When they returned home, Daisy was still there so the happy look on Rachel's face changed a little, she looked at her mother almost blaming her for lying to this person, she knew she would have to go through another round of torment. Jamie just smiled at her and coming close to her, she whispered in her ear "Please bear with it for now, she will be gone soon."
Rachel turned and said in a tone only her mother could hear "That will be soon for you not for me."
She gave a frustrated look to her mother and then went to sit besides Daisy, she talked to her normally this time which made her relax and she happily chatted with this normal aunt of hers. Later they all had dinner together and Rachel went to her room first to take a shower all the while thinking of the wonderful place she had been to and then she thought about Robert that how caring he was but she wanted to know more about him, about his past as she was ready to accept him with whatever it contained.
She tied her bathrobe and got into the bed waiting for Robert to return who was still downstairs talking to her family. She felt anxious as she so badly wanted to know about his past but she had no other option but to wait so she lay down and began to play a game on her phone.
Soon Robert returned and she looked at him with excitement, he was scared by the look in her eyes so he asked "What is it?"
"I want to ask you something."
"What"
"I want to know everything about you so you have to tell me about your past. I promise you don't have to worry as it won't affect my feelings towards you."

His cheerful face turned a little grim as he sat next to her and said "I want to tell you everything but you will stop loving me after that."
Rachel smiled at him and called him to her side of the bed as she sat up, he came closer to her and she held his wrist to make him sit next to her."
She then wrapped her arms around his waist and began to speak "My love for you is not that fragile and even if you did bad things in the past, I don't care I love you for who you are now and most importantly I don't want a third person coming to me and telling me about you so you have to say it. I understand if you can't tell it now but you have to tell me soon. I want to know."
He made her lie in his lap and asked in a trembling voice "Are you sure you can handle this."
She nodded with determination telling him that she would not let go of him. He took in a deep breath as Rachel held his hand tightly and he began to speak "First thing when I told you that I can't die, what I meant was I am Immortal and I have been living for over a million years, it's a long time and there was a time I wanted to stop living. I tried so many ways but everything was impossible, nothing could kill me.
I was a human at the time dinosaurs were present, I have seen the evolution happen. At that time dinosaurs were the once to rule the planet like now we humans do and they would kill any other animal they saw, it was the survival of the fittest."

Rachel's grip on his hand tightened as she listened, she felt a strange pain in her heart as she said "It is so scary."
"It was like it is now for many animals from the people who go hunting."
She looked at him keenly and asked "Then what happened?"
He nodded and continued "Humans were not as smart as they are now but we were definitely smarter that dinosaurs so we would always find ways to survive by holding in caves and in thick forests. We could not built shelters as we would become easily recognizable so we somehow found ways. That was when they started feeding on other animals but that meal was not satisfactory for them as were humans, they were driven mad and began frantically searching for humans. They began to destroy all the forests and caves, humans were exposed and they began feasting again."
Rachel held her breath "Then humans must have found another way to survive."
Robert nodded "Yes they did, we learned the camouflage technique but we had limited resources and we could not go out as we all were too scared."
She looked at him and said "What did you do, I mean was your family able to get enough resources."
"No and at that moment as I told you it was the survival of the fittest, we were 10 people in our family and we had the materials for only 2 people." he paused as he could not bring himself to tell her what happened next. Rachel understood what he must have done next and why he feared telling it so she got up from his lap.
He thought that she was scared of him and was about to get away from her when she held his waist and said softly "I understand, you can tell me."
He relaxed a little but she could see the hidden emotion of pain in his eyes "We all decided to make teams and fight each other and whoever won would be the owner of that so me and my mother were the strongest so we teamed up to increase our chances of winning. I was 20 when I killed my whole family although I was really happy then that we were able to survive but it feels terrible whenever I think about it. I feel disgusted with myself and I think I don't deserve anything good in my life for what I did because after that I did even more terrible things."
