Robert said "When I was the ruler all of them wanted to be by my side and I slept with a lot of them but none of that felt good so I eventually stopped. Later when I felt the need I would sleep with anyone I wanted and everyone was always ready to get into bed with me, they felt like it was an achievement for them even if it was a night with me."

Rachel laughed at his words but his serious face made her stop as he said "What is so funny?"

She admired his features, he indeed was a Godly beauty as she said "Then how did this woman charmer settle for a lady who is not ready to have s.e.x with him yet."

He said with his eyes filled with love for her "I don't know when it happened but I was told to protect you without making my presence known. In the past I had tried to kill myself as I was tired of living and then there is a future teller in our country who told me that there will be a woman who will need make me fall in love with her and my desire to die will disappear. I didn't believe her but then she said that I will have to stop trying these things because that woman will need my protection and I had to do that to help this world from being destroyed."

She nodded and he continued "So I agreed and then you were born and I was there watching you from far. You were so different from every other woman so I began to like you and it slowly turned into love and I was so desperate to meet you and be next to you, that I didn't plan to do for another year but then Kevin appeared, my desperation began to increase but initially I didn't know he was the evil one and when I did, I warned him. Then I had to eventually appear in front of you because 'desperate times call for desperate measures' so I transformed myself for the first time after so long."

He felt disgusted with himself with how many lives he took in the past but the love that was reflected in Rachel's eyes made him forget everything.

Rachel smiled at him and came forward to sit in his lap, wrapping her arms around his neck she asked in her sweet voice "So when did you realize you love me?"

He was lost in thoughts "I don't know maybe when I saw you were different from other women and didn't throw yourself on a man or when you fought to protect complete strangers or when you stood up for yourself but somewhere between that only you began to occupy my mind, I only thought about you, my world began revolving around you."

Rachel could not contain her blush, her cheeks flushed red and she felt hot but she didn't let go of him instead leaned in to kiss him passionately. She was flooded with emotions in her head but no words came out of her mouth, she didn't know what to say so she simply rested her head against his chest.

Robert wanted the time to stop like this and he didn't ever want to let go of her but then he looked at the time and it was already 11:45 so he made her lie down on the bed, his arm wrapped around her, he said "You have to wake up early tomorrow and it's already too late so go to sleep.

She put am arm around his waist and whispered "Mhn"

As Rachel went off to sleep, Robert kept staring at her. He wanted to lock her up somewhere and protect her from all the dangers that were inevitable and were sure to befall her. He had pain in his eyes and this time it was not for himself but for Rachel, he didn't want anything to happen to her. Although he did his best to protect her, he knew the worst was yet to come and even if he put in all his efforts, he will have to let Rachel fight. He slowly kissed her forehead and closed his eyes to go to sleep.

The next month went quite peacefully as they went to school and had their training, later did their homework. The bond between them kept getting stronger, Robert along with all this kept digging deep into the matters of Kevin but everytime s he would end up with nothing and he was sure that someone much powerful was helping him, he wanted to find out but the information was being concealed, he was getting more desperate with passing time and he knew that the other person was getting stronger.

It was finally the day when their training was complete and both of them had passed their tests so David called them in his office to tell them about the mission. He made them sit and locked the door of his office behind them as he began to speak "Both of you are perfect for this mission as I have observed so now you have to listen to me carefully. There is gangster who has been ruling a small town, we have found about this just now because now he has shifted his focus to bigger cities. He is very powerful himself and his gang is always there with him. He has been destroying houses and building big malls and properties that benefit him and he does not pay the people for the land he takes what I mean by that is he uses his power and kills the people who don't listen. He has r.a.p.ed many girls but no one could file a complaint because he killed them and made their bodies disappear. We can not officially arrest him because no charges can be filed as he has his paperwork complete with him and we don't have any official evidence. He is coming to our city next month so I want both of you to prepare yourself and form a plan or do something so that he is punished for his crimes."
