up to him and said in a straight tone "Hey are you crazy. You behaving like this won't change anything but if you are not patient it might worsen her condition."

Robert gave Oliver a death stare and then sat in a bench quietly while he waited for the doctor to come out and tell the progress of the operation. After a while he came out and told Robert "We have operated and it was successful."

From the tone of the doctor he didn't sound like it was a good news and Oliver who was listening too butted in "Doctor there is a but in the sentence isn't it."

The doctor nodded "Yes there is and it is that it only depends on her will to live that too is very low, she might not survive if she doesn't wake up in 2 days until then we will keep her in ICU.

Robert had never felt this weak and helpless in his like, he was actually terrified and his voice trembled while he spoke "Can I see her."

The doctor was shocked to see this side of him compared to the terrifying side he saw some time ago. He simply nodded feeling empty for him, he said "You can see her after we shift her to the 'Intensive care unit', we will give you the sterilized clothes to be worn and then you can see her but you have to be careful."

Robert nodded his head and sat on the bench waiting for the doctor to shift her to the ICU. Kevin and Oliver still stood in front of the doctor as if silently asking him to allow them to go in too. The doctor gave them an indifferent look as he was sure these people were not related to the patient but because Robert had saved her, he could not say no so he smiled and said "You can visit too."

Both of them sat down next to Robert but he was too sad to be bothered about the other two, she was son shifted to the ICU and Robert was the first one to go and meet her. He went in and looked at her pale figure, his heart clenched looking at that condition of hers. He held her hand and this was the first time, tears fell from his eyes and he said with his voice trembling "Rachel, I am not as strong as you take me to be. Please don't leave me alone I won't be able to live."

He sat there for a long while holding her hand and staring at her immobile figure, he had never cried before not even in worse of his times but this was out of his control and he was scared to loose hers. His heart clenched and the tears were flowing out of his eyes automatically, it was the first time he knew what it felt like to be helpless. If he could he would make her immortal too but that could not happen even if she drank the thing he did, it was still impossible.

When he was done he got up and finally decided to let Charles handle the situation, he could not let them get away with this. He went out and called Charles and told him everything, he said that he would come through his helicopter as soon as possible and handle the case.

He quickly packed his things and took Jamie with him and on the way he could not sit still, he took out his laptop and began working on it. Jamie who was worried about her daughter asked angrily "What are you doing?"

Charles gave her a look and said in a calm tone "Making this girl suffer."

She looked at him confused and then took a peak at his laptop although she did not understand much, she understood that it much she knew it was something related to making his company disappear and as she was evaluating that, her phone rang and it was her friend that she didn't even want to talk to right now but she still picked up the call. Before she spoke anything, the voice from the phone came "Jamie please make your husband stop, I know my daughter was wrong and I am really sorry for it. I will pay all the fees for your daughter's hospital expenses but if your husband does not stop we will be ruined and loose everything. Please forgive my daughter she will apologize to your daughter too, consider it as a friend."

Jamie shouted at her "Do you really think we lack money to pay for our daughter and can you really buy my daughter's life with your filthy money. You will have to pay for it and now you should consider calling yourself a friend."

Jamie cut the call after saying that and then she turned to Charles "Ruin the family and make her daughter pay for it."

Tears rolled down her eyes "If something happens to my daughter I will kill her with my own hands."

Charles gave her a sharp look "I will make them pay but we can't stoop to their level and it is true that she didn't intend to harm her so we can't take her life."

Jamie lowered her head as she knew that what she said was wrong and she waited for him to finish patiently while back at the hospital Robert didn't wait there he went to the police station. As he had discussed with Charles, he filed a complaint against Carren and Charles had decided to ruin their family.

Robert reported to the police and Carren was immediately arrested while he slipped the information to the news channel too that their family had offended the Cullens. he then went back to the hospital and waited for Rachel to wake up there, he sat on the bench without moving or doing anything and just waiting.

Oliver went into the ICU after Robert came out and he looked at the pale figure of Rachel, he sat down in the chair placed next to her and then he said "You are so beautiful that you have won my heart although we have not met or introduced ourselves properly but still feel heart broken to see you like this. You can say that it was the love at first sight so please wake up because I want to know you better and spend a lot of time together with you."

He placed a kiss on her hand and looked at her face, his heart clenched to look at her like this at her radiant and the face filled with different emotions came to his mind and he actually felt like crying but before he did that he just left the room and didn't look back to prevent himself from crying.

Last was Kevin and he went very carefully taking care that Robert was not around or he would not have let him enter. He didn't say anything and just started at her for a while then with his finger he trailed his finger from his face all the way down to her body and her body trembled. He smirked "I knew you love me, you still react to my touch."

His l.u.s.tful gaze fell on her body and he wanted to do a lot more than he just did but the doctor that came in realized his intentions and said in a low and firm tone in order to not disturb the other patients but be rude enough to him "Stop being creepy and get out."

Kevin smirked "Tsk, you people" but he didn't create trouble and left easily. The doctor that had come in checked on Rachel to see if there was any change in her condition because he too had seen her tremble but there was nothing different and he was shocked at that. Earlier he had decided to tell Robert so that he could be happy about the change but now he thought that telling him would only make him angry because someone touched her so he decided to keep this from that dangerous person.

Jamie and Charles took arrived and when they saw Kevin they were so angry that they asked Robert "What is he doing here?"

Robert said with a plain face "Let it be, he dragged along but I won't let him do anything so don't worry."

Charles nodded and then a sharp voice pierced their ears "How dare you do this?"
