Rachel looked at him confused and said "Why, I like it here plus I am starving, I don't want to go anywhere else."

Robert stared at the waiter and then said "I don't like the service here."

"We have not even ordered yet."

When Robert stared at the waiter again, she realized what the problem was and she smiled, she then stood up from her seat and hugged him tightly while placing a kiss on his lips "Please let's eat here, honey. I am starving."

All his anger vanished like he never was angry, he bent down to whisper in her ear "I will keep the count when the time comes to punish you."

He then went to sit on the chair opposite to Rachel while Rachel sat in her seat with her cheeks turned red. Robert looked at the menu and placed the order for both of them arrogantly and after the waiter left he turned to Rachel to speak "Your mother called me while I was in the washroom."

"Why did she call you instead of me?"

"Because your phone was off, anyways she was asking when we were going to return and when I told her we will be back by tonight, she said that we have to attend the party, one of her friends is throwing."

Rachel gave an annoyed look and asked "Can't we go tomorrow then, I don't want to attend the party."

He looked at her with a smile as if he had heard a joke "Why?"

She rolled her eyes "I don't like going to these parties where you have to pretend to be nice to everyone and then everyone is nice to you when you know that they want to stab you. Moreover when a handsome man like you will be with me the number of people will increase will be there to accidentally trip and throw there drinks at me."

Robert laughed as she said the last sentence with a straight face and then he asked "Has it happened before?"

Rachel chuckled "Like I would let anyone do that. I have pretended till the end that I don't know what is gonna happen and at the end I move aside to have them actually fall and make a fool of themselves and that is a blissful site to watch."

Robert laughed again and while they chatted the waiter came with their food and when he left, Rachel warned "You will have to be careful too as many girls will be ready to throw themselves on you."

Robert smiled "It will be fun to watch, what about you, won't there be men throwing themselves on my beautiful fiance."

Rachel smirked "Like they have a chance."

Robert laughed again and then began serving the dishes to Rachel and then he put the food on his plate before they started eating.

Later that evening they returned home and Jamie was already waiting for them by the door. Charles was ready too and as he came forward to hug his daughter he noticed the ring on her finger and then looked at Robert.

Rachel smiled widely following her father's gaze, she said "Dad we are engaged."

Before Charles could react Jamie hugged her daughter and jumped up in happiness "Oh my God, this is amazing."

Charles pulled Jamie back and looked at her daughter sternly "Sweetie is there something wrong because you are too young for this."

Rachel smiled at her father "Dad relax nothing is wrong" she air quoted the last word knowing that her dad meant that if she was pregnant "it is just that he said that we will marry whenever I will be ready for it, he will wait for all those years this is just our commitment to each other."

Charles was about to protest when Jamie squeezed his arm tightly and gave him a stare warning him not to continue his sentence. He rolled his eyes and said "Do as you kids like but be careful."

Rachel gave an angry look to her dad before saying "Dad, you need to trust me."

Jamie then changed the subject to avoid a possible argument "Alright, now we will celebrate this some other time because right now we have a party to attend, we are ready so we will be leaving first both of you can rest for a while and come later as it will be till late night."

Rachel made a disinterested face again as she said to her mother "Do we really have to go."

Jamie gave her a stern look "You know, I hate these parties as much as you do but somethings are unavoidable so you better be on time."

Rachel rolled her eyes "Alright, mom."

Jamie shook her head at her daughter's response and soon both of them left the house leaving Rachel and Robert alone.

Both of them took the shower and freshened up before getting ready.

A beautiful dress was lying on the bed which was a rare piece and no one got that easily. Rachel looked at the dress and was awestruck and then she looked at Robert who came to hold her in his arms and said "My woman should look beautiful."

Rachel traced her hand on his chest before saying seductively "Are you sure, there will be other men who will have an eye on your woman."

Robert made the face as if he was in deep thought "Well, if that is so then I will that their eyes out but my woman should have the best things I'm the room. Now go put it on."

Rachel smiled at him before she went to put on the dress and when she came out fully dressed, Robert could not take his eyes off her. He pulled her closer and placed a passionate kiss on her lips before he whispered "Now that I have seen you, I don't want anyone else to see you. I just want to keep this view to myself."

Rachel blushed at his words "You are one smooth talker, now doubt women used to throw themselves on you."

He laughed at her words and then spoke again "All I want to do right now is rip that dress off you and have one passionate night with you that you won't be able to get out of the bed tomorrow."

She turned even more red and then pushed him away "Let's go or your words will bewitch me never to leave and then my mother will give me one hell of time."

He then placed a hand on her waist and took her outside to the car and soon they were at the place where her mother had asked them to come.

Rachel looked at the house and commented "Dammit, it's that bitch."

Robert looked at her "Whose house is it?"

"Carren"

Robert's lips pulled up into a smile as he said "So the drama is inevitable."

Rachel smiled back "Indeed"

Robert held her hand "I won't leave your side because I love the way you mess with her."

Rachel laughed "It's gonna be a long and fun night" she looked at Robert and squeezed his hand before saying "Let's have fun."

Robert nodded his head and parked the car before both of them got out to enter the house. Before entering the house Robert placed a hand on Rachel's waist pulling her closer to him and a wide smile spread across her face.

As they entered the house all the eyes fell on them as they were amazed by the beautiful couple that had entered and all of them were completely enticed by their clothes. As they made their way in, they spotted a lady coming their was with a smile when Rachel whispered in Robert's ear "She has a fake smile and she will come here to comment on my dress then she will go back to that group to gossip about it."

Robert chuckled and when the lady came and praised her dress, she said a thank you. Robert moved a little closer to listen to what she was saying to her friends and when he heard that, he came back to Rachel "You are good at this!"

Rachel smiled "I know, I have been to these parties long enough and as I didn't talk much, I just observed people."

He laughed again "What do you plan to do now."

She pretended to be in deep thought before she spoke "What's a party without the drama, come let's have a little fun."

Before she could move Jamie and Charles came in front of her with another couple who were the host of the party, it was Carren's mother and father. Although they were not friends, they were very good business partners and they didn't know about their daughter's rivalry with Rachel so everything was fine.

Jamie introduced Mr. and Mrs. Brown to her and her to them before they asked about Rachel and how she studied in the same class as their daughter. Carren was then called by them and both of them had to pretend to be on good terms in front of their parents. Soon the parents left leaving the kids behind to talk that was when Carren came to her true self and tried to pull the trick, she had up her sleeve.
